24/08/2025: Great spot with lovely food & friendly service.

13/08/2025: Easy to find, great staff and the food was good. I thought it's a bit pricey but the place is beautiful and has a good atmosphere. It's a Saturday morning, so we decided to book by phone. I'd definitely come back.

26/06/2025: Fantastic place came here for a late lunch. Panini was simple but amazing served with salad and soup and the coffee hit the spot. Great place will definitely come back here

30/08/2025: I have being going here since the 90s. A 👍 good pub. Its still more or less the same as it was back then. The years slip by. I usually go in there on a weekend afternoon to watch a match. I haven't being here on a late 🙃 night in a while.

07/08/2025: Lovely music session on a Sat from 8pm too 10pm. Loved the band. Def be back.

03/08/2025: We ate here on a Sunday at 11:40. We were sat quickly and then forgotten about for 20 minutes. A server who wasn't ours then took our food order (our server then came by admitting she forgot us). No drinks offered except the warm water that was placed on the table when we sat. My wife ordered the pulled chicken burger, I ordered chowder and my boys got pancakes. Chicken and pancakes were fine. chowder for absolutely AWFUL. Watery consistency, Closed and dirty mussels and an overall bad taste. Never asked our opinion by any member of staff. I have left feeling sick

24/07/2025: Had a lovely lunch here last week.. couldn't fault anything.

06/06/2025: We got a great kick-off for the day with Cappuccinos and some very healthy snacks. The staff was kind and we sat down while having a chat in this gorgeous small shop. Thank you so much!

17/08/2025: Really nice place and layout of restaurant but food was disappointing. This is the first time kids didn’t eat wings and fries😡wings were bloody and uncooked

25/08/2025: The city center and attractions are easily accessible from here, it is in a very good location. It was funny and in a good mood that the Hungarian staff greeted us of course "Hello Hungarians!". I really liked the "shirt wall" at the entrance. Very spectacular.

24/08/2025: Stayed at the strand visiting family for two nights - disaster on check in that we as a family of four were put into a room with a double and single bed - the person on the front desk didn’t seem to realise that 2 beds and four people doesn’t work - and even tried to get another bed added but there was no room in the room - after much discussion they placed us in a lovely room and this made the check in disaster a bit easier - we dined at the restaraunt but food was not good and very pricey and the staff not so friendly - we decided against breakfast as it’s priced at 19 euros per adult and 10 per child - a Rip off -the hotel is lovely but there’s so much more to do with the staff and price point - 3 stars overall

19/08/2025: Expectations were high, hence the disappointment was great. The onion soup was good and is definitely recommended. But the bread was mouldy - and it wasn't just my observation - the staff agreed, apologised, brought back more bread with mould on it, apologised again, and brought out different bread. Heating old food for customers is not something I expected to see here. The Cordon Bleu was too salty and otherwise not too interesting. Diplomate was too sweet and not too interesting. I expected much higher considering the reputation.

12/09/2025: Such a great spot — tasty food, amazing view, and the coziest vibe. The Irish coffee with Baileys was the perfect finishing touch.

28/08/2025: Really cant say enough about this place from the moment we walked in we were made feel welcome (even though we were 35 mins late for our reservation) the food was outstanding and the service was just as good

11/08/2025: Popped in of a Sunday, it was busy but the Waitress did everything to seat us as promptly as she could, while also accommodating a big event that was just about to happen. The food was what we grew up with. Your basic Irish meals done proper. The Pub is a lovely setting that in corporates Food and Pub life well.

11/05/2025: The staff were great, very friendly, and the food was delicious - we had their smaller version of the full Irish breakfast, and some coffee. Very cozy interior, loved seeing some of the historical decor.

30/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal, the roast beef was excellent, as was the meatloaf. We told the waitress about our home exchange trip, and she loved it.
