30/11/2024: Crap food, crap staff, no care given to the overpriced pathetic food served here. Never complain in restaurants as it is not my style but I explained to staff and was ignored. Terrible steak with zero flavour, menu was equally Awful. Utterly disappointing food here. Hotel really should be ashamed of what it is dishing out.

23/11/2024: Food was top class, I had the prawn tacos and I’d highly recommend. Service is always fantastic here, very friendly and helpful. We were served by Ciara. Christmas decor is up which created a great atmosphere.

03/04/2025: I have driven past De Bucket for fifty years but yesterday was the first time I called in with my wife for dinner on our way home from Kildimo. It was a revelation. A charming and very historic pub which I had often heard about but didn’t have an opportunity to visit before yesterday. It’s a very welcoming old place and the service and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was excellent and beautifully presented., I f yesterday was our first visit it certainly won’t be our last . Full marks.

24/02/2025: This is a fantastic pub and restaurant with great food at a reasonable price in Co. Limerick. The ambience is lovely. Highly recommended!

16/04/2025: Cet établissement n’en a pas l’air, mais il propose une belle vue, surtout si on peut manger en terrasse. Le fish & chips était savoureux, de même que le burger. Le personnel est sympathique. Une bonne adresse !

10/02/2025: RAW CHICKEN !!!!! I went for a meal here today and ordered the chicken burger which I’ve had before. It was RAW, cooked in some parts and pink in other parts, raw juices coming from the burger. 2 lovely waitresses agreed with me that it looked pink, they offered me something else to eat or a refund, I chose a refund. The burger brought it to who I believe was the manager on the floor who very rudely stormed towards me and said “THAT IS COOKED”. I did not want to make a scene so I just walked away, everyone eating and working in the restaurant was in shock that the manager had been so rude and abrupt. I paid for the full meal which I did not eat and was not given the refund I was offered. I will never come here again.

09/05/2025: Always received with a smile and a warm welcoming, absolute great food quality, the takeaway shop could do with a bit of maintenance but this doesn’t affect the great quality of the service

18/07/2024: Hier kun je heerlijk eten en drinken en is vriendelijk geprijsd. Meestal hoef je niet te reserveren, maar even vragen kan geen kwaad, anders ben je snel overgeleverd aan de wat goedkopere eettenten. We hadden al snel besloten hier iedere avond te gaan eten (3 avonden)

08/06/2024: Pleasantly surprised as had no great expectations.Lovely staff. Brie starter in filo pastry was light and very delicious. Cod goujons were nicely battered and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
