15/07/2025: An absolute favourite, this one! It's weird that a "secret" door and a speakeasy vibe gives me so much pleasure, but it totally worked on me - making this visit feel like an event or adventure 😍 The staff were really nice and accommodating! They do offer non-alcoholic drinks as well, with a full flavour profile and catered to your tastes. Cocktails, and not just a soda in a glass 💚 The music is suited to both the mood of the place and the 1920s era they're trying to emulate. An interesting menu (complete with "a history of the cocktail") , comfortable seating (plush chairs and sofas), smooth lighting (candlelight and soft lights), and good food (we had a lovely and extremely reasonably priced cheese board with fruit, jam/chutney, an assortment of lovely cheeses, crackers, vegetables and olives/chilis. Cocktails will always cost you, but at approx €16 per drink (and the quality of the drinks) this was very reasonable. A great night and a place beyond "a regular bar".

12/07/2025: Recommended by a work colleague. Reservations are highly recommended. The cocktails were great. The speakeasy-style ambiance is fantastic. The VCC is definitely worth a visit.

18/07/2025: The donuts were similar to supermarket donuts. The chocolate topping was good. It wasn't too sweet. But the donut itself really didn't have the sweetness and freshness you'd expect for a €3.90 price tag. Beyond that, the welcome, especially Juan, was super nice and welcoming!

30/06/2025: Disappointing Experience – Misleading Information on Website I recently visited the Marker Rooftop in Dublin with a group of friends for a hen's lunch, and unfortunately, the experience left us quite disappointed. When we checked the group menu on their website beforehand, there was no clear mention of a requirement to be a group of six or more or that we had to call ahead to pre-order. These conditions were only brought to our attention when we arrived, and we were taken aback. The staff informed us that this information was on the website, but it took them a while to even find. I cannot even find myself. We felt this was very misleading and not transparent at all. If we had known about these requirements in advance, we would have made other plans. To make matters worse, we found the staff's tone quite condescending when explaining the situation, which made the experience more frustrating. Eventually, they accommodated us, but the whole situation left a sour note on what was supposed to be a celebratory afternoon. Overall, the location and ambiance are lovely, but the lack of clarity on their website and the dismissive attitude we encountered were disappointing. I hope they make the group dining requirements clearer going forward to avoid other guests feeling caught out like we did.

16/07/2025: Absolutely incredible experience! The food was bursting with flavor, we ordered both stews and the portions were very generous. Around 8 PM a live music show began, featuring amazing traditional Irish music that created such a vibrant atmosphere. Later, around 10 PM, we were treated to a fantastic Irish dance performance that was truly unforgettable. The service was also outstanding: fast, attentive, and every member of the staff was warm and friendly. I really recomendado this place

15/07/2025: Ordered the Guinness stake pie it was on the menu the waiter told us it had been taken off checked menu online and outside both said Guinness steak pie they gave us some sort of casserole with very little meat manly all vegetables won’t be back if not serving steak pie should be taken off the menu

Personal súper amable que es increíblemente apasionado y conocedor de cafés, aparatos de café y preparación... así que antes de probar mi café sabía que iba a estar perfectamente elaborado. Que, en los días de pagar casi 5 € por un café, debería ser! Nos sirvieron dos blancos planos de avena perfectos. Tantos lugares equivocan este orden o promedio y el suyo era perfecto. Esperamos volver para probar sus diferentes mezclas y probar la comida que también se veía muy bien! Gracias chicos.

14/06/2025: Good place. I came here most times I visited Dublin over the years. The €5 pints have gone however. Tonight I paid €7 for a Guinness, and that's a big hike from when I was last here. It was never going to last I guess.
