The best restaurants in Limerick

27/02/2025: Went here after a night out, the man on the tills charged us €30 for a pizza , kebab, 2 mozzarella sticks and 2 cokes. We got our kebab and pizza straight away and waited 10 mins for the rest. I had to go up to him and ask for the rest of the food and he tried to recharge us. I had to pull up my bank statement and he gave us our cokes and rest of food. Then after 2 minutes of sitting down finishing our food he tried to kick us out. He got the bouncer to kick us out even though we didn’t finish our food. Don’t go to this dirty greasy place better off eating dirt off the street of Limerick €30 for food and the fella was shouting at my friends to get out and we still had a rake of food infront of us?

13/04/2025: We have visited The Good Room many times and most of the time the food is very good. There’s good choice on the menu and something for everyone. However, the service is an issue unfortunately. It takes far too long to order , we’ve often had to wait a good 15/20 mins after seating and then have to go get a waitress ourselves or try to get the attention of one. It’s a pity because as mentioned the food is consistently good but poor service leaves a bad taste I’m afraid.

16/03/2025: Was delighted to try this cafe after hearing such positive things about it. My friend and I both ordered the pulled chicken on flat bread. We were both dissatisfied with the quality of chicken. All we got was the grey meat. Afterwards we both felt gawkey thinking about it. For the price charged I would have thought there would be some white chicken! Not sure if I would go back again after this unless it was for a vegetarian option!

19/02/2025: Way too overpriced for everything that comes from it. You will get disappointed for sure. The pizza is tasteless, and the garlic dip is extremely sour. The garlic bread is dry like the Sahara desert and even more tasteless than the pizza. The only good thing that came out of this is the Ben and Jerry's that I ordered. Just not worth the money honestly.

13/01/2025: Will never ever order from them again waited long for my online order which never came,and when I called them they said they tried calling me when the delivery driver was at the door all lies as no calls came through,and then the lady on the call tried convincing me not to cancel!!!!

09/03/2025: Thank you for pizza 🍕, it was delicious! I had just paid for a dinner across the road that I couldn’t eat. The quality of the food was so so poor! I wasn’t asked why I didn’t eat it and then was charged full price! I had had pizza here once before a few months back and was very satisfied and wow was I so thankful 🙏 to have you guys open! Service great - flexible options for what toppings I wanted. Pizza was freshly made. Customer care = excellent. They were busy ( always a good sign ) and my pizza had been a little longer done than they would normally serve. I don’t mind that at all but I REALLY APPRECIATE that I was asked before I was served it was it to my approval. I imagine if I had said not quite there would have been no problem making me another. It was perfect for me. Thank you very much! I was starving 🫣 the food and customer care was perfect. Will be back & recommend- great job guys 🙌🏻 ( and even with the phone orders being mental! That’s good team work !)

17/03/2025: I have ate food from this restaurant numerous of times and was tasty but ordered the spice bag lately to try and was inedible it was so salty would make you feel sick, the chips also tasted reheated. One of my favourite restaurants for a long time so very disappointed

23/01/2025: Surprised to say the least at the way a member of staff was treated. The way she was spoken was awful and to see her crying and still crying close to an hour later when we were leaving was so sad I thought the days of bullying in the workplace was long gone. I would be a regular customer but no more

20/04/2025: We were asked to leave after spending an hour and a half in the back section. I asked for a valid one reason as to why we were couldn't stay, and they couldn't provide one

17/04/2025: If you are in the area it is worth a visit here. Great atmosphere and also live music if you're lucky.

14/02/2025: I'm being generous giving a 1 Star, food was late, wrong order no drinks, order vegan pizza had meat on it and chicken, ordered a pizza looked like someone's finger was smudged in it, didn't get my curry chip either, the 2 pizzas were mixed with different orders, Pizza was cold chips were cold normally good, but lately getting worse, I wouldn't be surprised if the delivery drivers friends who where in the car had my 2 drinks and curry chip, very upset,

24/04/2025: Got spice bag takeaway, chips very obviously were left over and refried multiple times, so disgusting. Barely any chicken and the chicken that was there were skinny little bits that weren’t crispy at all

30/03/2025: The most ignorant staff in all of Ireland rang for the buffet said it was finished at 5 came at 4.45 refused me and told me there was no tables for normal sit down when I could clearly see tables free stoped going there because of the ignorance it’s not normal

31/12/2024: Ordered a 4 in 1 it said it would come with chicken rice and chips and curry but instead I got doner meat and chips and curry. Absolutely disgusting food woulf not recommend at all . Also ordered 3 cooking received one and a half with what looked liked a bit taking out of one of my cookies . This was disgraceful do not order Waste of time and massive waste of money

14/12/2024: The workers are absolutely so rude. They said my delivery would be 10 minutes. It took almost an hour and the food was cold.

24/01/2025: Ordered here today, only to get home and discover 6 pieces of chicken missing and a burnt pizza. Disgusting service. Stay away.

15/12/2024: Had a doner kebab meal from a spot in town, and it was absolutely brilliant! The portion size for the price is unmatched—haven’t come across anything like this in Ireland. The staff were super friendly too. Came back the next day with a colleague, and we tried the mixed kebab meal—loved it just as much. Highly recommend this place!

18/05/2025: The guys just told me ' sorry, not tonight ' I tried asking why but they just kept quiet and a few (more than 10) white people walked past by me and went in, no questions. My conclusion was that it was just a racist thing. I know they reserve the right but they should just be honest about it.

13/05/2025: We were appropriately dressed and Had a reservation with a friend… as soon as we arrived the bouncer just looked at us and told us ‘not today’, we tried asking why, and telling him we had a reservation but he didn’t even look our way and said ‘not today’. Walked a few steps ahead and found another man who was Latin American and had a Black friend and they were also refused entry to the same place. It felt so disgusting and discriminatory , but we didn’t let it dampen our mood, we went to another joint and had an amazing time..avoid this place especially if you’re a foreigner.
