26/10/2024: I had the pleasure of attending a family event recently at the Cellar Bar. I must say from start to finish my impressions were well exceeded. The service was fabulous. The food choice was superb and was very tasty. I would certainly recommend this venue for functions.

26/08/2024: I recently visited this bar and it was a great decision! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. What truly made the evening memorable was the bartender, Noel. Noel is a master of his craft. His cocktails are not only delicious but also visually stunning. It's clear that he has a real passion for mixing drinks and isn't afraid to get creative. I particularly appreciated his friendly and attentive service. Noel greeted us warmly right away and used his expertise to guide us through the menu. Whether you're looking for a classic cocktail or something new, Noel always has the perfect recommendation. Overall, it was an excellent evening, and I highly recommend this bar, especially if Noel is behind the counter. I’ll definitely be coming back!

28/10/2024: We just spent four nights at the Bridge Inn in Dungloe and were just so impressed with everything Keith and his amazing team have done to create a dog friendly haven for those travelling with pooches. The studio apartments are extremely modern, beautifully decorated and really comfortable to stay in. And the bar has everything you need for a stay, including pool table, lovely food and amazing love music. The icing on the cake was the genuine friendliness of Keith, Corey and the rest of the staff working at the Bridge Inn who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Our Lille doggie Harlow particularly enjoyed free reign in the bar and lounge area. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We will definitely be back and this time hope to being the sun with us 🤩

26/10/2024: Was treated to a stay for my birthday at the Bridge Inn. From the minute we arrived, we where made to feel welcome by all staff. Bar was homely, clean, warm (big fire lit), dog friendly and food was amazing. Accommodation was to a very high standard, and equipped with all essentials for our stay. No noise during the night. At night the bar was buzzing, entertainment great and bar staff still remained friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely be back for another visit. Thanks Carmel & Shane..

10/12/2024: I LOVE donuts and these sourdough donuts were some of the best I've ever had. The dough was soft and dense and the filling was the full of flavor and not too sweet. I would eat these every day.

10/12/2024: Fabulous late lunch for six after the NSO Christmas Lunchtime Concert. Sea bass, burger and Braised Beef all excellent. Lovely dessert selection and exceptional cheeseboard. Highly recommend this place……I’ve booked again for Christmas Dinner in a few weeks time👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

19/11/2024: This is a local pub. It is reasonably priced. It has a lovely lounge, a cocktail bar upstairs and an old-fashioned bar and snug. Dogs welcome in the bar. It's a place you feel safe and welcome popping in for a drink as a woman on your own.

06/12/2024: Every week on Tuesday after my 5 a side football I turn up to O’Reillys on Tara Street. Each week we come for one or two pints and go home. This has been a tradition for three of us for over 4 months. We arrived today and we were turned away as one of us was wearing a tracksuit. Bare in mind we all work next door and bring different company each week. To be turned away in such a mean manner was quite upsetting considering it was our local pub.

02/12/2024: Myself and my wife booked here for drinks and food to round off a great day in Dublin. We confirmed attendence by email after we received an email from VCC the day before. I did think the additional follow up phonecall to us on the day of attendence was a bit overkill and basically informing us that there was a 20 minute grace period where our table would be held but lost if we were later then 20 minutes. We were also informed that we had to be over 23. All in all the surroundings of the VCC were cosy and intimite and the staff were amazing and really accommodating. The reason I only give the VCC 3 stars is as follows. We ordered the charcuterie board and cheeseboard initially and the waitress suggested that might be a lot for the size of the table and suggested perhaps order the charcuterie board and they would add some cheese to it. This came out and it had 4 small triangles of one cheese and 2 small wedges of brie. To my horror when the bill came we had been charged €11 for the small cheese addition. A full cheese board is €19???! Unfortunately I only noticed this outside the restaurant and was kicking myself I didn't bring it up with management. I was too busy chatting. Another downside is the service charge of 10% is automatically on the bill. A bit cheeky. I understand if this is automatic for large groups. But the main grudge I have is right after I payed the bill of €145.09 and still had half of our second bottle of wine to drink we were asked if we could vacate our table within 5 minutes!!! This was at 9pm and most of the tables around us were empty. We politely smiled at the waitress and pointed at our full glasses and bottle of wine and she walked away. I enjoyed the night and the staff were lovely but I am angry about this bill etc in retrospect. I feel like I want to call in and collect the rest of my cheese board.

18/11/2024: Poor service when it comes to delivery. Ordered and waiting for 25 mins to get it picked up by the delivery driver. They say it takes 7 mins to bake but they don't mention it takes 30 mins to get it picked up by the delivery driver. Pls dont accept orders if you cant find a delivery driver. 11/12/2024: The atmosphere is really good. There is often, live music and the lighting is really good. The drinks are average. Overall, I recommend it.

26/11/2024: Parched during a show. Ruined our evening. The bar was closed during the set and 6 mins before showtime. People should be able to silently and respectfully avail of a drink. Won't be coming back anytime soon. Furthermore, the sound was not good and the lighting was unsettling. Thanks for explaining. I understand the situation now. My apologies for being so annoyed. There’s just nothing worse then attending comedy, dry.
