03/09/2025: Chicken squish and foods pretty bland, we ordered a Tuesday night but the quality shouldn’t nose dive so dramatically at least use proper chicken instead of precooked Sysco rubbish and the prawn toast was on a baguette roll kinda part of the name it’d be toast

14/07/2025: Great Guinness, Comfy seat and sport on TV, I didn’t try and food but I did have a packet of bacon fries which are always good 💚.
Nice pub and I’ve uploaded the current drinks price list as of 14/07/2025.

09/12/2025: On our way home from Killarney, we saw this lovely restaurant and asked for a table. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The food surprised us. Good value for money.
25/11/2025: Wow, what a wonderful meal after a long day of driving. We loved the attentive service and three-course option. Everything was scrumptious from the pear chicken salad to the wonderful sole fish. Dessert was excellent as well. I highly recommend eating here. Quiet and nice.

05/10/2025: Wonderful stay here of 5 very comfortable nights. The staff are particularly helpful and food delicious. Thanks especially to Sachin who found a desk lamp so I could work at night.
02/10/2025: A beautiful, quiet hotel in the manageable Newcastle West area. The lady at the reception is a wonderful employee; she helped with everything and was extremely kind. I've rarely been welcomed so warmly. We stayed one evening at the Longcourt Hotel as we were traveling further afield. We can recommend this hotel; everything was very good. There's also plenty of parking. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We hope you enjoy the honey 😘

14/12/2025: Excellent food, good prices, generous portions. My compliments again to Edit, who surprised me by speaking perfect Italian and giving us excellent advice on food and our short visit to Limerick! If you're Italian and want a break from English, ask for her.

19/09/2025: Food was delicious, we had the Breakfast Dawg and Roast Beef Bagel. Great coffee and the lemon tart was the best I've ever eaten! Staff were so friendly and gave us some great recommendations for our travels. Also treated our little boy to some marshmallows which he loved!

27/10/2025: I had an incredible experience at the hurlers recently and couldn't recommend it highly enough. I've been looking for a great spot that balances a lively bar atmosphere with high-quality food, and this place truly delivers on both fronts.
22/09/2025: Love the Hurlers. Cannot go wrong. Always a nice busy atmosphere even with its extension out the back presumably for students. This visit pleasantly surprised about the decent food. Had never previously felt they were up to the job but now full on Gastro. Very good. Really decent Guinness as ever. Satisfied.

25/09/2025: Excellent breakfast. Wide selection of sweet and savory options. Everything we tried was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, patient with my parents, who didn't speak English and had trouble choosing what to order. We were staying at the hotel across the street and easily walked here since breakfast wasn't included. Recommended!
