24/07/2026: Absolutely loved my visit to Ann McDonald’s Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sandwich was so tasty and generously filled, and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time – rich, smooth, and perfectly made. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast. It’s such a lovely, cosy place with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

16/08/2026: The best fish ever. Wanted everything in the menu but ended up having the curry as the table next ordered and it smelled really good. It was thr best curry I ever had

15/08/2026: Went for our Anniversary. Massively busy place but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The staff were so nice & friendly! Food was delicious. Husband had the lobster and did think there could have been more lobster. I however had sea bass and there was lots! Great bar tenders as well.

01/08/2026: We went for dinner with the family for the Friday Indian Night and it was absolutely incredible. We were treated to a selection of Indian dishes, from starters and mains to desserts, and every single one was unbelievable. You can genuinely tell how much time, care and effort goes into making the food, and it really comes through in the flavour. The presentation was beautiful, the service was brilliant, and the whole evening was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

18/07/2026: We went for dinner here and were quite pleased with it. I've tasted a lot of pulled pork in my life, and genuinely think the pulled pork here is one of the nicest I've ever had. Generous portions, and the staff were extremely friendly. Prices were good for the amount of food we received too.

27/06/2026: We had a fantastic lunch here today. Coffee was beautiful aswell. Free lunch plate of fruit and vegetables for our 9 month old baby was really appreciated. Great spot and definitely a place to stop in while you're in Gorey.

29/07/2026: This Restaurant is outstanding. The fish here is so fresh you can taste the salt from the sea. We ordered Black Sole and received two on each plate, an abundance of vegetables and potatoes accompanied the dish.

09/08/2026: Food was very good. Table service was good (I wouldnt say very friendly but good) and food was served in a good time. The atmosphere was a bit strange, hard to pinpoint, but the gentleman who I assume was the owner seemed a bit worked up and was rushing around the place giving orders, which I found a bit annoying. Overall good experience.

02/08/2026: Had a beautiful brunch here after visiting the farmers market. My husband raved about the coffee and the bacon- some of the best he’s ever had!
