15/12/2024: Wow! What a find! We went in to pick up a bottle of wine, an immediately was taken back to how shops/cares used to be. Friendly staff, and the scone was really nice 👌 A1. So good, went back the very next day. Scones are awesome! Highly recommended 👌

17/11/2024: Food wasn't great as we were recommend this place by a few of the locals, rib meat could have been done for alot longer, no falling off the bones on our visit anyways.

17/11/2024: What an absolute gem of a place. The food is always delicious and the choice if your plant based, vegetarian or have food intolerances is amazing 🤩 it's so popular there's always a queue to get in but it moves pretty quickly. Totally recommend if you're heading anywhere near gorey ❤️

13/11/2024: Really lovely burger joint. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent choice on the menu and food was superb. Kudos to the chef for an excellent balance of flavours. Served by a wonderful waiter named Ryan, who is a credit to the profession! He had a perfect balance of charm and chats yet graced with an impeccable sense of timing of when to serve or leave in peace. Rare quality these days 👏 one slight downfall to the meal was a curious lack of tea choice to finish. No herbal teas whatsoever? Not even a peppermint. Very odd in these days! It's a low priced commodity with a long shelf life, so hardly something that would break the bank to have. And I was not the only customer to ask either...all in all though, I would heartily recommend this place. I will be back!

18/10/2024: We are regularly at the Red Door. Today we celebrated a very special day, and the Red Door pulled out all the stops. We had planned a 'reception lunch for 8, thinking in the main cafe but they changed their courtyard into a fairytale setting for us. The service food and the ambience is second to none. Thank you all for making our 'low key' day something very special.

30/09/2024: I've heard alot of people recommending this place so finally decided to give it a go once and for all. Welcomed in the minute we entered and shown to our seats. Both got a full breakfast and which both were lovely. The fry also came with a bowl of chips on the plate which is different than most places. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

03/12/2024: a lovely setting within the garden centre we had just tea and fresh apple tart the staff were great jusrt a bit rushed off their feet after a very busy breakfast rush.

24/11/2024: We have been here a number of times for breakfast, lunch and Sunday dinner and we couldn't fault anything. The food is amazing, full of flavour and decent portions. The staff are friendly and efficient, we are never waiting long for our food. Because of this I took my daughter for afternoon tea while she was home from Vancouver and we were not disappointed. It was outstanding!! I have a food allergy and had mentioned this while booking and it was no problem at all. Every bit of the afternoon tea from the welcome when we arrived to allowing us to enjoy our chat and delicious food in a relaxed way was fantastic. The price was also very reasonable. A huge thank you to the staff. Highly recommend! And we'll be back many times

09/11/2024: What a fabulous restaurant! Despite the limited menu I still struggled to decide what dishes I wanted - I wanted them all! We had 3 courses each and every single plate was perfection. My husband chose the signature fillet steak for his main course and it did not disappoint. The smoked bacon jam should be sold in jars! There is a small but excellent wine list too. The quality of food was matched by the service, with Mark expertly looking after every diner on the floor. He was attentive without being intrusive and despite being so busy remained calm and pleasant throughout. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely return.

05/11/2024: AVOID FOOD POISONING AVOID - FOOD POISONING Had a meal here ended up with Food Poisoning Woke in middle of night following the meal in severe severe pain and vomiting 🤮 GP confirmed food poisoning- was unwell for a week after This was my experience Avoid at all costs
