11/07/2026: Had a lovely meal at The Orchard Inn. The food was fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. I had the Lasagne with chips, and it was cooked perfectly with plenty of flavour. The chips were crispy, and the garlic bread was a delicious addition. The portion size was generous and excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. I'll definitely be back and would happily recommend The Orchard Inn to anyone looking for good food and great service.

21/07/2026: I would like to raise a concern regarding the behaviour of one of the security guards at the entrance. During my recent visit, I found the guard’s behaviour towards me to be unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. Although the entrance was sufficiently wide, he positioned himself in a way that blocked my path and appeared to prevent me from entering freely. I was dressed appropriately in semi-formal office attire, and I do not understand why I was treated in this manner. The incident made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. I am also concerned that I may have been treated differently because of my Asian background. While I cannot be certain of the guard’s intentions, his conduct left me feeling that I was being treated unfairly. I would appreciate it if management could look into this matter and ensure that all visitors are treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, regardless of their background or appearance. The guard is not of irish descent.

04/07/2026: This is a review of 2 separate visits, 6 years apart. In 2020, Alfie's served creme brulee. It is still the absolute best I ever had. It somehow had like a 1 inch sugar crust but the rest of the custard was still creamy and smooth and cool. As for the rest, food is above average, drinks are good and well priced, and the vibe is very chill. Even 6 years apart, aside from no more creme brulee, Alfie's is still a hit with my wife and myself.

01/07/2026: We came to dinner the fajitas were good, but the waiters could be more attentive. We had to ask for napkins two or three times.

17/07/2026: Great Irish pub for a pint and wonderful service! The food on the other hand, yikes! Best to eat elsewhere but was a pleasure with the pint and company.

11/07/2026: Super cute pub. Lots of great antiques and curiosities on the walls and ceilings and beautiful wood panelling and furniture. Great patio area as well. Food was fine, basic pub fare and of course there was a decent selection of draft. Pricing was consistent with the touristy area.

02/06/2026: Fabulous! We had our wedding here and it couldn't have gone better. Every single member of staff was exceptional from Laura who coordinated the event to the bar staff, reception, the cleaning staff who gave my little nephew cookies on the house and Pierre who gave my partner a shirt coz he forgot his 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just an overall lovely experience, we were made feel so special. Would highly recommend The Dylan for a wedding x

27/07/2026: Went here recently after a trip with my brother , niece and her friend. I must say the atmosphere and vibe of the place is really cool and immediately we were excited for a drink and some food. Unfortunately the staff didnt exactly make us feel at home and the thing that was worse was it seemed like a quiet day with not too many customers but we waited 50+ minutes for our food to arrive.. in that time not a word was said to us about the wait or anything and mind you my niece and her friend simply ordered kids pasta with tomato sauce and we ordered burgers. When the food finally came we thought they were bang average for the price theyre listed. At last when we were leaving, no thank you no goodbye or nothing was said to us just looked at us leave, Im not the type to leave a negative review but this experience just left a bad taste in our mouth

26/07/2026: I really wanted to love this place because the idea of a dog-friendly restaurant is fantastic. As a dog owner, I appreciate being able to bring my dog with me and enjoy a meal together. It is a wonderful concept and something that more places should offer. However, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and the quality of the food. I completely understand that a restaurant welcoming dogs may not have the same level of cleanliness as a place where dogs are not allowed, but this was beyond that. The restaurant felt very dirty — there were large cobwebs in the corners near our table, and the overall cleanliness was not acceptable. I also have a dog at home and I know it is possible to have a clean environment while having pets around. Unfortunately, the food was also a let-down. I ordered a pizza, but it was more like a pale flatbread with toppings placed on top rather than a properly prepared pizza. The chicken and olives did not feel well combined with the dish, and the overall quality was very disappointing. I really hope the owners take this feedback positively, because the idea behind the restaurant is great. With more attention to cleanliness and food quality, this place could be something really special for dog lovers.

29/05/2026: We just had the most amazing meal for my daughter’s confirmation. Our first time here. What we didn’t expect was the extra little touches. Personalised menu, a personalised dessert and a gorgeous little confirmation bag when leaving. The service was amazing as was the food and the staff were unbelievable. Friendly, attentive and nothing was an issue. Absolutely no hesitation in giving this restaurant a five star and also we will return and recommend.

26/05/2026: Always knew the food was good here but when we had a communion and confirmation lunch they went above and beyond . Food was fab- plenty of room even though the restaurant was full and staff were amazing. We had members of our party that were late! But we were never rushed or put under pressure. Made a huge effort of the kids with personalised Menus ( was not expecting that) desserts and small gifts celebrating the occasaion- would 100% recommend

30/04/2026: We stopped in here for a drink and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere. The Barman was attentive and the service was excellent. Although we did not have food, what we saw served looked excellent.

29/05/2026: Was only in this pub last night after the Ireland match and When I tell you my experience was the most unpleasant ever it would make it hard to believe. Looks like a nice cosy pub on the outside but on the inside is like a war zone between the owner and his staff/customers. The owner thinks it’s okay to give out to a young man helping him in front of the whole pub. Shouting at him to come in from outside and proceeding to shout at him about how to put glasses in a tray which he had already done. The owner proceeded to leave behind the bar and told the young man to take for a pint, after not hearing the owner the worker asked him what he had said and the owner proceeded to spell it out for him like he was a simpleton. I was really put out by this and so were many others. The young man was trying to do his best in a not so busy pub yet get put down in front of everyone. The Owner is nothing but a bully and the young man should leave! On the way out my mate gave him a tip in front of the owner and we hope it made his night
