12/02/2026: An amazing culinary experience. This is fine dining without being pretentious. It is a gorgeous old building which is beautifully appointed. The waiting staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want an exceptional meal while in Limerick.

22/07/2026: I’m wanted a spice box while visiting Limerick and I was not disappointed! The chips were made fresh for me when I ordered and everything was warm and spicy. Highly recommend

02/08/2026: A surprising restaurant, on our way back from Dingle to Limerick. Well furnitured, a cozy restaurant and good service - but above all: star-like dinner! The wild boor and venison ragout was really good, just as the dessert and even unordered pre-starter with homemade sourdough bread and delicious really tasteful mushroom soup. Do not pass this one!

01/05/2026: Found this gem near Thomond Park for the Friday Morning Fry from the site we are working on up the road, and so glad we did. The full Irish breakfast was 10/10—decent portions and Piping hot. We ate it so fast, I didn't think of taking a photo in time but it was great. The service was fast and friendly. We'll definitely be back next week!

14/06/2026: The server put scaling hot plates of food down directly in front of my kids and didn’t warn us that the plates were scaling hot. The food was very average. My husband got 5 scampi in a portion they charged €17 for. The wrap I got was cold and the bread tasted stale. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

22/04/2026: I come here a few days a week for coffee but usually end up having more...theres such a cheerful atmosphere. Service is always excellent and done with a smile...i love the granola and I cant resist taking home a banana bread....

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

03/07/2026: I got a pizza from here the dough was raw and I tried complaining about it and all they said was they didnt cook it for long enough and the owner is all so very rude he was cursing at me for no reason I would not recommend

15/05/2026: The food was cold, poorly presented, and I waited a long time. The table was dirty and greasy, and I waited 15 minutes for it to be cleaned.

10/05/2026: We ordered two chicken & chorizo sandwiches and a BLT and honestly all three were awful. The sandwiches weren’t even toasted, the chicken had absolutely no flavour, and there was barely any chorizo in them. The salad came completely dry with no dressing, which just summed up the whole meal. The BLT was equally disappointing. For the prices charged, the food quality was terrible. Definitely won’t be returning.

19/03/2026: Absolutely gorgeous food and such lovely staff. Maybe the nicest Chinese food ive ever had! Curry sauce is beautiful. They are very accommodating also.

25/02/2026: Really good food and so close to Raheen, I dont know how its not busier! Staff are so nice and generous. Definitely worth it for a takeaway, havent eaten in.

24/07/2026: The food was really good, overall a positive experience. Service could have been better but I think he might have been new. Slight delay getting the food but was worth it in the end food was good. The black bean is very tasty.

18/07/2026: Got take away from here tonight, one of our dishes was pad Thai and it’s tasted like they had just put a load of ketchup in it absolutely disgusting
