02/11/2024: Got the traditional Brittany pancakes, they were tasty and so fast to arrive! The place has a great atmosphere, but I’d say the highlight would be the waitress called Romane, she was very friendly and kind. I will definitely be going back!

20/10/2024: Popped in for two vanilla lattes. Lovely ladies behind the counter, fast and easy service. Fantastic coffee, made with care and reasonably priced, plus we got a little chocolate with it. 10/10 best coffee in Loughrea.

02/11/2024: A total rip off… my friend and I shared a cheese and meat sharing platter. 4 slices of very thin salami, 3 pieces of cheese, 2 chicken balls and 1 piece of black pudding sliced in 2… hard bread and not great crackers. €22… the sauce that was supposed to be there wasn’t. We had to ask for it… they were out of it. Crab starter €17… small, not great. (Say no more) I’m over from London, a tourist the city needs. I can absolutely see why Ireland is not attracting the tourists they need. I will not return

20/10/2024: Great pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Staff are banter full, friendly and accommodating. Food feeds the soul and the specials are a treat!

14/11/2024: Went here for lunch. Seafood chowder to start which was delicious. Both of us wanted large plates of crab claws which were very expensive and not worth the money. Addressed this with the waitress who seemed to agree but said they don’t make anything on them and told me that at this time of year they were small and “probably were frozen”. Nevertheless took the full price of them when paying. Really? Why serve them if they know this? It’s being greedy and dishonest… there isn’t any need for it!

10/11/2024: Went to this restaurant on 9th of November 24 with a friend and did not have a good experiences from the start of our meal to the end of it... Got prawn Pil Pill to start which was just ok and served with stodgy bread that was uneddible, we got crab claws and fish and chips for mains.. The crab claws which were double claws in cream sauce were absolutely unmanageable and disgusting and should not be severed to a customer like that...The Fish and Chips were burnt beyond recognition full of greese and again unedible..Then to top it of we ordered Irish Coffee, big mistake, undrinkable....Staff were pleasant but never once came to the table to ask us was everything ok.. Now to paying the bill, I was given the bill, told how much it was and the card machine was coming my direction without even been asked was our meal ok... I was not a happy customer so I brought it to the attention of the person who I was paying who I think was the manger and her name was SUSIE, I found her very pleasant and accepting of my complaint and she dealt with it in a very professional manner... Well done Susie.. From my experience of the food it would be 0 stars, and I would not recommend it to anyone...

17/10/2024: Very disappointed. We have been here many times but not after today. My sister was given the wrong bill and when she said it was wrong, the waiter got aggressive. The first bill was not itemised and he was very snarky when she asked for an itemised bill. The first bill was €30 more than the correct bill. She asked for the manager. He said it was just a mistake but didn't apologise for either the mistake or the attitude of the waiter. We will take our business elsewhere and we won't be back.

27/10/2024: We were there for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful. Food, service and price was excellent. We are definitely going back as a destination rather than walking past and will we try this. My wife's supercool salad was awesome. I have had the taco in many places and it was more expensive and unpleasant jalapeños. Here they were fresh and wonderful.

08/10/2024: I have been coming to this restaurant for years now and I love the consistently good quality of the food and the decent prices when compared to other places in the area. Came back with my friends for my birthday yesterday, and again: very nice service and beautiful food, everybody loved it, what more can you want, especially in a spoilt place like Dalkey were competition is so fierce? Will return again and again, I am sure.

08/10/2024: Amazing experience from start to finish. Loved the bar area where you sit before you go to your table. Food was unbelievable. Never had food so tasty and looked fantastic. Staff had a great knowledge of the menu and wine available. Cant wait to go back.

01/11/2024: What a great restaurant from A & his team. They are super caring and attentive to you. The food is super fresh and a treat to enjoy. Tasty dishes. Not just the standard that everyone knows by now. Definitely worth a visit but don't forget to make a reservation.

25/10/2024: Class meal, from the prompt email reply in booking to the end of the meal this was class! You get a choice of menus, picked a starter of mushrooms and mussels strange combo but really tasty thanks to the waitress for the recommendations , prawn curry with basmati and an extra of alloli fries (not required) the portions are huge…..then the best for last baked Alaska omg delicious 😋 so worth a visit sorry it’s taken so long to venture back here, won’t be as long this time!

07/11/2024: No words can express the absolutely perfection that we experienced at Waterford Castle for our daughter’s wedding! It was beyond our hopes and dreams. They seamless took care of all the pieces for our stay and ceremony. We seriously felt like family. Gillian is the most professional, amazing, conscientious coordinator you could ask for. Her attention to detail and true caring showed in everything she did! Sally was so lovely. Fiona made us feel so well taken care of. Ryan served us well, if you know what I mean!!😉🥃🍸. Antonio was so helpful! Micheal is a gem and always put a smile on our face! Needless to say we loved our time at the castle!! ❤️
