10/09/2024: 0 rating .The owner should be Ashamed of himself refusing to allow Children in Was going in there with my partner for a quick drink while we had some time to kill had our daughter with us and owner just said no in very ignorant tone of voice Wonder does he realise children are human too and he was once a child himself and children are human beings too It's not first place at that side to do that Made up policy's as usual We been to lots of pubs/bars And they been extremely welcoming so shame on the black swan pub Want learn some manners for someone that is a so called publican Discrimination against kids is not acceptable in this day and age Take good look in mirror for yourself You ignorant man you can't just rewrite the law

05/09/2024: Really fun place, all different types of people having fun together. Music was awesome the night we went. We were all up dancing. Only bad thing, there is only 1 ladies toilet, which means you might be waiting a while.

17/09/2024: It's in a truly beautiful location, lots of Beautiful walks along The Shannon ,great Views and almost Magical Woods. Almost expected a Hobbit to appear. The House/Hotel itself is Lovely. Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help. We had Dinner in the bar, very tasty and lovely dessert. Definitely worth a visit

12/08/2024: I been to a greyhound race, never bet on anything before, never expected to have so much fun doing this. We had the Dinner package reserved and were seated directly at the bid windows of the restaurant, with a great view at the stadium. Before each race, a person came to the table to take our bets - which was very tempting, of course, because it was so easy. So, we did place bets on each of the 11 races that evening - what the heck, we're on vacation, and it was actually a lot of fun to not just only look at the races, but to have something at stake. We predominantly picked the dogs for their names because although there was a booklet with all kinds of information about the dogs, what did we know about all of that? Exactly. We spent 44€ for the bets and actually won 15€ back - totally worth it! And the food was very, very good, too. That was kind of unexpected, but the dinner was of restaurant quality. All in all, a wonderfully fun experience for the whole family!

05/08/2024: Great place if your going out for the night. Its nice and big.The staff are very nice and the beer is good, nicest pint in limerick.

23/08/2024: Great place for the kids to blow off some steam. We did trampolines and gold , reasonably priced .

12/08/2024: Had a really great time here with the kids , so much to keep them entertained. The bowling had to be the best tho, I would recommend you bring your kids of all ages here

06/10/2024: No matter how hungry you are, do NOT order the Asian Stir Fry. Horrible tasting food. It was swimming in a thick vinegar sauce that had such a strong taste, you couldn't taste anything else. When I went to pay, I complained to the waitress and I got "Thank you for your feedback". Shall I talk about the espresso? Black water. Horrible. Never again. At least the tea my wife took was good.

23/09/2024: Small, cosy , Italian restaurant. Good selection of pizzas, pastas and mains. Chicken in black pepper sauce and pizza were both very good. Good value and good service

27/09/2024: Foods okay could find better it’s the workers. Odd few times I’ve heard/ seen the chef screaming from the kitchen at teens about vaping even tho sometimes they aren’t and yes i know they shouldn’t be doing it in there but he could send a worker out to tell them not to do it . And if you go into wok to go in a group of 4+ and only one or two people get food you get told the rest of your group can’t stay because they aren’t customers

20/10/2024: I ordered the Vegetarian Spice Box, and I found a piece on chicken it it, we called the restaurant and all they offered was store credit, and to get the store credit we would have to drive back to the restaurant and drop off the dish with the piece of chicken inside. As soon as I saw the piece of chicken I threw it in the bin because I was so shocked, to get a store credit I’d have to fetch the piece of chicken out of the bin, get dressed and drive down in the rain. Their mistake not mine, I’ve never eaten meat in my life, very close call.

26/09/2024: Food order was wrong/ The order was repeated back twice but I was given wrong kids meal. Chicken bites were dry and tasteless. Just disappointed.
