The best restaurants in Killarney

15/08/2026: A great atmosphere, typical Italian pizza with Italian ingredients. A taste of Italy in Ireland. I highly recommend it. Great pizza, excellent service, and a small but charming place. A must-visit on the Ring of Kerry.

13/08/2026: Would honestly say this is one of the best pizza places in the country! Such a warm welcome every time and the highest quality ingredients making the most fabulous pizzas! Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had aswell!

18/07/2026: We stumbled upon the last restaurant on the main street, and what a pleasant surprise! The dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced – we had a wonderful meal!

15/06/2026: Vendrick’s is an awesome spot!! Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You Angie & Emma), wonderful wine list, and a delicious menu. Everything is masterfully prepared, but our favorite bites are their Irish Cheese Board, and their Prawns Pil Pil

24/08/2026: Both the whiskey and the gin ice cream and the service were excellent.

16/08/2026: Never expected to encounter the best customer service I've ever experienced at an ice cream shop, but all the staff here are so friendly and warm, they go above and beyond to make your quick stop memorable. The ice cream is also incredible. We came back for more of the Irish brown bread and Strawberry.

21/08/2026: The food was good but expensive. I came here on my honeymoon and made a reservation/ reached out to arrange something small beforehand. Happy to pay for it as well. Was told I would have prosecco at the table and this request was not honored when we arrived. I mentioned both my name and that I was here on my honeymoon upon arrival. Nice place for dinner, but would not recommend for special occasions or celebration.

16/08/2026: We hosted my daughter's engagement dinner here during a vacation to Ireland back in 2011, and we still talk about the meal to this day. The steaks were hands-down the best we have ever had. The fact that we still remember every bite 15 years later says everything you need to know about the quality here—simply unforgettable! Thank you

14/08/2026: We booked a table for dinner and were served perfectly. I still recommend booking ahead, as the restaurant (even though it's tucked away in an alley) can get very full. The value for money is excellent. The meal was fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend the ribeye steak (Irish beef), cooked exactly as I wanted it, and its size impressed me. My partner had the leg of lamb, which was fantastic. We shared the cheesecake of the day, which was an excellent way to end the evening. No complaints whatsoever; the ribeye steak was perfect and speaks volumes about the excellent quality of the food. The staff were equally pleasant and attentive while still giving us plenty of space. We will definitely return on our next trip to Killarney.

21/08/2026: Even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed, they welcomed us and found a place for the two of us. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly, and the food is prepared with care and tradition. The meat is excellent, as is the service. Thank you for having us!

03/08/2026: We were surprised how tasty and how fast we got our orders. Genuinely, the best pizza you can get in the country ❤️❤️ Whenever we are passing by, we always get 1 or 2 pizzas. BEST BEST BEST!!! ❤️❤️❤️

01/08/2026: Pizza was Delicious though the shop was closed and he was cleaning. He was happy to serve us as everything was closed. Those gestures are really hard to find. Great experience

24/06/2026: We had an amazing stay at the Great Southern for two nights. A fabulously beautiful hotel with great service, right in the town centre. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.. such a treat.. thoroughly enjoyed.

08/06/2026: Beautiful hotel and great friendly and professional service from all. It was such a pleasure to spend a few days here. Food was excellent and the location is perfect for walking around Killarney. right beside the train station too if you don't have a car.

11/08/2026: An old-fashioned Irish pub, with both meat and seafood, tasty fish. We'll skip the pasta, but we're not in Italy, so we'll make do. Excellent beer, classic Irish pub selection. Quick and competent service.

17/08/2026: Great time here for dinner. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for a more touristy location. The real stars go to Oisin and Connor for a fantastic live music set-great musicians, involving the audience and creating a great atmosphere.

16/08/2026: Had lunch here on a recent trip to Killarney. Have been before, but this time had our young family with us (6yr old and 3mth old). Staff could not have been more accommodating. Did nit have a booking for Wednesday, lunchtime. Husband had wings, which were delicious. I had crab and smoked salmon open sandwich, which was generous in portion size and so fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere in the pub. The servers were fantastic. Highly recommend!
