20/09/2026: Swinging through New Ross on our way south we had a wonderful lunch here. Ann was a breath of fresh air, bouncing between tables and meeting all our needs. Good food, great place and amazing service!

08/09/2026: Came here fairly late on a Tuesday (I think) night in February 2025 - was in Wexford for 1 night for work. The pub was quiet as you might expect given the time. For a time there was only myself and the landlord there but we had a brilliant chat and before I knew it I was a few pints deep. The range of beers was top class. Wish I'd been in earlier for food. Would have gone back if I'd had the opportunity to.

28/09/2026: Great food and excellent service - couldn’t ask for more. Complimentary breads to pre start - followed by a charcuterie board to share with selection of meats sourced from their Italian supplier - delicious. Fillet steak and chicken supreme for mains were exceptional - and their veg was so fresh. Highly recommended if you want to eat in Gorey. Staff service was 5 star.

20/09/2026: Wow, Wow, Wow…incredible food and service. We went there for lunch, my OH had seen the venison pie online and he was so upset when the lovely waitress said that it was still in the oven - it would not be available for another hour…after a tete a tete ..he settled on the fish and chips …he is still taking about the “best Fish and Chips ever” nearly 2 days later. This is a true gem of a restaurant on the main street of Gorey….well done to chef..he does not use microwave “ding, ding” everything was cooked from scratch with good quality ingredients…what a wonderful experience - we will be back (for the venison pie)

27/08/2026: Passed by so many times over the years but stopped yesterday! What a great meal, monkfish/scampi starter was excellent, pan fried Hake, superb! We will never pass without stopping in future, highly recommended!

15/08/2026: Didn't reserve - stopped on the off chance after our visit to Hook Lighthouse. Great customer service and delicious food! I had the sirloin - fantastic!

23/09/2026: We had incredibly delicious burgers. The selection of burgers was very large. Salad was also available as a side dish instead of fries. Good selection of wines. Outdoor seating was available.

09/09/2026: Where to even start! The food was absolutely incredible. The menu is extensive but they do it all very well. The seafood is amazing. Hands down the best place around for seafood at least. Everything cooked to perfection. A gem of a restaurant. The staff is so nice and attentive. I had a lovely cocktail. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of free parking. Can't wait to go back. My friend and I went on a Tuesday for dinner and decided to make a reservation...not sure if it was needed but it was pretty busy.

09/08/2026: Food was very good. Table service was good (I wouldnt say very friendly but good) and food was served in a good time. The atmosphere was a bit strange, hard to pinpoint, but the gentleman who I assume was the owner seemed a bit worked up and was rushing around the place giving orders, which I found a bit annoying. Overall good experience.

02/08/2026: Had a beautiful brunch here after visiting the farmers market. My husband raved about the coffee and the bacon- some of the best he’s ever had!

16/09/2026: We had such an incredible experience at the Bailey! We booked for our party of 16 and, from the start, everyone was so kind. Our servers made a special day even more incredible with their kindness and great banter. The food was top notch, including some of the best vegetable soup I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again! Special thanks to Aaron for being an entertaining and attentive waiter!

17/09/2026: First of all the service was very good, nice atmosphere, I had the prawn fish box my husband had the haddock fish box, these came with chips which were very nice mushy peas and tartar sauce, I picked the prawns out of the batter as it was so thick, the prawns were ok, the haddock was very over cooked, such a shame, my husband did say it to the lady when we were leaving, a shrug of the shoulders and you should have said earlier was the reply. Reading the reviews maybe we were in the wrong chipper.

02/05/2026: Incredibly tasty food and accomodating staff. I think its fair to say it is the best food in Gorey. The Smokie (starter) is a particular favourite of mine there.

07/10/2026: Fantastic place definitely be back ,but not dog friendly, but we were allowed in the beer garden with our doggie Holly, so we had a drink and went back to our camper ,no atmosphere in the beer garden ,but it was beautiful done

04/09/2026: Very good. Excellent service pleasant company. But please stop asking these questions before I've even sat down. Its irritating and doesn't allow the business ample time to impress. I know I could review it later but delay the sending. No sooner had I crossed the threshold I was being approached by Google. Stop it Big Brother. It irritates and makes me feel I'm being followed.
