13/08/2024: Does anybody from Cafe Nero actually act on these reviews , or even read them? The place is badly in need of an overhaul. Furniture is gone very shabby, even dirty. Windows and window sills are filthy with dust, crumbs and flies. Toilets are grubby, no toilet paper, no soap. At 10.30 in the morning that's not acceptable!
Great location, good coffee, nice staff, but not enough to recommend this café at all.
14/06/2024: I’ve been here on numerous occasions as it’s a great location and easily accessible, and the staff are really nice. But unfortunately that’s where the positives end, the place has a real problem with cleanliness. The windows are filthy, the floors are filthy, the tables are sticky with previous spillages, and the toilets are absolutely disgusting, you can smell the odour of urine from outside the toilet doors. The last time we visited I found a long black hair stuck to the bottom of my daughter’s toasted sandwich.

13/09/2024: Really surprised by previous reviews. Seems like they are describing a different restaurant. Really want to be supportive of Irish restaurants but the food was very poor. Service was great and friendly but ultimately you go to a restaurant for the food and if that is bad, it’s hard to recover from that.

18/09/2024: Ordered Beef Korma. Tiny amounts of meat served up in a bowl of sauce. Starter was also a miserable portion. Worst restaurant I have ever visited. Staff genuinely seemed uninterested. Won’t return.
29/08/2024: Just back from a great evening at the restaurant
Service was great, as was the food - skeek kebab and tandoor mix was perfect. Plates were sent back clean.
Lovely, affordable wine list.
Staff 100% welcoming and polite - nothing too much trouble
Restaurant itself is very well located with great view of the river lee and great proximity to the Opera House

06/09/2024: The hotel is excellent, beautiful surrounding and restaurants fantastic.
Had a slight issue with billing but to be fair to the hotel it was sorted very professionally and promptly.
Would definitely recommend.
06/09/2024: Fantastic hotel, clean, beautiful food and amazing cocktails.
Staying here is an experience that really lives up to the expectations with the name ‘The Savoy’.
Staff are professional but friendly.
Breakfast is such a treat and should not be missed.
Dined in the Hamptons Restaurant and it was delicious and reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend this hotel, restaurant and bar.
I stayed in an executive room which gave me access to the executive lounge with refreshments available at no charge.
Rooms are large, comfortable beds with a safe and a fridge.
Lived our 3 nights here and was sad to be leaving.
