22/05/2025: Service was tragically disappointing. I made an order through JustEat at 10PM May 4th and only got a call about the food arriving at 1.30AM. The owner as they addressed to me, as Mr Emal Khan hesitantly apologised and said that the next order I make would be reimbursed. I have called since and the person who picked up the phone was not helpful at all. Telling they needed to confirm with the boss and they’d call me back in 10mins. They didn’t. I called them 20mins later asking about updates and the person on the other end just went silent and refused to speak. They further refused to give me their name and said there was essentially nothing to be done.
01/04/2025: Got the donner kebab and tandoori chicken kebab and both were sooooo tasty. Unfortunately not 5 star as we ordered on Uber and paid for chips but were not sent by restaurant to driver

05/07/2024: Glum surly staff. Did not know I was supposed to collect cutlery myself on ordering, when goats cheese toasted roll with salad was brought to my table, asked for a knife and fork. Told "it's self service and it's over there", on mentioning this rude unhelpful attitude to an older woman behind the counter, she just repeated the other woman's sentence with a stony expression. Last time I met staff like this was in the former East Berlin. No sugar on the table, only sweetener, had to get it from another table, didn't dare ask staff. I'm a disappointed ex-customer (70+)
29/05/2024: Can a Caesar wrap be called a Caesar if it doesn’t contain lettuce, an anchovy Caesar salad dressing? I got a half grilled wrap soggy on the bottom filled with breaded chicken and pesto. Tasted of a chicken and stuffing.

14/02/2025: Had a long wait time for take away coffees - very overpriced - 6 euro for an icing sugared almond flake croissant. Squeezing prices to the absolute limit. 27 euro for three pastries. Killing the golden goose.

10/02/2025: Food was fine, hot, tasty, fresh.
When you are asked to wait until you are seated...a " Hello" would be good... but the guy seemed busy and pointed to the table, dropped the menu and got back to his JUST EAT orders.
The inside wasn't busy .. but takeaway was flying. Good for them! But when a client is actually there... wouldn't it be good if we took priority? After all, they were not sacrificing a % of my bill to Just Eat.
The burger was excellent... combo fries ok.. and coke was fizzy.. not always a guarantee these days.
Toilets were clean but hot taps had no hot water, hand dryer didn't work so .. after food you eat with your hands.. my hands were difficult to clean. Paper towels were provided but the dispenser was broken. Come in lads.. if that's what a client can see.. what's it like behind the scenes!
The FOH guy was very friendly when not bombarded with phone calls and takeaway orders... he deserves a medal..
Managers... get your act together.
An American diner has staff serving tables... you'd stand out from the deluge of chicken shacks etc on O Connell street
I'd have ordered coffee... dessert... and upped my spend.. but the phone orders were far more demanding than an actual client at an actual table and your guy isn't an octopus.
Yes, I'd go again as the food was good... but get your bathrooms sorted and prioritise your walk ins over phone ins.

06/05/2025: The Arches is a charming spot with wonderful food. If you are looking for a non pub experience this is it. Portions are shareable. Great service. Highly recommend.
