06/01/2026: My son has a serious allergy and I am nervous trying new restaurants but Stephen, who looked after us in Mary Barry's was incredible. Listened and reassured me that his order was suitable. I immediately relaxed and was able to enjoy the evening with family and friends, the food and atmosphere was great but I could only truly enjoy it because Stephen was so attentive. Would highly recommend Mary Barry's. Great team run by Gordon. Thank you so much ☺️

09/01/2026: First time eating here today had the Smashed avocado, crispy bacon, 2 poached eggs on toasted sourdough. Two words Totally Excellent. Very pleasant welcome, great service and nothing a trouble. Highly recommend and will visit again for sure when I'm in the area. A+++++

03/01/2026: I would have given then more stars if I could. Honestly we've been coming here since the day they opened in that small corner in the beginning. The food has always been incredible, and the staff are so so kind. Today we brought one of our dogs, it was my first time in there since getting a wheelchair and our dogs firdt time as well and they went above and beyond for us. Honestly they could not have been better. They checked with me a few times to see if I was comfortable with the table height if if I wanted to move or if they could do anything for me . I struggle with going new places with the wheelchair incase it doesn't fit or is difficult to access tables etc. So I was a bit nervous today because lunch time is always so busy for them but today they were just wonderful. Nothing felt like too much of an ask and as always the food was delicious.

14/12/2025: I came here under the impression that there were good vegan options but was extremely disappointed. The staff were nice but had no real idea what was or wasn't vegan and brought me non-vegan things to eat on a few occasions. I relayed this in an email to management, merely suggesting that they do a taste test with vegans to understand what we actually eat and like and to train their staff. I got a pretty abrupt and defensive response. Very disappointing.

01/10/2025: Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Irish National Heritage Park (also wonderful!) with my mom and dad, who can be a little picky. We all really liked it and the portions were huge, making it a great value. Also the service was spot on. I really liked the haddock! Recommend checking it out for a quiet, comfortable, simply lovely experience.

12/12/2025: Four of us had food here the other day.I really enjoyed my trio of fish.It was so fresh.The others thought the food was just ok,except the chowder which was described as poor. At the end of the night I asked the barman for a lge bottle of white lemonade.It cost €5 for a 1.25 litre.I thought this was a bit dear and he said well I can always keep it and make even more money selling dashes(I thought that was a little smart)Apart from him the staff were really nice.All the girls serving behind the bar and serving the tables were really good,made sure you were looked after and checked if you needed anything.They were also helpful in telling me about the area. Next day Because of the barman and the quality of the food we had something to eat elsewhere.While the same price,the food was much better.The place is fine for a pint and a chat with the staff(the friendly ones) but Im sorry we forked out over €200 for food and drinks when we would have gotten better nearby.

03/01/2026: Ones of the locals recommended this restaurant while I was in Enniscorthy. Very cosy establishment. Polite staff. I ordered the soup of the day and the chicken stir fry. For my pallet the chicken stir was a bit to sweet. But that would not stop me coming back again. Reasonable prices.
