05/11/2025: We love visiting Farmleigh but we will definitely not be stopping by this restaurant again after paying €16 for two coffees and two very average slices of cake.

18/11/2025: Ding dong - this hit the nail on the head with the atmosphere, I didn’t know where to look and what to listen too, the energy was fantastic as I could see everyone drinking and chatting, the live music was engaging and songs that you could sing along too. The only thing I could ask more from it is that it never ended ahahahhhah

25/02/2025: Enjoyed a meal here for Sunday lunch, I had the roast beef, which was delicious real good cut, my wife had fillet of cod which was also lovely, service was also good and the atmosphere nice also but the big letdown was the price of a glass of wine, €13.50, absolute robbery thus the 3 stars, can’t understand for the life of me how that price can be justified for a glass of wine

12/11/2025: Located about a kilometer from the historic center (easily reached on foot or by public transportation), the Castle Hotel is housed in a well-maintained and well-maintained Georgian townhouse. The rooms are always clean and tidy, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, as is the food in their restaurant, which features live music every evening.

08/10/2025: They look good, and the BBQ wings are delicious. The nachos are also very good. The steak sandwich is also great. From Monday to Thursday, you can get a snack for €10 per person, including a pint! A dream in Dublin. The waiters were friendly.

16/11/2025: My life time bitter experience at foggy Dew on Saturday night. My 24 years in Ireland, I have never experienced security not allowing me to get into the pub for.no reasons. Politely, I asked the security why he wouldn't let me in, he said it was too full whereas he allowed many people after me to go in. Yes I m an African man living and working in Dublin,. I have never caused any trouble or make excuses because of who I am but on the Saturday, 15 November 2025. The security at the entrance of Crow street made me feel, I'm nobody. I asked him many times of offences, if there is any at all but he insisted, I can just come in. I have been to Foggy Dew several times, individually and many times with friends and work mate to have a good time just like everyone one else. I have never caused any trouble neither do I fight or abuse anyone. I will be correct to say that he security man at that night discriminates against me. However, when I stood outside wondering why he won't let me into the PUB, one the staff called PJ Healy noticed me and I explained what the security said to me. PJ Healy actually said he seen my face a few times. PJ Healy actually apologised on his behalf of the security man for the way security at gate of the Crow Street treated me. I can only thank PJ for granting.me the access to pub but I was embarrassed to go because I was earlier denied because of nothing. I will suggest a restraining of the security on how to treat equally and with respect without stereotyping of any individuals regardless of their background. The aim of every business is to make as much they can, give all the bills the management have to pay to keep the business afloat and anyone that comes into Foggy Dew is a potential customer My Big thanks to PJ Healy for humanitarian mindset for making me feel important just like everyone else. 23/07/2025: Food was great a d lovely staff. We had a restaurant voucher given to us for our 50th anniversary but it was not accepted on their system. We checked it on return home and there shouldn't have been a problem looks like it was on the restaurants system. A little disappointing as we checked before booking.

21/07/2025: Waiter Smile, music, seafood like oyster, mussel, lobster and rain. Perfect moment on this bar in Howth town. Really sweet time.

16/08/2025: Recently wandered in on a quiet Saturday afternoon after a long walk out from city centre and before returning back to Spain. I had the best turkey and ham dinner ever....it was like having my Christmas dinner early.....perfect in every way and served by a very professional server named Emma I think. Don't know when I'll be back...but I will....please don't change in the meantime. I also love their idea of Spanish Tapas.....next time eh!
