24/08/2025: We came from Serbia for 5 days in Ireland, this was our third day and so far the best meal we have had. It's not long for me but everything is homemade and delicious. Thanks to the hosts.

30/08/2025: I visited this café one Saturday morning when I was staying in Adare for a wedding so it was new to me. They were very strange about giving me a table and asked was I having food but I hadn't seen a menu yet so I said probably yes but could I see a menu to decide if I would have something small or a hot breakfast. They then told me to sit outside and I looked around at the empty tables inside and asked could I not sit down and again they asked what food I was having, still no menu provided at this stage. The whole encounter was odd which is a shame as the food was lovely and a friend joined me moments later and we had a lovely breakfast together.

17/12/2025: They have plenty options for vegetarians. Risotto was incredible and with pistachio on top. Creamy, crunchy and tasty Risotto. The host was very nice and waiter too. Great staff. The place has a quiet atmosphere.

03/12/2025: We had high hopes for this Michelin-recommended restaurant, given its convenient location near my office and the numerous positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was mostly disappointing. The starters and desserts were bland and unappetizing, and the service was equally appalling. The staff was consistently ignorant, cold, and distant, lacking any sense of welcome or hospitality, except for the mid-age waiter who brought us the main course. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the main course, which was a delightful surprise. But that’s all there was to it.

15/11/2025: It was good. Nice starter, bread, cocktails and desert. The beef wasn't for me , I didn't think it was a great cut, but could be just me. A solid 4 not really a five star experience

21/10/2025: Food was great, except for the soft bacon. Eggs were delicious, especially the veggie eggs. Coffee was very good. Service was quick.

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

01/10/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOOD!!! bought a curry cheese chip well it was supposed to be a curry cheese chip and its all mush stuck together and there charging €5.00 for this!! Absolute RIP OFF !!! SCANDALOUS PRICES!! very small and bearly any curry on the chips it was more like mash very dry pure laziness they just slapped it together no consideration for there customers always a problem in this chipper if its not them giving the wrong change or wrong order there just being lazy im a regular customer coming here the past 10 years its not the same as it used to be very bad customer service every time i come to this chipper they’re either too busy talking to each other and not serving the customers or on their phones what are they getting paid for? Too sit around talking all day? when u ring and tell them the problem they tell u noting they can do i will not be coming to this chipper ever again!! WASTE OF MONEY!!

12/11/2025: We stayed at Castle Oaks House Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was such a wonderful experience! We stayed in one of the lodge houses-spacious parking, two clean and comfortable bedrooms, and a peaceful environment. We loved walking along the River Shannon in the cool November air. Breakfast was tasty with good menu choices, and the coffee was just perfect! The staff were super friendly, special thanks to Dalma, Megan, and Sherna for their warm hospitality and great stories about Ireland. It was our first visit to Limerick, and they made it unforgettable. Highly recommended for families visiting Limerick! We’d love to come back again. 💚

18/11/2025: I really enjoyed the sandwich and cookies. The staff were very nice too. It's a great spot with nice outdoor seating as well. Such a shame they don't offer any 'for here' cups or plates, this location especially has the space to do it.

25/09/2025: Every time I come here I come away feeling completely underwhelmed. Cheap furniture, uninspired decor, barely adequate toilet facilities, slow service (as there's always a queue) . The staff are pleasant enough, but in comparison to many other cafes this falls short of the mark. It only survives on the back of a shortage of competition in this area of Limerick, and despite a big student population, it's certainly not cheap.

29/11/2025: The Mogul is an iconic Indian restaurant in Limerick. Highly recommend it for a great meal in the centre of the city

22/11/2025: Got a takeaway which arrived quickly. That's where the positives end. Cold greasy onion bhaji, cold flabby meat samosas with no flavour, burnt poppodoms, mushy red onion chutney, asked for lots of sauce with chicken tikka masala, got lots of watered down sauce with dried out chicken, grey slimy pilau rice. Riata is the consistency of low fat milk. Rang the restaurant to be told that the same dishes were served to others and there was no complaints, that i should collect my food in future to check its OK and finally on my next order, they will give me a discount. I explained after 12 years of ordering from them, there wouldn't be another order. That was "fine"! €46 paid and we have no dinner!

31/07/2025: I didn't expect to find such delicious Chinese food in Limerick. The preserved vegetable pork with preserved vegetables is incredible, as is the salted fish and eggplant, and the sweet and sour pork. There's a Chinese menu. The owner is very kind. I even saw they offer group meals, like tour packages, and the home-style dishes are incredibly tempting. It's truly satisfying to be able to enjoy home-style Chinese food abroad.

31/10/2025: *A lovely not-too-brightly/dimly-lit, not-too-loud radio & a not-at-all very much less than hotel/hostel standard *The service is well presented (so-much-so) real, non-plasticised, cutlery (🍴) *The prices are of a usual standard although it is a little out-of-the-town-centre but quite close to King Johns Castle..., with quality to match

30/07/2025: Just passing thru Limerick and wanted some coffee and tea. We ended up with that and a breakfast roll. The food was amazing as well as the service. A must stop if your in the city centre.
