22/02/2025: First time in Jack Monday's. It's a good place for a late breakfast or lunch. We had nice food for lunch. I had a wrap and my wife had a club sandwich. It came with salad and cubed potatoes. The coffee (I had a double espresso) was okay, but I like it a bit stronger. Lovely place with a view over the river Shannon and towards the castle. We will certainly come back for lunch.

31/01/2025: Gorgeous coffee shop, two very friendly and accommodating girls working today. Unreal quality coffee and açai bowls and chicken toasties with a few crisps on the side. The girls were so accommodating when my mom wanted an extra tea bag etc. very good prices. thanks a mil!

18/04/2025: An excellent restaurant with Italian and western European cuisine. The food portion sizes are good, food quality is great and staff are very helpful. The prices are slightly on the higher side. There is plenty of free car parking available. Happy to recommend it for casual dining. It may get loud at peak hours.

13/04/2025: Local gourmet quality food in an old-fashioned college building, in the middle of Mungret Park. Opportunity for walking, play, dogs, etc, before or after some lovely grub. Local honey, breads, pastries, as well as consistently well cooked breakfasts and lunches. Art on the walls for viewing and sale. Outside picnic tables also. Highly recommend!

18/05/2025: Visited when I was in Limerick for work. Excellent service. Food was also good. I had trout and it was well cooked. The potatoes were sweet.
Recommend the place.
17/05/2025: Was here a few months ago, absolutely stunning. Been a few times have to say every time it has been impressive and the staff are amazing. My absolute favourite time was at Christmas though. I’m sorry I don’t have photos though, but I will remember that the next time 🥰 because we will be back! Thank you so much x

07/05/2025: We didn’t stay overnight but had a wonderful meal at the restaurant in Leens Hotel. The food was absolutely delicious — freshly prepared, generous portions, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. It’s clear this place is a local favourite, and for good reason. A lovely dining experience — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Abbeyfeale!

15/04/2025: This is a unique coffee shop with a very nice atmosphere. The staff are very accommodating and the menu is simple and to everyone's taste. We were a group of four with all different tastes, we enjoyed our food and coffee, we were comfortable (not feeling rushed) and all agreed it was worth returning to. Definitely recommend it 😊
