30/06/2026: Good food good prices. Take away only .

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

18/10/2026: Wonderful staff, very cooperative, calm atmosphere with delicious food.

11/10/2026: It’s not ‘Turkish’ grill. It’s not tasty. It’s not something place you would like to eat in. If you have no choice in the night time, go to burger chains, at least you can have a happy stomach in the bed before sleep. Sorry guys, I had a bad experience and never go back again.

28/08/2026: orders were mixed with another order. The delivery guy did not know what the order was, made me check on the road before letting it go.

11/07/2026: Ordering online is a bit clunky to ask for what you want, however going in person costs more. I looked at the menu on Just Eat, saw a large taco chip and a drink was €6.99 so I brought €7 and they wanted to charge me €8 and I said no thanks and left. If anything I would have thought the apps cost more. I know it's only a €1 in difference but I felt off about being charged more in person when I could've just ordered for collection. Now comparing to Uber Eats it is more expensive there. Lovely food, good value, I'm just not going to order it in person anymore.

25/08/2026: Taco fries chips were soft & luke warm , not freshly cooked. Burger bun was twice the size of the chicken breast. Honestly not good at all. Compared to other supermacs, this was dissapointing.

28/09/2026: I ordered lamb kebab and they give shit💩💩💩 kebab, I means all mince no even one piece of nice cut lamb,very disappointed .

18/09/2026: We ordered the chicken & lamb Doner Kabab & really enjoyed the food. Owner is such a nice person. Highly recommended.

03/09/2026: Service just felt was not good today, ordered a coffee which they totally forgot about, had to go up and ask for it with no apologies for the delay and tired charged me again for it. Staff standing around on their phones.

16/10/2026: The pizza at DOH Proper was fantastic, two of us ate there today, we had 1 standard and 1 proper pepperoni, and both were delicious. The pepperoni portion on the pizza was faultless. Some places just don't give enough pepperoni toppings, but not DOH, they were faultless, this was also decorated with a hot honey sauce, which each gave a fabulous mild sweetness to the pizza. We got talking to the owner who is clearly passionate about the pepperoni, the honey, the pizza dough, the rise, the temperature. So great to see someone is really enjoying what they do. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 May sure you order their churros too!

06/10/2026: I wanted to console myself with delicious hot honey pizza on a bad day. Well, well. 35 minutes after I ordered, my order on Deliveroo got cancelled- with no call, no message ahead of time. The restaurant was marked as open. I called- no answer. I presume the restaurant was closed and didn't mark it on their delivery apps- I even checked their ig to give them the benefit of the doubt, in case something happened. Nothing. Extremely disappointing for a well liked local business.

30/09/2026: Absolutely brilliant staff doctors nurses etc but very bad parking for blue badge holders. Highly recommended esp dr Ali dr Sarah Ryan Katie in diabetes sept 2026

20/09/2026: I used to loved bar,but new staff were shockingly bad the Service and atmosphere was brutal.we won't be back.

08/09/2026: Visited during the 30 degree heat wave during the Summer. I was asked to leave because I was wearing shorts. The bouncer let us in without issue, but the barman insisted I'd need to wear pants to return. Given the temperatures, that felt unreasonable. Would have preferred a more flexible approach on a day like that...

20/10/2026: Had a wonderful chicken burger 🍔 on Sunday… it was delicious and homemade 👍

08/09/2026: They weren't wearing gloves while touching and cooking the food 🤮. Worker was scratching himself, touching non sanitary surfaces then put hands on the food being served. Complained to manager to which they responded with "they wash their hands".

12/08/2026: Great service and atmosphere! One of the servers (Geo) had an amazing, infectious positive and friendly energy! Exactly what you look for in a coffee shop!

24/10/2026: Never eaten here again first and last food awfull curry was like water no taste off it wouldent eat here again

14/10/2026: A huge disappointment. I wanted to invite friends over to my place for a small get-together on Saturday and planned to order eight meals plus a few appetizers. Since I’m heading out of town this evening for two days and wouldn't be able to handle it on Friday, I wanted to place the order today and get it sorted out. I was astonished when a young man behind the counter—who was rude and downright insolent—told me that if I wanted an order for Saturday, I’d have to place it on Saturday. When I asked for the manager, he replied that everyone was on vacation, so he was the one in charge—and that was that. Bear in mind, I was looking to spend around €200 here. I decided I wasn't going to pay anyone to do me a "favor." Unfortunately, this place has absolutely no sense of hospitality and shows a complete disregard for the customer. I won't be ordering from here again.

01/11/2026: Had a slow cooked beef curry here and it was melt in your mouth. Service was quick and it was reasonably priced. Would recommend

21/10/2026: The food is delicious. The decor could be better restored to have an Asian feel.
