18/09/2024: Edit - Thank you to Lana raheen for dealing with this situation. We had a lovely dinner last night after returning once more. We had a spice box with extra veg which was perfect, gorgeous crispy duck and special fried rice. I’ve updated my review to reflect the usual standard. ——————————————— I am a regular customer of Lana raheen and food is usually great. Tonight I ordered a spice box with extra veg. Usually this comes with peppers, onions, broccoli, all different kinds of veg. Absolutely no vegetables were on my spice box and very little seasoning. The chicken nearly broke my teeth too. The docket had extra veg written on multiple times and still no veg to be seen. Ended up throwing most of it out. Very disappointed.

26/10/2024: Stay away. Burgers tiny, meal is like a snack for a 6-year-old. I would question cleanliness, and staff have zero customer service

10/08/2024: Abrupt and rude girl serving at the counter, absolutely no customer service skills and a complete lack of basic manners... she should not be anywhere where she can directly interact with customers, she's just going to cost the business money. I certainly won't be back after the way I was spoken to today. There's another Chinese literally 30 meters up the road on the same side of the street with good food, lower prices, and friendly staff that are grateful for your business - I went there today instead.

28/10/2024: Never a issue before but to be fair my phone wasn't working,I had my front door open,it was being updated,the pizza came,my friendly dog heard the gate open,jump up and said hello to the driver,I came out straight away,had my dog in my arms straightaway,the driver abused me straight away then,told him keep the food if your going to abuse me,he drop the food and ran away shouting,then someone from the shop rang me after my phone was updated and working and said my dog attacked the driver and they were going to the guards,cause they had video evidence and I explained I had cameras on my property plus my neighbour across the way has camera's too and the driver is lying and I said why are you lying,again why lie.So instead of tying to prove me wrong,they won't take a order,are ye that much afraid to take an order,coward's

21/03/2024: I got a few drinks zingibeer Irish ginger beer & kinnergar scraggy bay pale ale. The bartender was very friendly and truly cared about getting to know the patrons. I believe there is no food served. It's a wonderful place and atmosphere for a drink or more. There is a working fireplace that adds to the lovely atmosphere. A+ all the way around. Love Ireland 🇮🇪

06/10/2024: More than average accommodation, dilapidated floor above the bar, very noisy until 1 a.m. (you can hear everything from the room). Bathroom in common areas. Let us still note the warm welcome from the hosts and the pleasant discussions.

08/07/2024: I was booked in for 4 nights and after the first night it was time to move on. Room in bad need of updating, mould on the wall and power lines running out through the window and to the bedside lamp, the wiring to the bedside lamp didn’t fill me with confidence . Sorry but I wouldn’t be recommending this place, but if it was upgraded it would be a gold mine as it’s in a great location.
