22/11/2025: Well, all I can say Lorna knocked my daughters birthday cake out of the park this year. Again.
I've been getting my daughters cakes in there since she was 7.
Jasmine always does a detailed sketch of what she wants her cake to look like.
Each year Lorna makes it look just like Jasmines sketch.
And the attention to detail is 2nd to none.
Lorna,you're fantastic!
Highly, highly recommend.
Oh and her Mother is lovely to. 🙂
16/09/2025: I ordered a birthday cake and Lorna really did exceed expectations!! It was incredibly delicious, very professionally designed and turned out to be a real crowd pleaser. Highly recommend ordering with her! Thank you, Lorna.

24/06/2026: place has gone down hill.
needs a renovation. loose wall tiles held on with sticky tape.
got chips that were cooked ages ago. watched the owner clean around the food prep area with a dirty old cloth and he used the same 1 on the floor and then without washing his hands he took by hand my sausages and burger out of the freezer. very unhygienic practice in 2026. i asked for ketchup and they squurted some into a small bag. used to be a nice shop but not anymore.

The Old Post Cafe & Grill

15/07/2025: Finally managed to make a pit stop here on a long cross country journey. I remember it from its Post Office days long ago but wow how it’s changed. Such a transformation. Lovely decor , very attentive staff. I just wanted a quick toastie so didn’t explore the menu but it did seem extensive. Place buzzing. Totally recommend.
13/06/2025: Mega impressed with this coffee shop. Immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and decorated with a lovely atmosphere. Very friendly (and busy!) staff. Quality of the food and coffee was exceptional. If I could have swept it all up and brought it back with me I would have done!! Well worth stopping here.
