12/12/2024: This week we went to the restaurant that does not look or act like a gourmet restaurant at all. It is very small and to get to the bathroom you have to go through the kitchen. The table is not set properly and is not cleaned between dishes. The food itself is very small and completely tasteless. We tasted both starters, main dishes and desserts that did not satisfy us at all and were within the deal of 78 euros per person. A lot of money for food that is not worth half of it. Also, there was no proper service in the restaurant. We will not return

11/12/2024: Quizás nuestras expectativas eran demasiado altas pero no volvería aquí. No es un restaurante de destino. La popularidad de ETTO es incuestionable, pero el tráfico ha pasado factura a la decoración. Me senté en una mesa tambaleante, mirando una pared blanca cubierta de marcas de rozaduras al lado de un panel de pintura negra desconchada. Es codo con codo con tus vecinos de comedor. Ryan Air se sonrojaría con esta densidad de asientos. El rollo calentado se quemó en el fondo. El queso recién hecho comenzó a ser helado... helado frío en diciembre! El filete vino con un aviso de espera de 45 minutos de la camarera. Con el menú restringido a su menú de Navidad establecido esperaba mucho mejor rendimiento. Disfrutará de los talentos expuestos tanto en frente de la casa como en la cocina, pero marcará sus expectativas.

04/01/2025: Food lovely. Service was not fast but left plenty of time to enjoy courses. Main restaurant area was a little cold. Overall though, highly recommended.

17/12/2024: Absolutely wonderful experience on our first visit to Nevins, Food was fantastic ,we had a truly memorable dinner, all the staff made us feel very relaxed throughout the visit. We stayed overnight in a lovely comfortable room and to top the visit of we had a gorgeous breakfast. Huge thanks to Nevin and all the team we will definitely be back 👍

18/12/2024: The best full Irish breakfast I’ve had in years. All the other food is probably good too but I keep having the breakfast. Fresh and delicious. Nice staff and cheerful vibes. Perfect for Sunday brunch.

13/01/2025: Birthday night out. The restaurant and ambience are lovely but the food and service are lacking. After taking our orders for food and wine, we didn't see iir server again, it was as if the staff all left at 9.30 pr else they avoided our table because there was an hour gap between our starters and main course. The food was good but not up to it's price point by a long distance..it's nice pub food not fine dining as it is priced. Our waitress calculated and scoffed at our tip beside us, but the service and food were a huge disappointment on what was a special occasion, so we gave what we felt was a fair tip for that. I wouldn't recommend

11/11/2024: What can I say the most amazing meal Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. Have eaten here for dinner a few times always fantastic , Staff are always so attentive and friendly. But the Sunday lunch is on another level 3 courses for €42 with such amazing choice something for everyone we were spoilt for choice. The restaurant was at full capacity but calm and efficient staff made it so relaxed. The fabulous fire so cozy and just adds to the lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back hopefully before Christmas if we’re lucky it’s not booked out. Can’t recommend highly enough . Hats off

08/10/2024: Amazing experience from start to finish. Loved the bar area where you sit before you go to your table. Food was unbelievable. Never had food so tasty and looked fantastic. Staff had a great knowledge of the menu and wine available. Cant wait to go back.

09/01/2025: Ordered a seafood curry ! Which was advertised as clams, mussels ,prawns , and crab claws ! The dish took over 30 mins to arrive at the table , and there were no prawns ,one crab claw, and the majority was mussels , very disappointed

04/01/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant and was attended to by the waiter Vinicius. His service was exceptionally courteous, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend the establishment and wish to commend the outstanding service provided by this employee.

05/01/2025: I found a hair in my plate. The waitress changed it for another one, she was lovely. Once we were going to pay, they asked me if I wanted to pay separately or together. I said separately and they charged me all, another mistake, but it was ok. My complaint is for the blonde women (older staff) was very rude to us, with 0 customer service. I saw her attending the guys next to my table and she was horrible to them! I've been there good few times and I brought friends and family, but today was the last time. Never again. Now I can understand why there's always new staff. Horrible experience and very disappointing.

13/01/2025: Lovely staff, great service, nice view, poor food. One of the least inspiring and appetising roast lunches I have eaten in a very long time. Small amounts of overcooked and beige food. Packet gravy. Everything mashed up. No green or coloured veg to be seen ( a tomato..?) Not tasty and not worth the money. Avoid.

11/01/2025: Fantastic venue, fantastic piping hot food and reasonably priced. Excellent service too. Highly recommend a steak and chocolate/orange cake for desert.
