The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

16/09/2025: A good beer and a tasty feed on a Thursday night in Dublin. A group of us in the snug with table service made for a great night out. Would recommend.

12/09/2025: Cosy, fun and a place you can stay. You can spend a night in the ginger man no matter the season but Halloween and Christmas cam make it all the better. The staff decorate the space and dress up upon occasion and that makes this place special. It's one of the few spots in the city you can start and finish a night happily.

20/11/2025: Do NOT order the fish and chips! Absolutely awful!!! It costs 20 euros, and only the chips were edible. The fish was incredibly oily and tasteless, and the fish itself was bland and unappetizing. This could easily be the worst fish and chips ever. I was so angry after eating it. I even peeled off the oily crust and ate only the tiny bit of fish inside, but it was still awful. How can they make it so bad? It's amazing! Fisherman’s pie is delicious! The potato pie sits on a bed of creamy seafood soup. The umami and creaminess are both fantastic! Highly recommended! The teriyaki chicken is also good. It's fried chicken served over a layer of spicy Chinese fried rice. The fried rice is very fragrant and delicious. Why is it that one restaurant can have such extreme flavors, with some items being incredibly delicious and others extremely bad?

14/10/2025: Absolutely loved Aqua Restaurant in Howth! The views over the harbor are amazing. It feels like you’re dining right on the sea. My steak was cooked perfectly, and friends raved about the salmon. Excellent wine list, great service, and a warm, elegant vibe. Worth the short walk down West Pier easily one of the top meals I’ve had in Ireland. The Amore Life indeed!

21/08/2025: The restaurant is situated beautifully however the muscles were very over salted and the fish pie was luke warm and was more potato than fish

15/11/2025: Food was really great, service as well. I thought the portion was particularly small, and all the fake plants a bit kitschy for an otherwise environmentally conscious restaurant.

13/11/2025: Nice vegetarian food locally sourced. Portions were small but everything tasted good. The host was very friendly with great service as we're the girls who brought out the food and took our order. A different waiter messed up our bill and initially undercharged us by €2. He did come back over to retake this additional payment which we were happy to pay but for the sake of €2 surely you should just accept your waiters mistake and not bother the guests.

11/10/2025: It was okay. We were there in the evening, but the lighting was bright as daylight. You'd think they were just closing time. That spoiled the ambiance. The price was good.

08/10/2025: Spent my birthday lunch here alone on a wednesday and everything went very well. I was seated to a dark corner initially but as more customers came in and seated to the tables next to me, they decided to turn on the lights at last. Service was excellent and food was served promptly. I dont drink alcohol so i got the non-alcoholic cocktails and they were surprisingly good. The food was delicious as well and I really enjoyed everything i ordered. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would definitely come back.

04/10/2025: A very intimate and quaint place. I had duck served with mashed potatoes and broccoli, which was truly excellent! Dishes made with quality ingredients! The kitchen staff were excellent! The service staff were very friendly! Not to be missed! Congratulations!

26/09/2025: I had the Early Bird here on Tuesday 23 Sept. The Bacalao Croquette for starter, Wild Atlantic Cod with a side salad was the main course followed by Apple Crumble for dessert, with 2 glasses of the Macon Villages. I really enjoyed the food and indeed the experience. The attention from both waiters was excellent....polite, professional and with an understated warmth...a credit to the team in fact.

30/09/2025: Awesome night.. the owner is a card with a Great intro and wind up. I was not expecting much from the food but it was very good. I had the stew and it was very moreish. The dancing and music was great. Big crowd in as well from all over.. but none from North Korea. The parking was good. The drinks were also very reasonable price.

05/11/2025: We chose this place as it is right around the corner from Guinness. Irish stew is outstanding, grilled cheese with ham and butternut squash soup and you can't leave out Irish Coffees. If in the area and hungry stop in. Staff were top notch and friendly.

29/10/2025: Delicious Irish food and a wide variety of beers, right next to Guinness. The Guinness stew is highly recommended.

04/11/2025: Truly lovely evening. We arrived @ 7pm on a Tuesday evening. There was no wait, but shortly several private parties and other diners arrived. The food was served quickly and was beautifully presented. We had the prawn risotto. Pork and side salad. Everything was perfectly prepared, delicious and quite lovely to look at. The service was gracious, the staff kind and attentive. Highly recommend

27/10/2025: We came here for a team dinner and it was a great experience. The staff here were very friendly, attentive and provided excellent experience for the entire group. The interior design of the restaurant was warm with beautiful lighting and elegant decor. We had a prefixed menu with a few items for the group to choose from to help make the ordering experience easier given the size of the group. The dishes were all excellent and the night was overall, a wonderful place for small groups.
