22/12/2025: Came in here to get some Christmas dinner as its a nice old style pub . When the plate arrived the food looked well presented . But I discovered there was only one slice of ham underneath the turkey and at the bottom was lots of mashed potatoes in order to look as if your were getting a lot . I did mention it when I paid as no one came to my table during the meal .

23/12/2025: You cannot beat the Fran Well . Always the best vibe and the nicest staff - blessed to have this place in Cork it didn’t get much better. Absolutely love the beer garden, possibly the in the country (warm and cosy all year round) and one of the best pizzas too.

13/11/2025: All the staff and regulars here are pretty great, and quick service at the bar although it’s popular so can be hard to squeeze in. They do a lot of live music as well and the performers always bring the best energy to the place. Classic snacks available, and I think if memory serves right they have mulled wine around Christmas, I keep trying to ask when it is. 😂

15/12/2025: Went here over the weekend, staff were very friendly and attentive. Dishes were very large portions, the lamb and steak were both lovely and tender. Would highly recommend going here for a light lunch or a roast dinner, well worth the price!
