The best restaurants in Limerick

16/03/2026: We were standing in front of the reception, and one guy in green hoodie treat us as air and does not answer after we said hello multiple times. Can’t believe what happened

28/01/2026: The owner and the waitress are very friendly; we even chatted for a while. It's not a very big or busy place, but that's exactly what we were looking for, so we went for lunch around 4:00 PM. The prices are similar to, or a few euros cheaper than, other restaurants in Limerick (€11.60 per person sharing a drink). They prepare it fresh, and it's a decent portion. I hope you can visit Rome again sometime!

20/03/2024: Visit here regularly for takeaway.it's normally about 15 mins when you ring in and ready to collect when you arrive. Food is very good.. Feel kind it has improved recently.

07/09/2026: We stayed as guests on Sunday September 6th and decided to eat in the hotel rather than go out as we were very hungry after travelling. We ordered Fish and Chips and a chicken fillet burger. Three bites into my chicken burger I noticed it was completely raw. Translucent pink chicken which I had unfortunately eaten some of. The staff were apologetic and replaced the meal. I stupidly assumed that they would offer to comp our meals, but I was forced to ask. They only agreed to comp one of the two meals. When I stated my concern about food poisoning I was told I would not get Salmonella as the chicken had been stored in the fridge, which is not how salmonella works. The replacement meal and my partner’s meal were not great, though at least not potentially deadly like the chicken. The steak was barely seared and yet somehow cooked to well done. My partner’s meal was cold.

29/05/2026: Went for dinner while staying at the Maldron hotel. Menus looked nice, but prices are high and food is subpar. Don’t get the shrimp: it was tough and tasted bad. Better yet, go somewhere else. Service was subpar as well. They forgot our drinks and never checked in to refill water. Restaurant is convenient for hotel patrons, but it was not a good experience for me.

13/01/2026: This guy does some seriously devine burgers and his battered fish is orgasmic, does some beautiful fry ups and other tasty dishes too, highly recommend going for a feed, his burgers and his battered fish are seriously worth a trip. The owner is mighty craic too and its a cool old chillout spot inside for a coffee too. 👌👍

28/05/2026: Loses a star for the BBQ ribs. Little bit tough in places which was a shame. Mixed Spicy Satay was good. Lovely service. Thank you
