The best restaurants in Limerick

25/11/2025: What a lovely, clean and modern place this is. Its the first thing you notice walking in. Impressed that they were open too at 7pm. Doesn't get 5 stars for a few issues. First they weren't taking cash which was annoying because that's how I was going to pay, the food was lovely and tasty however the burrito fell apart easily after a few bites and the fillings were a tad scarce in places but as mentioned place was lively and staff friendly. Will be back..... Edit: This place has gone massively downhill since. Second last trip was ok but still gave it one more chance two weeks back & it was awful. Staff still can't wrap a burrito properly but the fillings were rotten, like I'd to buy a pack of chewing gum and finish the pack to get the awful taste out of my mouth. Most tables were dirty sitting in and the 3 tables opposite me had food left on them and not cleaned off for the 25 mins I was there. Shame but most Boojum franchises seem to be slipping outside of Limerick as well.

05/10/2025: The Alt Pastor Tacos with Chipotle Sour Cream was the best and most flavourful vegan dish I've had at a fast food restaurant. It was actually spicy! I loved it. The store was extremely busy so coming in prepared is recommended.

18/09/2025: Spice bag is basically just a bag of chips, no veg, barely any chicken. Curry sauce very expensive. Bit of a kip.

04/10/2025: Best Chinese food I've had in limerick city area. Always greeted with a friendly smile. Didn't even know this place was here for years but found it by smelling from outside the doctor next door. Inside has a lovely restaurant. Would love it if they had an all you can eat buffet like some of the other places in town to sample the full menu as the food is so good and the restaurant section always seems empty.

03/05/2025: I have passed by Sunflower Bakery a few times in the past and, today, I found out it was to my detrimental coz the food is fabulous. I bought a Rhubarb With Crunchy Crumble topping & a Hazelnut sauce, chocolate éclair. Both were atrociously delicious..., Manna from haven

04/04/2025: Compared with other "bakeries" around, hands down the best in the area! Real sourdough, scrumptious pastries like croissants with different fillings, to die for! Delicious and made from really good ingredients!

16/10/2025: I went on Friday midnight. It was awesome experience. It was bit crowded but perfect atmosphere to enjoy with friends.

28/11/2025: Friendly & welcoming staff. Food is good and portion size generous. Wide choice on the menu. As with all restaurants, seem to only use chicken breastfeeding but chicken curries are invariably better with thigh meat. So opted for lamb madras. Pleasantly spicy but gravy was too thick. All very enjoyable - go for one of the lassi if you don't want beer...

09/11/2025: The Curry House is always fantastic, the food is consistently good and the service from Massum, Danny and Thomas is always so welcoming, warm and attentive. It is always our favourite place to eat, can’t recommend it enough.

06/10/2025: Food was just okay. I ordered chicken satay to start but didn’t eat it as it was tasteless. Tried the chicken curry next, but it was far too spicy and seemed heavy on the pepper. Service was very quick and prices are reasonable, but overall the food lacked flavour.

07/09/2025: We ordered the General Tso's and Sweet & Sour chicken with chips, and once I told them we had a bus to catch they had the food out in a matter of minutes. Very polite & attentive service!

20/11/2025: Very good place, capuccino was good ! A lot of options for sweets and pastries ! Quite small inside but have tables outside.

25/10/2025: We bought two buns today and the wrapper slipped while she was picking up the second one so the girl put it into the box with her bare hands. Then same girl went on about doing her best not to squash it so "we wouldn't be back giving out". Worth going back over basic health and safety with staff. Buns tasted stale

25/10/2025: The food was delicious, but this time the staff really let us down. Not only did they forget the second person's order from an order for two, and I looked stupid just sitting there. The staff also came to other tables several times to ask if everything was okay, but they never came to us. They also brought water to all the other tables multiple times, but we weren't even offered it. The bottom line is the food was good, but the service was a letdown this time!

28/07/2025: Incredible Asian foodie experience at Lana Raheen...I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and prawns and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had! The starter of Bangkok Chicken wings was so so delicious. Overall this was an excellent dining experience...thank you Lana for the superb food. The staff were excellent and extremely attentive.

25/09/2025: Last week I went and got chicken black bean sauce with rice and sweat and sour chicken. It was absolutely amazing it cost almost 40 euros and for that 40 euros they were able to go to the Sahara desert and get the diarrhea of a Ethiopia marathon runner who survived on curry and Bulmers cider since birth. They then put it into a box, managed to get it back to Castletroy and sell it to me for the bargain price of almost 15 euros.

14/09/2025: Got can of coke for 2.50 coke was flat and bearly cold imported from whatever country watch out getting drinks there :/

21/11/2025: The best KFC I had! The staff were friendly and helpful! I tried their new Stranger Things meal, and it was brilliant! I will definitely visit here again! 👍👍
