The best restaurants in Limerick

13/10/2024: Been here a few times and has always delivered tasty food. Wide selection and havent even tried the burgers yet. The BBQ box or falafel (if want veggie option) are both great ways to sample some of the range

13/09/2024: In spite of them not allowing me to host my birthday party on the premises STILL 5 STARS 😋😍😘. Oh and the junkies tapping at the door aren't the worst but still a bit annoying so it really is impressive that this place has such good ratings.

20/07/2024: Chicken burger dry, chips warm, gravy warm,1 piece chicken on the bone warm,nothing hot and can of coke warm . Tenders were fresh though and hot.

02/11/2024: Absolutely shocking and awful behaviour of the manager jenny and Helen towards staff, customers and uber eats driver, was there to have break fast around 10.30am. They were shouting and roaring on staff and uber eats drivers literally felt uncomfortable and having watching bare knuckle fights. My wife and kids wanted to leave half way in the breakfast as younger son burst into cries in the buggy, Once Jenny roars on someone over the window for serving wrong order. Place Absolutely deserve someone from crescent or jetland those 2 place are absolutely credible management. Castletroy never again. Zero star horrible place

11/08/2024: I go here regularly for breakfast. The coffees are beautiful! Breakfast is good the majority of the time, can be a bit hit and miss depending on the chef. If ordering scrambled egg, I'd suggest asking to have it done in the pan as it is usually done in the microwave. Dinners are great value, portions are huge and price is great. The service is great. The waitresses are really friendly and accommodating and are exceptional when you are a regular.

11/08/2024: Amazing beer.and 7up , and nice staff it's huge pity all the junkies / beggar's outside non stop sitting down in private chairs ,. and begging for money non stop in my personal. space. The bouncer did Nothing to send the begggers away , which was so annoying as I was alone with my elderly mom, in disabled parking space outside. Ruined my night out with my elderly mom who is recently a widow . ( The rare night we actually go out ) ! We won't return as we are so scared from the junkies !

30/10/2024: Find this place overly modern and a bit over priced. The coffees are okey but do not stand out compared to other places in Limerick. The food is okey but the same with the prices. It may be better for someone who is more eager to spend a little more for there money, this is also the demographic of people you will find here more often.

26/07/2024: Nicer places to have breakfast/brunch in limerick. Very pricey for what you receive and will charge you extra if you substitute items e.g. €1 for one additional rasher instead of egg, no charge if it costs the same as the egg e.g. avocado/mushroom.

06/08/2024: I rang to place my order and the girl on the phone couldn't have been nicer. She had a pleasant manner and repeated my order to confirm it. I received a text from the Chinese after the call stating I had made an order and I could check what I ordered to make sure it was correct. I think this is a great feature to have as mistakes can sometimes happen with orders. The girl at the counter was very friendly and courteous. She apologised as we had to wait for a few minutes.(I was there early to collect) The food was OK. I had ordered chicken satay, noodles and a spice bag. For me the satay sauce was a bit bland and the chicken wasn't like real chicken breast. The chips in the spice bag were lovely but the crispy chicken was a bit chewy and there was no veg or chilli in it. The prices were also a tiny bit higher than other local Chinese takeaways.

09/08/2024: Great experience! Challenging course (mainly due to wind and greens) but very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered us a reduced rate as it was lata in the day akready. They also gave us some advice on nearby courses that we should play if we have time.

01/10/2024: Our team had the pleasure of dining at the newly refurbished Terrace at UL for our lunch break during the EPS Team Build Day. Upon arrival, Edel and her team had thoughtfully cordoned off a private section for us, complete with four large round tables, ensuring a comfortable and exclusive dining experience. We had pre-ordered our meals, and they arrived promptly once we were all settled. The food was fantastic and very plentiful, with everyone complimenting the delicious dishes. The service was equally impressive; the team at the Terrace were friendly, efficient, and attentive, making sure all our needs were not only met but exceeded. Overall, the Terrace at UL provided an excellent dining experience with great food and outstanding service. Highly recommended for both team events and casual dining!
