18/10/2024: We are regularly at the Red Door. Today we celebrated a very special day, and the Red Door pulled out all the stops. We had planned a 'reception lunch for 8, thinking in the main cafe but they changed their courtyard into a fairytale setting for us. The service food and the ambience is second to none. Thank you all for making our 'low key' day something very special.

10/11/2024: I tried this cute little place in Gorey for breakfast. The breakfast closes at 12. We were a little late, so we tried their lunch. I had fish wrap, which was so fresh and crunchy. I also tried their pancakes, which were oh soooo delicious. They had to be the star of the place. Next was Omelette with goat's cheese and pesto. It was very fluffy and appetising as well. I had the soup of sweet potato and squash. The service was very nice. The staff is really nice and hospitable I would definitely be coming back again.

15/09/2024: Came in here at 12.10 and asked for a breakfast, was told breakfast finished at 12. Which is fine, rules are rules but don’t find it very customer focused! Ordered a sandwich which stated it had an egg on it. When ordering I asked if it had mayo, it had egg mayo. I asked could I not have egg mayo and just cook an egg to put on it. This request was very oddly denied. Seems bizarre that a kitchen couldn’t cook an egg. Service leaves a lot to be desired! A pity as I’ve had good experiences here in the past!

30/09/2024: I've heard alot of people recommending this place so finally decided to give it a go once and for all. Welcomed in the minute we entered and shown to our seats. Both got a full breakfast and which both were lovely. The fry also came with a bowl of chips on the plate which is different than most places. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

29/10/2024: Myself and my husband were visting friends from Enniscorthy who had booked a table for us for Saturday 26th October. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly and were well informed of all the dishes. One of our friends is vegan and they really catered for her. Both of us had the cauliflower starter with chilli & lime mayo (vegan-friendly for her) and asian slaw. I was never a cauliflower lover but I am more inclined now to try it going forward. It's one of the best starters I have eaten in a long time and I'm a meat eater. The steak and accompaniments were delicious and I had the cheese board. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope that we get to go again when we are down visiting in the future.
