16/08/2025: Lovely cafe attached to the Hunt Museum currently holding an exhibition about the life of Richard Harris born in Limerick. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internal and external seating on the banks of the majestic River Shannon

03/07/2025: We had a bbq here yesterday evening for a conference we are hosting in Limerick for about 70 people. The food was amazing. The staff were just brilliant and made everyone feel comfortable. I have to say it was just a beautiful setting. The whole experience was just top class.

14/02/2025: I'm being generous giving a 1 Star, food was late, wrong order no drinks, order vegan pizza had meat on it and chicken, ordered a pizza looked like someone's finger was smudged in it, didn't get my curry chip either, the 2 pizzas were mixed with different orders, Pizza was cold chips were cold normally good, but lately getting worse, I wouldn't be surprised if the delivery drivers friends who where in the car had my 2 drinks and curry chip, very upset,

07/07/2025: Honestly, when the girls were working in the shop you had the best food and lovely service ... But since that " owner " of a clown Pj , baldy guy in his near 60s is in the shop and fired the girls , the food is gone to like in prison , bare portions looking disgusting and then his service absolutely horrible !!!! Ignorant ugly baldy idiot was thinking I be waiting for him to come over and take my order while he is having a long chat on the phone down the back looking straight at me for about 5 minutes. Do not recommend the place when he is in there !!!!!

27/03/2025: Food is good but that old guy over 40’s maybe he is just the worker or the owner I don’t know but he is very disgusting, I can say he is a racist who laugh on people who are not Irish We friends have notice a lot of time he was always rude And last time he also laughed at a person Don’t know what he thinks himself But that’s not good

30/11/2024: Crap food, crap staff, no care given to the overpriced pathetic food served here. Never complain in restaurants as it is not my style but I explained to staff and was ignored. Terrible steak with zero flavour, menu was equally Awful. Utterly disappointing food here. Hotel really should be ashamed of what it is dishing out.

23/11/2024: Food was top class, I had the prawn tacos and I’d highly recommend. Service is always fantastic here, very friendly and helpful. We were served by Ciara. Christmas decor is up which created a great atmosphere.

18/06/2025: On holiday nearby. Stopped first day for lunch. So good we came back tonight. Tasty plentiful food. I had turkey and ham the first time. Plenty of meat with vegetables. Duck stir fry this time. This was full off flavour. Hope to squeeze in another visit before we go back to the UK.

05/07/2024: Glum surly staff. Did not know I was supposed to collect cutlery myself on ordering, when goats cheese toasted roll with salad was brought to my table, asked for a knife and fork. Told "it's self service and it's over there", on mentioning this rude unhelpful attitude to an older woman behind the counter, she just repeated the other woman's sentence with a stony expression. Last time I met staff like this was in the former East Berlin. No sugar on the table, only sweetener, had to get it from another table, didn't dare ask staff. I'm a disappointed ex-customer (70+)

29/05/2024: Can a Caesar wrap be called a Caesar if it doesn’t contain lettuce, an anchovy Caesar salad dressing? I got a half grilled wrap soggy on the bottom filled with breaded chicken and pesto. Tasted of a chicken and stuffing.

15/07/2025: I was in there yesterday for Lunch and witnessed and awful scene were the Owner was shouting at customers and your aggressive tone and the way she spoke to them was an absolute disgrace. Shame on you you are working in the Hospitality Industry and nobody should be treated the way you treated them people. You left a horrible atmosphere in the premises afterwards. P.S the food is expensive and the quality has gone down hill.

11/06/2025: I love this restaurant, it’s one of my favourite in clonmel. I think the dessert menu could be updated again tho.. my favourite dessert was the bubble waffles and I would go every year for my birthday for bubble waffles. I think they really need to be put back on the menu. I also think the restaurant could benefit by adding açai bowls especially in the summer months and how popular they’re becoming it would be a great addition to this already great restaurant.

09/02/2026: Overall very poor. We arrived at 3.00 on a Sunday to be told they were closing at 3.30. Didn’t get a warm fáilte not very good for a tourist village like Adare and this is in the Visitor centre. We got a coffee and walnut cake which was very dry and crumbly, coffees only ok.

07/03/2026: There's no menu on the website. It's unclear what the food is like or how much it costs. Call only. And I don't speak Chinese!

03/10/2025: they forgot half of my food, the other food that arrived tasted like onions but there was meant to be no onion in it, the man argued when i told him he forgot my food and hung up on me !!!

18/07/2024: Hier kun je heerlijk eten en drinken en is vriendelijk geprijsd. Meestal hoef je niet te reserveren, maar even vragen kan geen kwaad, anders ben je snel overgeleverd aan de wat goedkopere eettenten. We hadden al snel besloten hier iedere avond te gaan eten (3 avonden)

08/06/2024: Pleasantly surprised as had no great expectations.Lovely staff. Brie starter in filo pastry was light and very delicious. Cod goujons were nicely battered and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

31/01/2026: Avoid. I'd give zero stars if that was an option. Absolute disgrace of a place horrible inedible food. Waste of money.

25/10/2025: Before I start they did say come back for a refund but I live 20min away. Got a big enough order. Have been going there for years and years. But I'm officially never going there again. Completely new crew working there tonight I never saw before.Bring back the old staff. Got 2pc chicken and chicken fillet burger and all 3pcs of chicken were stone cold. I mean fridge stone cold. Also fillet in burger when broken open was full of bones Rang them and and they said they would refund me but that's not the point. Paying good money and having to drive 20min back to get refunded doesn't make things any better. Will not be wasting my time nor my money there anymore. Honestly don't waste yer time go down to Mirellas

10/08/2025: Attended a birthday party here, great music, friendly staff , very clean toilets and there is a large smokers area outside. Great craic was had by all up dancing all night.
