The best restaurants in Limerick

14/08/2026: I strolled in here last Wednesday. I was looking for a cool coffee drink. They recommended the tiramisu ice cream coffee. I was so hot 🥵 think I was on the verge of sun stroke. She kindly took my order patiently. My toddler was also with me. She was very quick with my order. Thanks again.

08/08/2026: Delicious vegan ice cream options, we got pistachio and mango.

28/07/2026: Busy coffee shop with hip vibes and friendly staff. Everything was delicious. The cheesecake is to die for! Plenty of tables to sit and work or chat. Don't miss it-- the sign out front is hard to see.

14/06/2026: Coffee wasn't the best, service slow.

29/07/2026: Cozy, dark, classic grungy feel. This is the everybody's welcome here bar in Limerick. Plenty of alcoves & nooks around the space. Cool modern rock tracks but easy to have a conversation.

15/03/2026: We had been told by friends that Ireland has this great stwe and the best Shepherd pie. Not gonna lie, we had been a little disappointed with the guinness syew and Shepherds pie until we ate here. The best most flavorful Guinness stew and Shepherd pie is made at O'Flynns. This is the cutest establishment. All of the charm and friendliness we have experienced throughout Ireland is present in abundance here.

26/07/2026: I like coming here for the chicken salad or chicken with fries, but this time the chicken was a little tough. It's the first time this has happened to me, so it's not a big deal. Usually, the chicken is very good at this place.

You walk into The Oak Room expecting high-end theater, but what you actually get is a masterclass in respect—for the ingredients, for the craft, and for the sheer joy of eating well. The room hits you first: magnificent, moody, steeped in history, and completely devoid of the stuffy pretense that usually poisons fine dining. Then comes the tasting menu, a beautiful, coherent narrative where every single dish lands with quiet precision. Service is sharp, warm, and delightfully human (huge shoutout to Daniel for taking care of us like absolute royalty). It’s not cheap, but brilliance rarely is. A glorious, unforgettable night of real Irish hospitality.

02/07/2026: There might not be a restaurant that is as inspirational as Locke Burger in Limerick. On a 10 euro lunch deal, one can see a Corrigan in the wild. Definitely elevates the experience.

19/06/2026: The staff here are so nice and the food is very tasty. We visited with a large group including a child twice last week for brunch & both times really enjoyed the food. Its a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere with options for everyone. Would recommend

25/04/2026: If I had a 4.5 star option that is how I’d rate Delish in Castletroy. I’ve had breakfast here a few times and it’s always consistent. The service is good and the food is even better. Quality ingredients and everything cooked fresh. They don’t over charge either for extra eggs or things like that like some places. Overall it’s fairly priced for what you get. No complaints and would recommend it to others.
