10/11/2025: I visited The Wool Shed (upstairs area), and twice the bar staff served me a Guinness without filling the pint properly. In one case, the bartender served the glass and walked away immediately, so I grabbed it — but the pour still wasn’t completed. It left a poor impression, as the service felt rushed and below standard. I hope management looks into this, because proper pours and consistent service matter to customers.

09/11/2025: Perfect sports bar to watch the Springboks in Dublin, you’d almost think it’s based somewhere in South Africa. Huge screens everywhere, lively atmosphere and delicious wings.

16/11/2025: A lovely brunch spot with creative dishes and a relaxed setting. Their Middle Eastern–inspired menu stands out, and the coffee is consistently good. Service is quick and friendly. It’s busy on weekends, so reservations help. Perfect for long chats or casual solo breakfasts.

13/11/2025: Had 2 amazing brunches here last weekend! We got the full brother hubbard (my favorite), the turkish eggs menemen with added chorizo, the pulled pork benedict (my boyfriend’s favorite), and the lemon chicken sandwich. Everything was super tasty and the cappuccinos were great too! Our waitress was super lovely so whenever we’re back in Dublin we’ll be sure to go back again :)

22/11/2025: Slipping standards. Used to be a 5 star. Was there the other day,young staff have no clue what to do,take ages,desert was just a cheap,hard,frozen brownie that cost me €10. Was not even asked was everything ok...the card machine was just put in front of me! 😂😂😂🤡

30/11/2025: Came here for a carvery. Roast beef was tough and dry. the staff serving carvery were extremely rude.

18/11/2025: I'm not entirely sure what we ate, but after a few pints (maybe a few too many), those little turnovers became the best food in the world. The fact that it opened late saved our stomachs.

07/11/2025: Terrible service. We were served by a girl who, on top of overcharging us, got annoyed, and it's not the first time she's served us so rudely…

20/10/2025: We stopped by The Jar with the kids, tempted by their wood-fired pizzas — and to be fair, they were really good, even if the choice was quite limited. However, the dessert experience was a real letdown. It tasted more like something bought in a shop and simply baked, and definitely didn’t justify the price. The biggest surprise? It’s the first place we’ve ever been to that doesn’t serve coffee! Having desserts on the menu, we naturally expected to enjoy them with a cup of coffee, not a glass of water. The interior is stylish and clearly reflects its main identity — a cocktail bar. The music, atmosphere, and overall vibe are made for young people enjoying a night out rather than families. So, while pizzas are worth a try, I wouldn’t recommend The Jar as a family-friendly dining spot.
