01/11/2025: I love this place food is 10 10 delivery is so quick and staff are the nicest people

13/10/2025: Called in driving through limerick late at night. Very close to closing time so restaurant was empty but staff were lovely and spice bag was delicious and a curry sauce was included it was brilliant. Massive portion too

02/08/2025: Got a vegetarian kebab. There were pieces of meat in it. I returned to the shop, the staff were rude and disinterested, denied that it was chicken. Wouldn't give refund. Cost 10 euro. Terrible customer service.

01/08/2025: Service was ok, friendly staff and quick enough with the order, but very disappointed with the food itself. The "fresh" cod meal was nowhere near good enough. The batter on the cod just wasnt nice at all and left an awful after taste. Removed the batter and just tried the cod, but it had absolutely no flavour so i do not believe it was fresh. Chips were a decen size portion but just didn't taste nice at all. €14 for a meal that i had to throw out about 75% of it into the bin. Very disappointed overall.

07/09/2025: I ordered food here for delivery at 18:04. I tracked my order. My order was dispatched for delivery at 18:38. The driver drove into Dromroe. I rang the place then at 18:49 to say that the driver drove into the wrong estate. Food arrived at 18:52. It was hard because I took off the mozzarella cheese by mistake. I ate the pizza though and it was delicious. It was my first time ordering here so if I ever order again, I will add mozzarella cheese

04/11/2025: Popped in today for a cappuccino and sausage roll and my dad had tea and cheesecake and it was very nice, will definitely return 😋

23/09/2025: I came at 5:23 and the doors were locked despite them supposedly being open until 5:30.

15/11/2025: St. Johns is a very good hospital. Nice Nurces and you are not waiting hours in the Emergency. Compare to Dooradoyle UHL where, I have impression that ANE staff is doing trafic on purpose. You are wating in UHL ages for simple things like blood pressure tablet or quick check up. My friend with high blood pressure 230/123 refferd by his GP, got one medication to lower the pressure, after 6 hours waiting. But he got it just because his daughter started the argument with Zone A staff after 6 hours nonsens wating. He supposed to be check for blood pressuer after one hour off the tablet and again there was noone to do it. He was completly ingnored same as other patents wating. So again his daugher has to have argument with the staff members to make them to check his blood pressure. Here I have to highlight that Emergency department has only two blood pressure maschines and plently of nurses that wodernig around without any sense. Some of them have really lost faces, like they do not know where they are and what to do. Offcourse, the nurse who did the check up didn not mention a word to the patient, the daughter has to ask her how it is. So they have been told that the pressure is still high and in a moment the doctor will talk to them. After 8,5 hours spended in that hospital they left, as there was no doctor who had will to talk to them. So, if they are saying to you that "in a moment doctor will talk to you", you can be sure that this moment will last about 2 hours or more. They are ignorants whith dramatcally ogranside work, big mess behind the doctors desk in Zone A. Absolutley bad managemet and people who shouldn't work there at all, as this patent could be treated within max 1,5hour if the medication would be given to him at the beginning when he arrived there, and if would be there one doctor who would serve only the patients marked green in their messy system. There is no need to keep people for 12 or more hours only to give them tblets or simple check up. That is causing only bigger traffic and doctors pretending that they are so very bussy. To be fer there was only one doctor who apperd really work doing things like he should. So if you need to go to Emergency go to St. John's, as Dooradyle UHL is a one disaster.

02/10/2025: I was treated at the local injury unit for a facial wound that needed stitches. Dr. Azza was brilliant, very professional and reassuring. The whole team was great, kind and helpful. I’m very grateful for the care I received and wish them all the best.

06/08/2025: I’ve been to this Maxol location quite a few times. The customer service is always great, and the coffee and food are consistently good. However, the dining area really needs attention it’s often quite filthy and not well-maintained. It takes away from the overall experience. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the cleanliness of the eating area, because everything else is on point.

16/05/2025: Visited regularly May 2025 when attending the local hospital. big clean modern Service Station and shop with food counter and sit down Café. But today I found a " " hidden gem " Their Toilets at back of shop ...the disabled one is really best ever clean, roomy, disabled bars, low level hand basin with mirror, regular basin/mirror, powerful hand drier and large easy use paper dispenser. Really everything.and spic & span with check record of cleaner on door. HAVE NOT SEEN BETTER. Made my day.

24/09/2025: Food tastes good and the prices are good but after ordering, i did have to go back to change an item that was wrong only again to find when i got home that instead of the chicken burger i ordered with nothing on, i had been given a beef burger with everything in it. the burger was even labelled wrong so i didnt even think to open and check. Burger was still good but not what i ordered at all.

19/09/2025: I tried a chicken burger from Locke Burger and it was really good. The fries and price were okay, but the customer service was great.

17/11/2025: The laziest and slowest staff I have ever seen.

12/11/2025: They gave me normal chips and priced it as large cheese fries, then gave me a dip pot of cheese, it wasn't melted on the fries as in usual smacs. Disappointed. No sense of customer service

07/07/2025: There’s a dress code only for women! That’s sexism. I was denied entry just because I was wearing black leggings! Men were even allowed in wearing sweatpants. Pure sexism!!!

13/09/2025: Have been eating from here for 15 years and never have had an issue. Staff are always so pleasant and welcoming. Food is always reliable and definitely has the best chicken and cheese rolls around.

21/09/2025: I phoned in for delivery women on phone said 40mins came two hours phoned backed women said sorry do u mind waiting 20mins said if it doesn't come in 20mins il phone back cancel it, yup 20mins came no sign of delivey ring back women on phone can u wait 10mins are they havin a joke cancelled the food and wel never ordered from this place again

06/09/2025: The owner is incredibly kind, sweet and friendly. So is his staff. I got the döner kebab and it was absolutely massive. Heavy and overwhelmingly stuffed with lamb. This was one of the best value meals I’ve ever gotten. Wish we had something this good in California. Totally recommend, and will definitely come back.

25/09/2025: When you pay over 12 euro for a "Meal" and get these refried chips its not good enough. Couldn't finish the chips as they were greasy/oily. Trying to support locals but I'd have been better off going to Supermacs. Not worth the money.

06/09/2025: This is the measly portion of dry cold fries you get with your €12.50 meal form hungry lions. Barely any sauce on the burger also. What a rip. Stick to Supermacs.

14/05/2025: Food from here is usually 10/10 but very disappointing tonight ordered food at 20 past 8 and didn’t arrive until 5 to 10 ordered the spicebox and it came cold soggy and tasted reheated tried ringing the restaurant and couldn’t get through no apology for the delay either and food had to be binned complete waste of money.
