The best restaurants in Limerick

01/08/2026: First time here for food. Absolutely amazing. Beautifully presented and full of flavour. Portion size wont leave you hungry thats for sure. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

27/07/2026: We had the most beautiful meal at Vines Ballyneety last Saturday. It was a family gathering after a funeral and I just can’t praise Gerry and team enough. It had been prebooked and from the min we arrived you could see how professional this place is. We were shown to our tables, all were set beautifully. Menus already at each sitting and what a choice there was. It was a three course meal with tea and coffee and whatever drinks we wanted. It was hard to choose from menu as from first glance, I wanted everything that was on the menu. The food was beautifully cooked, and presented on plate. The service from the staff was excellent, asking several times if we were ok for everything, fantastic young people. Lovely comfortable chairs and beautiful views while having your meal, drinks and chat. I was so proud that my American family had somewhere like this to come to for meal and get together with their Irish family. Everything about the place is Hotel quality. Thank you so much Gerry and staff again for making a day that was sad for my family, as comfortable and stress free as possible.

05/09/2026: Quiet place and decent food. The water is very expensive, €4 for a half-liter bottle.

28/08/2026: Loved eating here , got a take away the first time and loved every bit. The Milkshakes are to die for unreal and such good portions would highly suggest going there again!!!

27/08/2026: Very expensive for what I got. Small portions tasteless food. €13.95 for what I would call a snack. I would have got a excellent Chinese takeaway for the price of a burger chip and drink. I won't be back for sure.

07/09/2026: Coffee was only okay and they will charge you an extra 65c if you wish to have milk that didn't come from a cow, and they will also charge you for a takeaway cup even if you have your own keep cup, so for these reasons, I will not be back. Oh and they also don't offer any vegan treats

29/09/2026: We had family come visit us over the weekend, and we chose to take them out to Bambu. We made the right choice, as the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of both Indian and Thai dishes. Some of the dishes I would recommend include: Bambu Beef, Crispy Chilli Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Chicken Tikka Garlic Bhuna. The naans we ordered were very soft and perfectly made. The waiters were very friendly, and asked us about our taste preferences. The food was served in a very timely manner. They also provided poppadoms with various sauces while we waited.

10/09/2026: Price has always been obscene but the coffee was of the highest quality. Today, I was served the worst cup of coffee I've had in 2026. I'd rather the petrol station stuff. Maybe an off day, but for the price its not on. Tasted bitter and burnt, lacked the velvety texture of a good flat white. 5 quid.

30/10/2026: I have visited this place many times and invited friends for dinner, but the staff member on duty was notably rude and appeared to discourage us from dining. Such behaviour can drive customers away permanently, and I felt embarrassed in front of my friends because I have visited this place in the past with positive experiences with food and service. This did not occur tonight; I was there on October 30th at 10:20.

24/06/2026: Nothing to complain about the food or ambience, but a staff member was extremely rude towards me. I bought some food there as takeaway and went to the park. Then, I came back there some time later to buy more, but this time with friends, and I was carrying my rubbish from Zest, additionally a small piece of another one from another shop. I asked a staff lady if it was ok to throw them away in the bin there and she confirmed. When I did so, another staff member (who I believe might be the manager) started shouting at me from behind the counter, making a scene because of the piece of small paper ball that I've put in the bin. It's not if I am right or wrong, but the way he had treated me. I will never go back there.

22/08/2026: I wont be coming here again. I went yesterday with a friend, she couldn't drink he americano coffee it was so bad. My cappuccino was cold. All tables were dirty, I have experienced this almost every time i visit. I went today, against my better judgement. Got 2 flat whites, cold. I asked for it in a cup to have in the store. No saucer, no spoon, its bad that you dont get a spoon and have to use a take away stirrer when not having take away. 4 staff on, all tables dirty. 9 euros for the pleasure. Tired now of over priced bad service. Never going there again. People need to not give custom to places who dont give customer service. Its the only way things will change.

28/05/2026: This Starbucks is always really quick with orders, and my drinks are consistently made well, which I appreciate. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the atmosphere can sometimes feel a little unwelcoming. Some staff members come across as quite serious or not very approachable, which can make the experience feel a bit awkward at times. I understand customer service can be a tough job, but a friendlier atmosphere would make a big difference. Overall, it’s a reliable place for a coffee, and the speed of service is excellent.
