The best restaurants in Limerick

03/05/2026: It was okay. I had in on my list for a while, I wouldn’t go again, but it was okay to go once. Food variety is not as big as you expect, very low variety of noodles and rices (for an Asian buffet) and a lot of fried food, and I mean they were nice but, Mac and cheese and lasagna? Service just good, not very friendly but they were polite, effective and that’s what counts. The place was clean.

02/05/2026: The service from the two men at the entrance was a complete horror, terrible, rude, a 0 out of 10. I urgently advise that the employees receive training. I don't know if in their country they have the custom of treating people like garbage. Their English was terrible and their communication extremely poor. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

25/11/2025: I was with some friends having a few pints of Guinness and it was great. The service was excellent and we had a great conversation with the bartender, who even recommended places to visit.

22/11/2025: If you are looking for a clean and quiet Irish pub,The Tavern is a perfect once.Dominic is a very friendly guy and is strict about his admission policy.The regulars are really nice people.

21/04/2026: Spicy buffalo wings are great. The bang bang cauliflower i thought was gonna be weird. It was so nice well worth trying out. Streaks are great. Was stuffed after. U would wanna make sure u have room before ordering dessert. Great taste off everything

18/10/2025: Huge shop since renovation great choice of provisions.... Its a pity their delivery service needs a Lot of attention waited 5 hours last week for delivery, and today also waiting 5 hours you would expect this at Christmas its beyond a joke. Be careful crossing entrance into shop vehicles think they have the right to drive out on to road while crossing the foothpath to get to the road. Complained many times.... nothing done....

19/02/2026: I love this restaurant so much the atmosphere reminds me of a old 80s or 90s movie in America they have great food the best milkshakes this is my favourite restaurant ever way better than KFC ,mcdonald's, or nandos I will always come to this restaurant if I'm happy sad angry it will make me happy with the lovely food atmosphere and shake love it here HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🩷🤟

05/05/2026: As a non Irish person who tries to find good sushi and rolls in Ireland I went to try this place. I can’t say that I loved it, can’t say I hated it, it’s just like any other place. I think that there is just no such thing as good sushi in Ireland. Chances of us returning here are 1 out of million.

02/05/2026: I am ordering Unagi Rice over here every time O am in Limerick. This is just so tasty. Once I also tried Bento Box which was delicious too. Can get busy in the evenings and on the weekends.

26/03/2026: A hidden gem. Deserves more than 5 stars. The staff have always a pleasure to deal with, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced given the portion size. The atmosphere is what keeps bringing me back; it's very quiet and peaceful. You almost forget you are in a city. I recommend the Sushi and Sashimi Bento Box if you want sushi, and the Yasai Tempura Curry for vegetarians.

16/08/2025: Clean and welcoming place, excellent service. Cappuccino compared to the large Italian ones, but you can choose between small, medium, and large, but excellent. A piece of advice: stop by ☺️🤗🤗

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

24/04/2026: I was working on a local project for a few months and have stayed in different hotels. This is undoubtly one of the best options in Limerick and therefore I stayed various times. Generally a great hotel. However, shower water flow is annoyingly minimal and therefore it takes a longer time to take a shower. Also it has some noise insulation issues in some rooms, even with ear plugs I found it difficult to sleep after 6am-6:30am which is a problem for longer stays.

23/04/2026: My dearly beloved treated us to a weekend away at this hotel. We had been wanting to stay here for a while. However our eagerness was met with utter disappointment and upset. I have never stayed anywhere that had lukewarm water for the bath. The shower wasn't any better, it was falling apart, the door was hanging on by a thread. The cleanliness was barely average. And the room itself was dated and basic. The window wasn't sealed properly, so you could hear noise from the road. Probably the most significant part of our disappointment was the complete lack of service. When we arrived, we weren't met with kindness or warmth, but rather instant dislike. She was rude and unhelpful. And yet the couple behind us were met with 5 star treatment. It was a very sour start. But our departure wasn't much better. When we were asked about our stay we mentioned one or two issues with the room, but it was met with indifference, couldn't care a less. We would not return and we would not recommend.
