11/06/2026: I love this hotel . lovely staff who are kind friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and lively. Breakfast was superb . Beds comfortable.

30/05/2026: Lovely hotel, bedroom was very spacious with comfortable bed and plenty of channels on TV. Staff here are very helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Nice outdoor area for having a drink in the sun. Dinner was great and breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend 👌

21/06/2026: My sincerest thanks to Maria and her team for our fantastic experience in Coqbull Limerick for our stag party reservation. Maria was incredibly professional and the service was extremely efficient, particularly for a group as large as ours. Many of the group remarked positively on the high quality of food and how welcoming the staff were. Would absolutely recommend!

20/07/2026: Avoid Jerry Flannery’s Limerick – Group of Five Women Refused Entry and Treated with Aggressive Physical Force by Manager Will Morgan I would strongly advise people to avoid Jerry Flannery’s pub in Limerick based on the experience my friends and I had on the day of the 2026 All-Ireland Hurling Final. The pub was due to open at 2:00 pm, and our group of five women all aged 25 queued from approximately 1:15 pm. There were only a couple of groups in front of us when we joined the queue with many more people arriving behind us before opening time. When the doors opened at 2:00 pm the queue moved quickly and we couldn’t wait to get in get a nice seat and our first drink. We watched multiple groups, including groups of men, being let in but we became the first group to be refused entry without reason. We had only just arrived in Limerick and were completely sober. We were all wearing Limerick jerseys, behaving respectfully, carrying valid photo ID, and had not caused any disturbance whatsoever. None of us had ever been in Jerry Flannery’s before, so there was no previous incident or behaviour that could have justified refusing us entry. When I politely asked why we were being refused while everyone else was being allowed in, I received no reasonable explanation. There seemed to be 2 security staff checking IDs, but the person making the decision on who was allowed in appeared to be the manager, Will Morgan. I then approached the manager again to ask why we were being singled out. Instead of calmly explaining the decision, he became aggressive and physically pushed me out of the way backwards with force. As a 25 year old female simply asking a question, I found this completely unacceptable and unnecessary. No customer should be treated in this manner. What made the situation even more upsetting was that we watched other groups continue to enter while our group of five women was refused. Based on what we experienced, it felt extremely discriminatory. This completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable All-Ireland Final day. We had travelled queued patiently for 45 minutes behaved respectfully and were treated with hostility instead. Horrible Management having gone to university in Limerick and grew up here my whole life I had never experienced anything like this treatment at a bar. I certainly won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this pub to anyone based on how we were treated. Manager needs to seriously look at himself all he is is a low life Bully.

19/08/2026: Go there for coffee regularly and place always surprises me. Staff is great, very friendly and providing one of the best services in Limerick. If the weather is good, I sit outside. Coffee tastes great, prices are ok. Would recommend!

06/08/2026: I visit Supermac’s regularly, and I always have a great experience. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food is always fresh and of very good quality, and the place is always clean and well organized. You can tell they really care about providing excellent customer service. I definitely recommend it, and it’s a place I’ll keep coming back to.

27/08/2026: I used to consider this one of my favourite places in Limerick. The atmosphere and the music are still amazing, but I didn’t understand what happened the other day. I was already at the counter, waiting to be served for quite a while, while many people who arrived after me were given priority and served before me. When I politely asked for my drinks, the woman serving me said “please” and went to make them. I hadn’t been rude at all, but the whole situation made me feel a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it has dropped down my list of favourite places.

08/08/2026: Good music and the staff is very friendly. The events they hold on weekdays are more appealing, with a DJ and food for sale.

18/07/2026: What an amazing hotel, it was like stepping back in time to a bygone era of grandparents! The staff were truly amazing....warm friendly helpful, everyone asked your name and gave you theirs, the leisure centre staff were also fabulous as was the leisure centre facilities complete with state of the art equipment and tennis courts! Absolutely amazing!

21/05/2026: We can’t say enough good things about our stay in Castle Oaks Hotel. We stayed the night before my son’s First Holy Communion and everyone was so kind and helpful. First class service all round. The room was gorgeous but as it was newly painted we couldn’t stay so they kindly let us stay in one of the houses and it was gorgeous too. The breakfast is first class. We rushed out for the Holy Communion so came back for breakfast the next day and the service we received from Maggie was first class. Friendly and very efficient. She couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely lady! The Guinness bread is a big hit! Sherna, FOH Supervisor, Anna on reception and Mark at the leisure club couldn’t have been nicer or helped us anymore as the children wanted to go to the pool and play padel. They were all so lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them all. This is the best team we’ve encountered in a long time all working together for their guests so wonderfully! This is an absolute hidden gem in Castleconnell and we can’t praise the team highly enough. Customer service is sadly lacking these days, but not here. Thank you for a wonderful stay and giving us such wonderful memories!

28/06/2026: Let’s start with most important part so food, absolute perfection I’m baker myself and I ordered pistachio square which was delicious and definitely had some real raspberries inside . Great coffee also , friendly staff and I have to mention great music such bangers when I was there . I wish you were closer to me , very happy I stopped here for my cuppa .

20/06/2026: Was just charged €16.50 for a sourdough and a jalepano loaf. Absolute rip off. They also cannot handle a crowd and service needs massive improvement. Obvs will never go back with them prices

22/06/2026: Awesome hot dawgs! Got some yesterday and it made our day. Definitely recommend the Plain Jane and the Asian Dawg - the staff were very good to modify the Plane Jane to suit dietary preferences. Very good value for the prices too, because the hot dawgs were nice and big and a full meal in themselves. Staff were nice and friendly, and the food was done nice and quickly. Definitely recommend this spot and no doubt we'll be returning.
