08/05/2025: A but tight with seasoning and no drink with meal. Bring back the old stix. Stix special is nice so 3 stars.

26/05/2025: Stopped in for lunch on our way to limerick, had the beef stew and it was lovely. The hostess was very friendly. Simple and delicious.

18/05/2025: Had a delicious breakfast here last week! Very friendly hostess. Nice vintage decor. I don't suppose you'd share what black pudding you use? It was delicious.

07/06/2025: Went today with my mum for breakfast/brunch. We both ordered omlettes and soda bread with tea/coffee. We were so happy with the food it was really lovely and my coffee was too! Unfortunately the whole experience was dampened by the service from one younger woman behind the counter who told us there was no soda bread a few minutes after our order which is fine we both said we'd have the brown slice bread instead which was stated on the menu as toasted. When the food came out the bread wasn't toasted and when we asked if we could have it toasted the plates were taken from our tables with a 'RIGHT' & swift walk away from our table with a massive huff from the server at the toaster and I then saw her speak to the other lady working there who then brought us the toast back! For such a simple and polite ask her mannerisms and attitude really upset my mum and I as if we were rude about it we'd have expected that response but we were both in shock! She really needs to be spoken to because every other person we encountered was so lovely and the food and garden center is just fab! I would still go back as it is the first time I've had bad customer service here and the others were lovely but it did upset me enough to leave a review!

28/05/2025: Great place for a coffe and danish. Whether your going to nursety or not. Nusery really good always worth a visit for anyone ...gardners or beginners. Phil very helpful...but dont call him Ray! For any garden advice

25/10/2024: I recently visited soda cakes and had mixed feelings about my experience. The food was fantastic—delicious and well-prepared, truly a highlight of my visit. However, the atmosphere was marred by the rude demeanor of the manager, whose unprofessional attitude towards the staff was hard to ignore and her lack of hygiene was not pleasing. It created an uncomfortable and unbearable vibe that detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, I noticed that the barista could use some more training; I could hear the milk burning while my coffee was being made, which was a bit disappointing. With a few improvements in management and training, this cafe could really shine. I hope they take these comments to heart!

27/04/2025: Staff were lovely but we ordered two coffees and they took 14 minutes to come out…… which personally I feel is quite a long time to be waiting for two coffees. Also was very expensive for just ok coffee.

29/05/2025: Proper traditional takeaway I got the chicken fillet burger and a bag of chips Also got the gravy sauce with it, I’d say it’s the Graces gravy great all round. The chips are perfect old school chips Highly recommend

13/07/2025: Had a beautiful brunch here this weekend, the staff are amazing, highly professional and attentive. Lovely modern floral decor, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and I will certainly come here again.

20/05/2025: Firstly, we were met by a great waitress, she is very good at her job, and very professional. However, the food was bland. Also, there is way too much on offer….. (this is never a sign of a good restaurant in my opinion). I hate giving a poor review, but the food here was unfortunately not good, despite it getting good word of mouth reviews around the town.

11/02/2025: Good food, large menu with plenty for all. Prices moderate enough. Staff are basic enough but efficient which is something. Not much of an atmosphere, stand in area to collect food and that's it.

03/05/2025: Popped into Noms recently—service was quite slow, so be prepared to wait a bit. I’d recommend paying by card, as you'll end up getting a lot of brown coins in your change back if you use cash 😏. (Well thats what happened us) That said, the donut I had was absolutely delicious—fresh, fluffy, and worth the visit for the treat alone.

02/04/2025: I ordered some of the sauces online and it has been 16 days and running with no sign of the order being delivered soon. I emailed to let them know and got no reply. I would not recommend ordering anything online, not reliable one bit and the lack of communication is nothing but poor.

28/05/2025: The service was absolutely lovely, and the coffee well made and very reasonably priced! The furniture was nice, there are a lot of tables and chairs, I’m tempted to say too many, it can look a little overwhelming but on the weekends they might be packed. The decor is traditional- quirky, they have vases and signs placed a bit randomly around the place. A few nice unique paintings would have a significant effect on the atmosphere, I think. Worth checking out regardless!

04/07/2025: I visited Doh Proper Pizza City for the first time and had a great experience. The barbecue pizza I had was really nice full of flavor and made fresh. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed the relaxing music playing in the background. I accidentally ordered a pepperoni pizza at first, not realizing it was sausage (which I don’t eat), but the staff were so patient and understanding. Their kindness and good customer service really made a difference. I’d definitely come back again great food, great vibe, and lovely people!
