The best restaurants in Limerick

28/09/2026: The best Asian restaurant in Limerick. All the options I tried over there was well made and very tasteful. The range of options is incredible. From Chinese, Japanese and go on... Ramen is my favourite one! It is a very busy and small place, so make a reservation in advance, so you guarantee your place.

22/09/2026: The food here is so good and reliable, cosy spot

17/10/2026: Camille used to be so great. I don't know what has happened. The staff are still great and the venue is nice, with good atmosphere, but the food is just so inconsistent and substandard now. I recently got a chicken starter and it might have been the worst chicken I have ever had. It was like it had been cured over several years. It was mummified meat. More like chickens feet than chicken tender. Could not even bite through it. It was like tough plastic string. It was as if they picked it out of the bin and the side salad was like it had been cut out of cardboard. The tiny tub of Sriracha sauce was enough for one chip. The monkfish special was all rice and I counted three pieces of monkfish. There wasn't even the option of Thindi, which for me, is now the better option. There are still nice options like the cauliflower and the curries are nice, but it's mostly rice, sauce and veg with not enough meat. I feel like Camille has got lazy with the food- taken their eye off the ball. Shame, because they were on to a really good thing. This is not my first bad experience, I was a loyal customer who has left good reviews also, but the last two years have seen a massive slide.

24/10/2026: Absolutely shocking ordered food for delivery at 6:52 the order arrived at my door at 9 o clock the place closes at 8 so how that’s possible I don’t know, the food is cold not even lukewarm it’s cold, absolutely appalling never again

14/08/2026: I strolled in here last Wednesday. I was looking for a cool coffee drink. They recommended the tiramisu ice cream coffee. I was so hot 🥵 think I was on the verge of sun stroke. She kindly took my order patiently. My toddler was also with me. She was very quick with my order. Thanks again.

18/07/2026: What an amazing hotel, it was like stepping back in time to a bygone era of grandparents! The staff were truly amazing....warm friendly helpful, everyone asked your name and gave you theirs, the leisure centre staff were also fabulous as was the leisure centre facilities complete with state of the art equipment and tennis courts! Absolutely amazing!

21/05/2026: We can’t say enough good things about our stay in Castle Oaks Hotel. We stayed the night before my son’s First Holy Communion and everyone was so kind and helpful. First class service all round. The room was gorgeous but as it was newly painted we couldn’t stay so they kindly let us stay in one of the houses and it was gorgeous too. The breakfast is first class. We rushed out for the Holy Communion so came back for breakfast the next day and the service we received from Maggie was first class. Friendly and very efficient. She couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely lady! The Guinness bread is a big hit! Sherna, FOH Supervisor, Anna on reception and Mark at the leisure club couldn’t have been nicer or helped us anymore as the children wanted to go to the pool and play padel. They were all so lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them all. This is the best team we’ve encountered in a long time all working together for their guests so wonderfully! This is an absolute hidden gem in Castleconnell and we can’t praise the team highly enough. Customer service is sadly lacking these days, but not here. Thank you for a wonderful stay and giving us such wonderful memories!

06/09/2026: We went there around 10:30 when the place was half empty and they took more than one hour to bring us the food. Once they brought the food, one was incorrect and we had to wait more time. Food was good.

28/08/2026: Visited The Buttery twice in last 2 weeks and each time the service from Dylan has been professional. Food was delicious each time made with very fresh and tasty ingredients.Food was priced very reasonable and coffee was perfect 👌

19/10/2026: Absolutely loved this café! Such a lovely experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. A special mention to Paul and Karen 🌷 who provided outstanding service and made our visit even more enjoyable. You can really tell that the team cares about their customers and loves what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

14/05/2026: What a gem! I had such an enjoyable stay here earlier this week. It's certainly not your typical bland, business hotel but feels very special with beautiful decor as well as a friendly, professional and personal service. I loved the comfortable room and the little touches such as rosemary bathsalts and proper tea/coffee brought to the room as well as a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.
