13/02/2026: Great food. Great service. Very friendly staff.

06/02/2026: Gone downhill since the last time I was there. Food dry, bland and overpriced. How are pancakes more expensive than a full Irish? Staff totally disinterested too.

18/03/2026: We stayed here before our early morning flight back. Parking available on premises which was great since we had the hire car. 10 Euros for 1 night. We recieved an upgrade to a King room which was lovely and we had a nice night sleep. We did not try breakfast because we left too early. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of walkable pubs and restaurants nearby. 10 min approx. drive to the airport.

11/03/2026: Help me, I'm looking for my young, handsome, perfect, sexy, and incredibly handsome man. I left him asleep in the bedroom, and when I left the bathroom, he disappeared. The search is still on. Whoever finds him gets a free concert (if you don't faint at the sight of such a gorgeous man).

14/03/2026: Try the house special with a pint of Guinness to end your day around the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the second floor, chill and good music selection. Nice and friendly staff. Wonderful establishment

04/03/2026: Best steak ciabatta! The pub is cosy and inviting, the staff are attentive, and the food was excellent. We were staying nearby for a few days and ended up visiting three times because it was that good. Definitely one to check out.

01/03/2026: A great gem of a pub with a great atmosphere, great drinks and great live music. Not too busy as well, you can actually talk!

02/03/2026: Excellent food, all three courses. Beautifully cooked and presented. The set deals make it good value for money. The service was seamless. I hope they can make it work, it's a quiet part of town but worth the visit.

27/02/2026: Fantastic meal. I had the crab, mussels and cockles risotto to start, followed by duck with dauphinoise potato and celeriac, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Each course consisted of a wealth of different flavours. Good service too.

19/02/2026: Three of us visited mid week for a three course set menu. We shared some additional sides and a couple of bottles of wine. I don't recall exactly what we paid but it seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the food . The cadence of the service was perfect. Hosts were friendly and informative. We lingered and at no point did we feel rushed... Definitely will return. Oh and the duck was excellent. Loved the turnips .

18/02/2026: Our dining experience was made truly exceptional thanks to our server, Nick. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. It was clear right away that he cared about doing his job well and making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. Nick was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. He took our orders carefully, answered all of our questions with confidence, and gave helpful recommendations when we were unsure what to choose. His knowledge of the menu showed professionalism, and his patience showed genuine kindness. Even when the restaurant became busy, he remained calm and efficient, never making us feel rushed or forgotten. What really stood out about Nick was his positive energy. He checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay, and when there was a small delay with one of our dishes, he handled it quickly and politely. His sense of humour and friendly conversation added to the atmosphere and made the experience more personal rather than just another meal out. Overall, Nick turned a normal visit into a memorable one. His excellent customer service, cheerful personality, and dedication to his role made a big difference in how much we enjoyed our time. A great server can define a restaurant experience, and Nick certainly did that for us. He deserves recognition for his hard work and the outstanding service he provided.

06/03/2026: Hidden gem,great for Sunday dinner with great atmosphere

15/02/2026: Called in for food was left waiting at the door for over 10mins . Not any acknowledgement from staff they just kept walking passed . Then stopped a staff member to ask about food and table. She said would be back over in a sec to look after us , 5 mins later we left . Shocking lack of service .

05/03/2026: Dublin pub that is going downhill fast! ... Used to be excellent but nowadays some of the bar staff (particularily the younger ones) are absolutely USELESS - more intent on burying their heads in their mobile phones than looking after customers! ... Having said that, I must say that the OLDER barmen and SOME of the younger (non-Irish lads) still treat the regulars with respect. But the owners seriously need to teach the younger bar staff (especially the Irish ones) to pay proper attention to their work duty, speak with respect to their paying customers and to be a lot more observant to what is going in the bar rather than yapping among themselves and attending to their mobile phones! 01/03/2026: Stopped for a pint. Very clean, very nice!

12/03/2026: We had a counter seat and loved our meal here. I'm coeliac and the team were amazing chatting through the menu, I was able to order from 90% of the menu and loved everything. Between us we had the black sole special, piri chicken, potatoes and hispi cabbage as well as amazing desserts (which all happened to be gluten free too!) and it was delicious. Great wine list too and the team were so friendly. Would come back!

19/03/2026: The Trocadero is an Irish staple for food; it's been around for as long as I can remember. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. The food is always phenomenal, and the drinks are just as good. They have a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails. This restaurant is a family favorite; you have to call and you will see why. The staff are superb; everyone is happy to see you, and they do their utmost to please you. I look forward to the next time I can call again.

12/03/2026: The food was delicious, well prepared, the staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was classic quality dining with 8x10 glossies of actors on the wall. My husband and I both had the lamb which was prepared perfectly in a reduction sauce with as side of spinach, for dessert I had the poached pear and my husband had the miso chocolate tart, both were excellent!

16/02/2026: I loved the food, it was very well prepared and the waitress Clara was very friendly, explaining everything and the live music was great.

16/02/2026: Live music, our young teenagers were welcome (were there at around 7pm), and our server was polite/attentive. Obviously, Temple Bar prices are to be expected. Guinness was €9.90 and larger were €9.95.

13/03/2026: Really lovely morning was had here. Perfect seats with a view, a lovely full Irish breakfast and a nice touch having stringed cards to hang for memories. One of my best dining experiences.

24/02/2026: It was our first time in Dublin and this bar was very close to our hotel. I must say,it was amazing! The food,service, atmosphere... amazing. We are back in our home country and already miss the bar.
