11/11/2024: Very strange set up. Don't open as stated. Staff asking strange questions when we rang to query opening times. Avoid
16/07/2024: We ordered food for takeaway from the Castletroy Poppadom and were extremely disappointed with the service, eta, and food. We had ordered Dal Triveni, Mammy's veggi and potato curry and palak paneer. All three had a very bad burnt taste. The palak paneer did not even have a single piece of paneer in it. We also had chicken tikka biriyani, prawns momos, and ragda pattis, which was better than the curries but not the best. We ordered online by 8 pm for pick up at 8:30 pm, which was then changed to 8:45 by them over a call, however there was another 15 to 20 mins wait time after that. Don't think I'm going to get food from here again.

The Oakroom Restaurant
23/07/2024: Extremely over rated and expensive asked waitress if we could substitute a breakfast item for another item was told No! And if we wanted it we wouldhave pay extra. In times where businesses should be glad to get customers a small bit of give and take would go a long way and maybe if staff smiled and remembered Irish are known all over the world for their hospitality . WOULD NOT RETURN .
26/06/2024: Was a place we always liked to stop on our way to Limerick/Clare and liked it for its nice food and atmosphere. Visited a couple of times in the last number of months & was hugely dissatisfied with the experience. Very poor customer service, we were forgotten about on both occasions & almost given out to / grunted at when we asked if our order could be taken. Food is nice but very overpriced. Toilet area could be cleaner & door of one was left open by wait staff so we had a full view of a toilet while eating. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Were sorry we did not make breakfast on Friday, early flight home to Chicago. We would love to get back soon, to see you. If you are ever in the states, please look us up.
