The best restaurants in Limerick

11/08/2026: Unfortunately I didn't realise there was a dress code and was refused entry at 1:30pm on a Tuesday. There were only 2 other people in the pub. I had just finished work and wanted a quick Guinness. Mickey Martin's were more than happy to take my money thankfully 🙂

14/05/2026: Very tidy and clean hotel, beds a bit too narrow for two people. Breakfast very basic, at least if you're traveling in a group. Dinner was delicious. Nice bar. Unfortunately, the location isn't great. It's very far out of town. Pubs aren't within walking distance. Arriving by car is absolutely essential.

01/07/2026: Staff was great. Plenty of menu and drink options. The food was delicious. Sweet and Sour chicken and Chicken Carbonara was excellent. Bathrooms were very clean. There is a step up to get into the toilet though so if you had a couple of drinks, watch your step. It was not noisy at all. Liked all the memorabilia on the walls. Highly recommend.

21/10/2025: Food was great, except for the soft bacon. Eggs were delicious, especially the veggie eggs. Coffee was very good. Service was quick.

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

02/06/2026: Love this cafe it's the only place I want to go for food and a coffee, so many great seating options. And lovely art on the walls. Staff are brilliant. Well priced!

16/08/2026: Hello, yesterday my family and friends visited this Palace ! We celebrated husband’s birthday! Everything was perfect! Food was very very good! excellent service! Some of us were the first time there and they were delighted with everything! Thank you so much for your work and that aloud to stay there longer!

02/08/2026: Buffet was amazing. There was a huge selection with everything being topped up regularly. I couldn't get over the quality. Sushi, mac & cheese, chips a huge choice. The desserts were delicious too. €36 per person is a lot but others were eating a lot more than us so definitely could be very good value. Staff were very helpful and polite.

30/08/2026: We went upstairs to eat our food, as there was nothing to indicate that the area was staff-only. There were also plenty of drinks left on tables from other customers, so we assumed it was open seating. We passed two members of staff on the way up and neither of them mentioned that the upstairs area was for staff only. We just found it a bit strange that there was no sign or indication to say that customers couldn’t sit there. A simple sign would have avoided the confusion.

27/08/2026: We’ve visited this Supermac’s a couple of times and the food has always been good — your typical reliable Supermac’s, with nothing really to complain about. The food tends to be fresh, service is fast, and we’ve never had to wait too long. The Moozies are definitely a highlight! I recently tried the Dubai Chocolate Moozie and it was brilliant. The Ferrero Rocher Moozie is also very good and well worth trying. There’s a drive-thru as well as plenty of seating inside. Papa John’s is also available here, with the pizzas made fresh, and they have the Supermac’s subs as well, which we’ve tried and really enjoyed. Parking is generally very easy, with a spacious car park and additional parking around the petrol station. Just be careful which spaces you use around Circle K, as some spaces have clamping restrictions. Overall, a solid Supermac’s with quick service, fresh food and an especially good Moozie selection. Definitely one of the better options when you want something quick and reliable.

30/07/2026: Very disappointing service. We've been in the cafe couple times dine in or take away and we find the food & coffee really good. But I was here to get a take away coffee & it took 10 minutes or more for them to serve my coffee and it was only me in the take away counter. Service is really bad considering its not busy.

08/06/2026: We went there for breakfast and thought the place was absolutely adorable. Extremely child-friendly and great service! The food was delicious and we couldn't fault it. I would recommend adding one or two dishes for children, as it's very popular with moms and dads.
