The best restaurants in Limerick

03/04/2026: What a horrible judgemental owner. I walked into this pub tonight looking a bit worse for wear due to the weather and my outdoor clothing but I was very polite and the owner spoke to me like I was the gum on his shoe. I clearly was not the clientele he desired in his pub. I asked him why he asked me to leave and he told me he did not need to give an answer and to not come back. He then proceeded to escort me to the door. I then went to Collin's bar where I was welcomed , had warm conversations and had such great craic without judgement.

07/02/2026: KFC crescent has one of the rudest staff members I've ever meet, no customer service skills what so ever. Should not be behind a counter dealing with any members of the public with that attitude.

15/03/2026: I must sworn everybody who eats out of this Chinese it’s a total disaster. There’s food is totally gone off and it’s done by microwave and also the staff is very very rude because they’re used to working in massage parlours when they’re not working in the Chinese my opinion on this Chineserubbish when it’s ready and it doesn’t mean it. It’s just pure rubbish and the staff is very very rude complain the food because of a side and we all know what they do there.

15/03/2026: It was not good waited 45 mins for 3 dishes asked for no veg in both and still added it waiter said when she sat us down she would come with the cups and said she still has to wash them would not recommend this

14/03/2026: Splendid, tried a couple of curries, naan and papad - everything was absolutely delicious! Ordered via Just Eat, waited even less than was expected. Would definitely order again

20/09/2025: Place is filthy and the food is rotten Guy on the front counter is extremely rude was standing at the counter waiting for him to look up from his phone to serve me, also overcharging for drinks when price is on the bottle and charging 90c more 😂

28/04/2026: Friendly & welcoming staff. Food is good and portion size generous. Wide choice on the menu. As with all restaurants, seem to only use chicken breast but chicken curries are invariably better with thigh meat. So opted for lamb madras. Pleasantly spicy but gravy was too thick. All very enjoyable - go for one of the lassi if you don't want beer...

10/04/2026: Staff were lovely and welcoming but that food was pretty poor. My wife had pains in her stomach 5 minutes later from the sweet and sour chicken. Deep fried and oily. I'm seriously wondering how someone gave this place 5 stars. The chef must have been on holiday for us. Won't be going back.

17/03/2026: Everything was dry. Rice was hard. Ordered shredded chicken in curry sauce. The sauce came on the side and the portion was so small I had dry rice and just about more than a drizzle of curry on my chicken which was bone dry. The 3in1 was also very dry hardly any curry sauce in it. Worst chinese take away I've ever had. Their response when I called was "ok we will give you a free curry sauce next time" absolutely will NOT be a next time.

15/12/2025: The service is terrible, the staff is unprofessional, when I asked to make coffee in a regular cup instead of a paper one, they said they couldn't because the dishwasher wasn't working... and it's been like this for a whole month!!! Horribly unprofessional!!! A complete lack of service and no pleasure from coffee in this establishment!!! The sockets in the hall still don't work, so there's no way to charge your phone or laptop, and the restroom is always dirty!!! Unfortunately...(((

29/12/2025: I'm was in their last week and the door staff was totally unprofessional and stopped my friend as we go their frequently I was shocked and I mean this I'm not judging him but what would you expect from a 20 year old on a power trip.

26/04/2026: Friendly local pub that i stumbled into. Didn't eat there but the conversation with locals was great!

11/04/2026: A roadside restaurant with unexpectedly delicious dishes. Maybe we were just really hungry 🙂, but the regular lasagna was divinely delicious! I give the service a "four" only because I got lost in the corridors while looking for a toilet 😂, I had to ask those who found it to me 😂. But, again, it's not the restaurant's problem, I went to the kitchen because I was hungry 😉😂

15/05/2026: Food was cold after waiting nearly 20mins for it. Ordered a plain chicken burger and it came out with everything. I went back up with it and then staff tried to confront me with a completely different order from mine and make it out that it was my mistake which wasn’t the case. Children ended up waiting another 10mins for their food so everyone ended up eating at different times from each other which is disappointing after the money we ended up spending

26/08/2025: Recently iv been there , i had a egg fried rice 3 in 1 , i had food poisoning, i couldn't stop vomiting all day had to go to hospital , to get something from a doctor, i will be going to a solicitor to report them. Simular situation happened to a friend of mine today.

05/11/2025: Sandwiches are 10/10. Fantastic staff very friendly.
