12/08/2026: Pints are always okay although expensive. Had chicken wings and chips today and was very disappointed. Chicken was very dry and the chunky chips tasted very bad.

25/10/2026: I’ve been back twice now since Russell’s has reopened and everything is amazing. The decor is stunning, they have done a fabulous job with the renovations. I’ve had both the evening menu and the carvery today and both were absolutely delicious, food is so fresh and honestly I can’t wait to return again. I would highly recommend. I was previously a customer before the revamp but had felt standards had previously slipped but the difference now is incredible.

28/07/2026: We went here on Sunday morning. What a fantastic set up. A group of 14 people. A great selection of food on the menu for everyone. Service was very efficient. Portions are large so it helped that we were all hungry.And everyone left very happy.

09/10/2026: I had lunch in The Good Room today. There were 2 other people dining when I arrived. I ordered the chicken pesto Ciabatta and pink lemonade. While I was waiting for my food, the blonde lady I placed my order with chatted with another woman at the counter. She very audibly swore and cursed. F this and fing that. I'm no angel, but that was very off putting! The food arrived and was dangerously hot! The ciabatta was toasted nicely, but was so scaldingly hot, it was as if it had been microwaved on high. The chicken was incredibly dry and stringy. The only saving grace was the flavour combination of pesto and sundried tomato. The atmosphere was so poor, I didn't ask to see a dessert menu, which isn't like me! I used the bathroom before I left. Both cubicle floors were strewn with toilet paper. One toilet hadn't been flushed and it was really a case of choosing the lesser of two evils.

02/10/2026: Came here on our way to Dingle, fantastic service by Tracey and Evelina. Miso mushrooms were so good! We added a side of goats cheese and it made it perfect. Goats cheese french toast also amazing. Great coffee. 10/10!

11/06/2026: I love this hotel . lovely staff who are kind friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and lively. Breakfast was superb . Beds comfortable.

30/05/2026: Lovely hotel, bedroom was very spacious with comfortable bed and plenty of channels on TV. Staff here are very helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Nice outdoor area for having a drink in the sun. Dinner was great and breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend 👌

22/09/2026: It's clean, nice staff and good grub. Restaurant is lovely to sit inside. Takeaway is a bit poor. Always something missing from the order. Quarter with cheese and chips. Cheese is missing. Cheeseburger and chips. You get a small portion of chips.

12/10/2026: My mom and I ate at Donkey Ford’s in Limerick and were very happy! We both had the fish and chips meal deal and everything tasted great. The staff were also very friendly and nice, which made us feel right at home. We had a lovely visit and would definitely go back. Highly recommended! 😊
