The best restaurants in Limerick

11/03/2025: I always get my take away from here as the value for money is spot on and great quality, very tasty in my opinion. The service is always friendly and fast too. If I had to fault it in any way is that it's cash only and in these times we don't usually carry cash, that is my only little grumble. I love the place❤️

03/04/2025: My veggie kebab was a fun mix of buger patty, fries, onion rings and salad in bread - very different from the German kebab I know! Nevertheless, it was delicious and the garlic dipping sauce was super tasty. It cost €8.

06/05/2025: Locke milkshakes used to be really nice but they must have changed the recipe (id assume because it’s cheaper). I ordered a bueno milkshake and there was literally no bueno pieces in it at all, it was made using syrups which I think is ridiculous for over €5. The taco meat tasted cheap and frozen also. I would definitely not come back here again im shocked at how much the food and milkshakes have changed. Judging by all the other negative reviews here, it looks like locke burger will need to improve drastically. Also the Asian girl working here is really rude and gets orders wrong all the time, I wouldn’t be the first person to complain about her.. she needs training in customer service skills

06/05/2025: Food not as good as it used to be....

06/06/2025: Ordered chips and a kebab meal. The chips were okay slightly overdone. The kebab, however, was one of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The meat tasted like it came straight from the freezer and was just reheated, completely lacking in flavour or freshness. The garlic dip was overpowering and honestly quite sickening. Even the Coca-Cola tasted off, like a cheap foreign knockoff. I can’t speak on their other food, but if it’s a kebab you are after, I would briskly walk the other way. Absolute ripoff for €13.50.

06/04/2025: Absolutely Disgusting Experience – False Accusation & Unfair Treatment I had one of the worst nights of my life at Molly’s in Limerick. I was having a good time, had spent over €100 inside, when a random girl came up to me aggressively and physically pushed me multiple times for no reason. I didn’t react violently—I simply said, “I’ll never hit a woman.” Apparently, staying calm was enough to offend her. Moments later, she ran to security and falsely accused me of stealing her phone. Without asking any questions, the security guard sided with her, claimed he “saw me” stealing it from her pocket (which is 100% false), and kicked me out immediately. No evidence. No chance to defend myself. Just humiliated and thrown out like a criminal. I don’t know what kind of training the staff here have, but letting someone get thrown out based on a random lie—with zero proof—is beyond unacceptable. It’s lazy, biased, and dangerous. I was falsely accused, mistreated, and disrespected for absolutely nothing. I will be requesting CCTV footage and taking this further. Until then, all I can say is: if you care about your dignity, don’t step foot in Molly’s.

11/03/2025: Great staff. Fantastic menu. Good vegetarian options with great ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Have been hit with inconsistent hours and have arrived a few times to find it closed early or not serving food early. Otherwise, a great place

05/03/2025: I have been here many many times. The service is really slow but as it is in UL and is easy for meetings, we usually ended up going. But I have stopped going there from past couple of months after finding pieces of broken glass in my cappuccino. I bit the glass pieces thinking that it was sugar but soon realised. Had to wash it all out. It was scary..we told the staff and they didn’t charge for coffee. But I would have paid for coffee instead having that experience.

20/04/2025: The staff are very kind and friendly best craic around. Food is absolutely brilliant to the point I am so obese because I eat from this Chinese so much because it is so tasty and delicious. I would personally recommend the sweet and sour sauce in crispy shredded chicken, it is absolutely beautiful. This is the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever visited

29/03/2025: Food came in 25 mins. I assumed that would mean it was warm. It wasnt it was cold. It was awful the meat was dry and burned . The bread was cold and the garlic in the chips was curdled.

14/05/2025: Food from here is usually 10/10 but very disappointing tonight ordered food at 20 past 8 and didn’t arrive until 5 to 10 ordered the spicebox and it came cold soggy and tasted reheated tried ringing the restaurant and couldn’t get through no apology for the delay either and food had to be binned complete waste of money.
