01/01/2026: The chicken was undercooked, and when I lodged a complaint with the manager, he just stared at me and offered no assistance when I showed him the meat and the skin on the chicken and it was undercooked. He just looked at me and offered no assistance. The place was incredibly busy and again he offered no assistance.

17/01/2026: Normally we don't have much issue here, but tonight we waited nearly 3 hours for food before we finally called to ask why they weren't delivering it The guy who picked up said that the drivers wouldn't take the orders and 25 other orders were waiting too Now, I get that the drivers not accepting isn't their fault, but they should have called us and the other people about this instead of us waiting around for ages starving, meaning not only did we have to order somewhere else because they were now closing, but ordering from somewhere else was much more difficult since it was now so late It's annoying too because there's usually no issues her but that was just a joke, there's absolutely no reason why we should have been left waiting that long with no update except for the tracking continuously extending the amount of time it will take to arrive, I don't care how busy it was, it takes 20 seconds to call and tell us there's an issue with the order

07/01/2026: I visited Shake Dog in Limerick today with my two family members to grab some food and milkshakes. We had barely been seated for two minutes when the waiter approached to take our order. I decided on a burger with garlic parmesan fries and a milkshake, specifying no tomato and no sauce. When the burger arrived, it had sauce on it. I politely asked if it could be remade, but the waiter who served us was extremely rude and seemed uninterested in his job. His attitude made the situation uncomfortable, and it was disappointing because I’ve been to Shake Dog multiple times over the years and this behavior seems to be a recurring issue. A little respect, kindness, and even a smile would go a long way in making customers feel welcome. Additionally, another staff member was loudly banging cutlery and plates while cleaning, which added to an unwelcoming atmosphere. While the food itself is usually enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. I hope the management addresses the staff attitude to improve the overall customer experience. After I left I threw up all the food the garlic fries did not taste right at all and I’ve never had an issue before…

08/10/2025: Food was actually decent but the lady at the counter asked me first how much was my order - should she not know this already for one of the main items in there? Then she put a handful of Just Eat order receipts on the table and asked me if mine was one of them (I used the Uber Eats app to order and all those receipts on the counter could have been a major GDPR breach) and finally if you are asking a customer what drink would they like, probably not the best idea to go "what drink what drink" at them. Will not be going here again.

02/08/2025: Honestly, this is the best salt and pepper chicken I’ve ever had — no exaggeration! 25/10/2025: Honestly, the most delicious Chinese food I’ve ever had! Excellent quality, generous portions, and full of flavor. The only downside? They’re in Limerick and don’t deliver to Dublin! We stopped by just passing through, and now I wish I could order from them all the time.

26/10/2025: I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend recently. The food and service were fine, but unfortunately my experience was affected because a young boy was talking loudly on the phone for about 30 minutes. It made it very hard to enjoy the meal. I hope the staff can manage noise better in the future so customers can have a more pleasant dining experience.

15/12/2025: The service is terrible, the staff is unprofessional, when I asked to make coffee in a regular cup instead of a paper one, they said they couldn't because the dishwasher wasn't working... and it's been like this for a whole month!!! Horribly unprofessional!!! A complete lack of service and no pleasure from coffee in this establishment!!! The sockets in the hall still don't work, so there's no way to charge your phone or laptop, and the restroom is always dirty!!! Unfortunately...(((

11/12/2025: The Jack MC is easily one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in Ireland. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and the fries are excellent! I would highly recommend the Locke Burger.

28/12/2025: Superb value and service for a big pre-booked takeaway to cater for twelve people at a family gathering. Food was perfectly cooked, great quality, piping hot and ready exactly on time which was well before official opening. Michelle was lovely and extremely helpful. Restaurant looks nice and great value although access involves stairs and parking might be a challenge. Very convenient to Thomond Park and John's Castle.

02/08/2025: Got a vegetarian kebab. There were pieces of meat in it. I returned to the shop, the staff were rude and disinterested, denied that it was chicken. Wouldn't give refund. Cost 10 euro. Terrible customer service.

01/08/2025: Service was ok, friendly staff and quick enough with the order, but very disappointed with the food itself. The "fresh" cod meal was nowhere near good enough. The batter on the cod just wasnt nice at all and left an awful after taste. Removed the batter and just tried the cod, but it had absolutely no flavour so i do not believe it was fresh. Chips were a decen size portion but just didn't taste nice at all. €14 for a meal that i had to throw out about 75% of it into the bin. Very disappointed overall.

14/10/2025: Had breakfast here with mother, sister and grandmother. Food was delicious, good prices and great service too. Not one complaint. Will definitely return here.
