15/08/2025: We ordered the taco fries and lasagne. I was very impressed with the large portion size and the taco fries were marvelous. The interior was pretty and baby facilities were decent. Staff were helpful.

22/10/2025: We are here for the Opera Festival and Simon’s is the place to go after the evening performances. It’s clearly where all the cast and crew go afterwards which makes for a great atmosphere. And btw the beer choice is astonishing. Love the Vocation and Iron Bru options!

19/10/2025: Loved this cosy place and the food was wonderful. Servers work as a team and on a busy evening we barely waited for dinner. I would have liked another Guinness but too busy to check I suppose. We will be back!

18/10/2025: Rude owner bought some stuff from her shop the a few days ago i gave her €20 and when it came for her to give my change i held out my hand which she clearly saw and passed it by and dropped the money on the table lile i had a disease never again.

16/10/2025: We absolutely loved our visit to Ann McDonald’s Café & Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we could tell this was a special local spot. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of friendly faces — always a good sign when you see plenty of locals enjoying their meals. Everything is made fresh daily — Ann and her team even cook their own ham each morning. The traditional toastie with fresh baked ham and vegetable soup was simply perfect — flavorful, hearty, and comforting. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann McDonald herself, who personally brought our food to the table. She has owned and operated this restaurant for over 30 years, and it shows in every detail — her hospitality, pride, and the homey feel she’s created. She made our family feel completely at home, like we were visiting old friends. The location is also ideal — just a quick 5-minute walk from the Dunwoody Ship Experience, so it’s a perfect spot to stop for lunch before or after your visit. Ann’s restaurant is everything you hope to find when traveling — authentic, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. We could not recommend it more highly!

28/09/2025: We came here with a group of friends during our Ireland roadtrip and this dinner was one of our highlights! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were amazing. We had about 7 different courses each with unique flavors and ingredients. We loved all of them! The restaurant itself is super cozy and you can tell the decoration has just as much love in it as the food. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Ireland!

12/10/2025: Great Pub great location if you want a quick bite before going on the ferry . You can park your camper for free if you buy food and drink there .

28/10/2025: Really disappointing visit here recently. Waited ages for someone to take our order, and then waited ages for anyone to come back after we had finished our sandwiches. Ended up flagging a server down for a look at a dessert menu, and then ended up waiting another 15 minutes for them to come back. We just ended up forgetting about the desserts as we were fed up being passed by continually, left disappointed. Some very friendly workers there yes, but some inexplicably 'absent' ones too.

06/11/2025: Such a fantastic amenity for Carrig on Bannow and for the whole area. Local staff, local produce. Staff are amazing, the food is delicious. Highly recommend. If you’re in the area, this is where you must eat! Not essential to book a table, but at busier times, it can be helpful.

13/10/2025: Wonderful experience from start to finish at Table forty One. Staff were friendly welcoming, attentive & informative. The food was second to none. We had confit duck & rack of pork, both cooked to perfection by chef Andrew Duncan. I don't normally do reviews but this place is special. Athmosphere was lively yet comfortable & laid back. Prices are spot on for the quality of food & service given, which is rare these days. Well done to all concerned, great work. Thank you.

19/10/2025: I couldn't get good review from google about this place. Most food photos were lunch or breakfast. I was looking for to have dinner there. I went and gave them a try. Absolutely delicious food. Served all day. Staff working there nice ,polite and smiling. I go back there again when im around. Well done Bailey and staff 👏!!!!

01/10/2025: Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Irish National Heritage Park (also wonderful!) with my mom and dad, who can be a little picky. We all really liked it and the portions were huge, making it a great value. Also the service was spot on. I really liked the haddock! Recommend checking it out for a quiet, comfortable, simply lovely experience.
