04/04/2024: Very atmospheric place in the heart of Temple Bar. I was only drinking in the afternoon.

04/04/2024: Very nice address, the place is very pleasant, the service friendly, and the dishes delicious. I recommend the Irish stew à la Guiness... €18.50 per dish. The restaurant is on the first floor, you can enjoy the concerts, without the crowds on the ground floor and at a very pleasant noise level.

03/04/2024: We stayed in the hotel for one night in a beautiful sea view room & the view did not let us down. The room was lovely, clean, comfy big bed with a small fridge & tea coffee making facilities. We had a lovely experience from start to finish and the staff were friendly too. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful.

01/04/2024: First time staying here as an adult for my birthday with my partner. The room was spotless bed very comfy and room was cool you could turn down the heating. Lovely sea view room and good value for money. The pool is disappointing there is too many children and adults can’t enjoy it properly. The spa was lovely although beware of booking mud chamber I was very disappointed I was expecting a bath but it isn’t one. Spa staff are a little laid back and don’t explain the treatments very well. Upon arrival the lady wasn’t very friendly spoke in a strong foreign accent and told me to secure my room I had to use a certain type of card. Overall could have been more welcoming upon arrival. All other staff were amazing and accommodating. The staff left me a birthday card in my room. Overall I’d stay here again but there is some slight issues the hotel could work on.

30/03/2024: The food at the restaurant was just okay, and there were not many vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, the service was also poor during my visit. One of my friends was celebrating her birthday and brought a cake to share with everyone. However, the staff messed up the cake and did not have the decency to inform us. As a result, they cut the cake before we could sing "Happy Birthday" or blow out the candles. It was clear that something had gone wrong with the cake because the first five pieces were much larger than the rest and not nicely cut.

18/03/2024: Asked for Turkey & Ham but reckon it was bacon & very fatty. Mash & Turkey was luke warm...didn't really enjoy the meal tbh

02/11/2023: Delicious food! Our host Nora was very kind and made us feel so welcome and accommodated. Only improvement would be that it was quite loud for the dining area. Be sure to taste the local brewed beers.

11/03/2024: Seems to be a tourist place Howth. We arrived on Sunday lunchtime on the Dart the train was heaving and it was raining everybody was looking for something to eat and drink, but all the pubs didn't open till 12.30?????

10/05/2024: Freezing cold, no heating on at all inside was wearing a coat. You pay enough to drink here (rip off) and they still refuse to put on any kind of heat when it is 10pm and cold out. Barmen also try to scam you to buy more expensive minerals. Cheapskates and scammers. Terrible atmosphere, all old posh people who don't know how to smile. Staff clearly hate it here too.

23/04/2024: Really exceptional food here. I was quite surprised as it’s a pub in a nice suburb of Dublin. Many restaurant chefs of Dublin should go and taste the quality of food here.
