20/07/2025: This place is definitely different. It is cool and alternative. We had nice drinks here, and the vibe and the people here were in all honesty just lovely. However, we went to a ticketed event here last night and were very disappointed with this, we left after 10 minutes. The woman manning the door to get upstairs also was rude and hostile. I will try this place again on a regular night, as I have consistently heard good things about Pharmacia.

20/06/2025: The amount and variety of events that occur in this bar is amazing. Easily the queer and alternative hub of Limerick. Drag shows as well as other events like poetry nights almost every week. Stuart is fantastic.

The decor is rustic, with a slightly eclectic style, which adds character to the place. The service was very friendly and professional, and the waiters were happy to advise on food and drink choices. The menu is varied, with dishes that combine classic styles with modern touches. The food tasted really good—fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of the food and drinks. This place is perfect for a casual get-together with friends, as well as a quiet lunch or dinner.

05/08/2025: Both myself and my friend ordered food, i asked for a taco sauce, cheese and bacon chips, he asked for curry cheese chips and we both got a battered sausage Taco mice chips and chicken curry chips came out, when we said we didn't order this, we were met by a very rude and smart reply to the woman behind the desk "did ye not think it was abit expensive lads" and " I cant read minds" but i think from them exact words used to order that its not exactly rocket science but hey, maybe thats why they are frying chips. No offer was made to remake the food, just smart, patronising remarks, no ownership of the issue. We took the food as we were working in a local hotel for the night and were running out of time Heard whispering to staff "they look very happy with my mistake" I hope your happy with your review 😉 Terrible rude customer interaction / Service

03/05/2025: I have passed by Sunflower Bakery a few times in the past and, today, I found out it was to my detrimental coz the food is fabulous. I bought a Rhubarb With Crunchy Crumble topping & a Hazelnut sauce, chocolate éclair. Both were atrociously delicious..., Manna from haven

04/04/2025: Compared with other "bakeries" around, hands down the best in the area! Real sourdough, scrumptious pastries like croissants with different fillings, to die for! Delicious and made from really good ingredients!

23/07/2025: I had a slow cooked beef sandwich in there today and it was actually one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. The beef was so juicy, sweet and tender, paired with the mustard and jalapeño it was stunning. The ciabatta was so fresh too. The side salad, albeit small, was delicious especially the dressing it came with. Only criticism is the sauce the beef was cooked in was a tad too sweet for my palette but that sweetness was offset by the spice of the jalapeños and tangy mustard. Really filling and delicious lunch and would get it again!

19/07/2025: So Happy that Papaz is back open, the staff are so kind and welcoming. The pulled pork is absolutely amazing and so filling too. Highly recommend giving this place a go 📍
