The best restaurants in Limerick

01/12/2025: Wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly kind. There was some confusion about 2 beds in the room with the booking. They sorted it out for us no problem. It’s a very charming 200+ year old hotel in an adorable village. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The beds were a dream. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and many vegan options. They brought us hot porridge with fruit and had several dairy-free milk alternatives for my tea. Great mid way point between Dublin and the west coast of Ireland where we did our road trip. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again.

30/11/2025: We stayed one night. The rooms were luxury the breakfast fabulous and the staff at breakfast very helpful. . Check in a bit slow due to one little desk at reception.

15/10/2025: Love the food here in bamboo fast service friendly staff and the food is delicious highly recommend this place

11/05/2025: Wasted €14 — the whole meal ended up in the trash. Unfortunately, the crispy chicken sauce had the texture of disgusting mush, and the noodles were really low quality. I trusted the good reviews, but this taught me that even a 4.4 rating on Google Maps doesn’t guarantee the place is actually decent.

16/08/2025: Lovely cafe attached to the Hunt Museum currently holding an exhibition about the life of Richard Harris born in Limerick. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internal and external seating on the banks of the majestic River Shannon

03/07/2025: We had a bbq here yesterday evening for a conference we are hosting in Limerick for about 70 people. The food was amazing. The staff were just brilliant and made everyone feel comfortable. I have to say it was just a beautiful setting. The whole experience was just top class.

22/02/2025: First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.

25/09/2025: Haven't been in in a while but was disappointed going back breakfast is 15.95 on the expensive side for wat you get philly sub was ok but small and dry but that's wat ketchup is for comes with crisp no chip disappointing overall the menu has seen a huge price hike 3.70 for a small can of coke na with a new cafe been built in the coming months I'd say they unfortunately will lose a lot of customers as they have already

29/06/2025: We ordered food for a party and it was absolutely delicious. The team looked after all our requirements, provided us with food options and communication was top notch. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious! Good quantities as well. Great experience all round!

12/12/2025: Went to a Christmas dinner party here last week. The food was amazing, credit to the chef👏👏. Staff couldn't have been nicer very friendly and obliging. Toilets were clean and there's loads of parking.

28/02/2025: Fantastic food. Big portions and very good prices. We have ordered from here now on a few occasions over the last few weeks and everything has been so nice. Not greasey very tasty and the nicest Chinese we've had in a very long time

18/01/2025: We recently had a sit down meal for 27 people, Helen and staff were absolutely brilliant. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend this place for a sit down meal or a take away

25/09/2025: First time and it was a great surprise. Food is just the right amount of spicy (we chose things with just one jalapeño) and the Kulfi for dessert was delicious. We had a selection of starters and side plates to share (garlic naan is a must) Our servers were suuuuper nice and attentive, they gave great recommendations and were conscious of food choices (I'm vegetarian). All in all a great experience, definitely recommend. Sorry there's no pictures we ate everything before taking any

03/09/2025: Lovely coffee and good selection of pastries. The staff are very friendly and I never have to wait long for my order.

16/08/2025: I tried the lemon cake at Gloria Jean’s and it was really good! I also had a caramel latte, which I absolutely loved. The pricing is a bit on the costly side, but still enjoyable. However, the customer service definitely needs improvement.

20/06/2025: The amount and variety of events that occur in this bar is amazing. Easily the queer and alternative hub of Limerick. Drag shows as well as other events like poetry nights almost every week. Stuart is fantastic.
