The best restaurants in Limerick

23/03/2026: It seemed challenging for the staff to notice that someone just came in and waiting to be seated, then self-seated and awaiting to order.

03/03/2026: I liked the quality and but the service. Is slow ...you ca. Wait for..treated my old friend and I think she liked and enjoyed her time ...thats what I wanted :)

03/04/2026: Had a nice lunch followed by a tour of the grounds in the horse drawn carriage. Lovely place, great food, lovely chips although a little expensive for the common folk such as ourselves. Good size portions though, perhaps even a little too large for a lunch. Didn't feel like the waiter serving us was very experienced as he seemed to have some difficulty taking our orders and then turned up with an incorrect drink which was subsequently replaced with the correct drink. Found sticky fingerprints on one of the glasses set on our table.We also ordered steak sandwiches to be medium rare but both showed up rare which was a bit of a big mistake for such a upmarket place. We didn't return them and just tried to eat them as we felt it would have been a lot of faff considering they were in sandwiches with sauces etc. Slightly surprised to experience these mistakes in such a setting and at these prices especially when we were the only customers at that time. Overall though, a very nice place and experience.

20/03/2026: Ok this is review of restaurant not hotel. Loved the experience, went with three friends and food, service and ambience was excellent. Will be back again at some stage, not cheap, so keep it for special occasion

18/10/2025: Huge shop since renovation great choice of provisions.... Its a pity their delivery service needs a Lot of attention waited 5 hours last week for delivery, and today also waiting 5 hours you would expect this at Christmas its beyond a joke. Be careful crossing entrance into shop vehicles think they have the right to drive out on to road while crossing the foothpath to get to the road. Complained many times.... nothing done....

14/03/2026: Hello. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke Zero. I'm very pleased with the price and the taste of my meal. The customer service was very friendly, helpful, and fast. It's a very atmospheric place between the castle and the cathedral. I highly recommend it to everyone 😉

23/03/2026: Absolutely amazing experience, Daniel was delightful and we enjoyed his service a lot. The sommeliers were great at giving advice for cocktails. Food was class, I had the vegetarian option (and I'm really complicated when it comes to preferences) but they accommodated for everything. I didn't know you can cook beetroot in so many ways, I was amazed. Also the leek dish omg, I want that dip every day. My partner had the normal tasting menu, almost made me want to try it it looked so good! Definitely an experience to enjoy, food is delicious, drinks are amazing and service is class. Cheeseboard is extra but definitely worth it. I loved the blue cheese, all of them, knocked it out of the park. Gabriella was also so nice! We also had a drink at the Tack Room before and it was the best cocktail I've ever had. Definitely will be coming back.

19/12/2025: Really enjoyed the tasting menu here. Nice variety and the menu seemed to flow well. Beautiful setting also and the service was nice and friendly. Would definitely return.

11/03/2026: House Limerick is an excellent place for either lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to spend time with friends or family. The beer selection is very good, the wines are excellent, and the food is always full of flavour and great quality. One of the best parts is sitting in their garden area overlooking the river — it’s a beautiful and laid-back setting that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a fantastic place to dine or simply enjoy a drink in a lovely setting. Definitely one of the nicest spots in Limerick to relax and unwind.

08/03/2026: We had a booking for a group of 5 girls for women’s day had the best service and Nicole who looked after us was fabulous thanks so much will be back would be better if we had abit more music in the back round but all and all good 👍

22/02/2025: First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.
