28/09/2025: Simple environment, professional and really good staff, in fact they were really nice. Fresh and quality food, there you can taste the real indian food that has a really autenthic taste. We really had a good dinner. We will come back another time for sure. We suggest this place to everybody.

05/10/2025: The restaurant's location is excellent, and the meal vouchers from our hotel were a great start. The food itself was fantastic, which made our experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the service was atrocious. We were not attended to at any stage during our meal, and no one checked if we wanted more drinks. We also had long waits for our food and had to flag down staff just to get the bill. It was disappointing to see what looked like a lack of training or management, as staff seemed to stand around talking to each other instead of helping customers. The poor service completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful meal.

05/01/2026: We went to play snooker for an hour, you pay a deposit before playing and get it back if you don’t play over the hour. We timed exactly when we started playing and kept a close eye on the time and finished up a couple of minutes early. It takes 2-3 minutes to set up and the same when putting everything back. We accounted for that and came back to the counter 2 minutes early. Upon receiving my deposit back I didn’t receive the full amount. When I questioned this I was told by the member of staff, that we were playing for over an hour, when we weren’t. I tried to explain to the staff member that we actually kept track of the time and finished up our game early to make sure we weren’t there over an hour but I was just rudely shut down by the staff member, I was told, “That’s the rules and if I don’t like it I can get out” So just a heads up to anyone coming to play in the snooker hall, which is in terrible condition for the price you pay, they like to make up their own rules and will try rob you of a couple quid, as if they don’t already do that with some of their arcade games that don’t even work!

30/11/2025: I visited Limerick for one night with a friend after traveling all the way from Galway, and unfortunately our experience at Nancy Blake’s was extremely disappointing. When we reached the entrance, the bouncer refused us entry with a vague “not tonight guys,” even though we were sober, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy the night. What made the situation worse was watching the group directly behind us—local white patrons—walk in without any questions or hesitation. When we politely asked for a reason for being denied, none was given. The entire interaction felt discriminatory and left us feeling singled out for no legitimate reason. As visitors who were excited to experience the city’s nightlife, this was a genuinely upsetting moment. No one should be treated like this at the door of any establishment. I hope the management takes this seriously, because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression on travelers.

30/11/2025: I used to love Nancy’s Bar, but during my last visit it became obvious that non-white customers are treated differently by the bouncers. I was allowed in, yet my husband who is non-white and was properly dressed was denied entry without any explanation. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning to Nancy’s again, which is unfortunate because the bar staff have always been lovely.

15/07/2025: Best craic , fantastic renovation, excellent bar staff and parking told by my visitor from eu they had the best served cold Guinness in ireland. Fantastic atmosphere here! . 5 🌟 highly recommend. Grainne Gillespie. Limerick city.

18/11/2025: I really enjoyed the sandwich and cookies. The staff were very nice too. It's a great spot with nice outdoor seating as well. Such a shame they don't offer any 'for here' cups or plates, this location especially has the space to do it.

25/09/2025: Every time I come here I come away feeling completely underwhelmed. Cheap furniture, uninspired decor, barely adequate toilet facilities, slow service (as there's always a queue) . The staff are pleasant enough, but in comparison to many other cafes this falls short of the mark. It only survives on the back of a shortage of competition in this area of Limerick, and despite a big student population, it's certainly not cheap.

21/03/2026: I’m a delivery driver and picking up orders from this place is a nightmare they don’t even want to talk to you very an organised and poor customer service anyway who work as a delivery driver avoid this place at all costs

14/03/2026: I ordered a Brekkie Mac at 10:50 - I waited for 15 minutes and asked about my food. I was told by a worker that it wasn't even started at that point, so I requested a refund. I was the only person ordering food at the time and the staff were chatting away. I've nothing against chatting to help the boredom but it seemed like no one was checking about there the food was. Two men who looked like senior members of the team used an emergency exit to get access back into the building rather than using the appropriate access point. Seemed like a mess.

08/02/2026: Lovely place for lunch. Food was served quickly, pipping hot & freshly cooked. Good sized portions. Staff very efficient & friendly. Nice menu choices. However it would b nice to have had apple pie/crumble on the menu for people who dont use milk products. Nice stopping point between kerry & limerick city. Loads of parking also. Id call here again

17/01/2026: Absolutely one of the best experiences of our trip. The service was unbelievable - every single person in the hotel was so accommodating and anticipated every need we had. You could not ask for better facilities, service, or value!
