The best restaurantsof pizza & pasta

16/02/2025: We were driving home and this place popped up on google maps. We love The Sopranos so it was a sign! Well when I say the food was amazing, it really was! The pizza was made with pride and everything was super fresh! Lovely couple, great friendly service and the food was gorgeous! We’ll definitely be back without a doubt!

13/03/2025: Vying for the top spot of best pizza in Dublin with Vice in my opinion. Loads of pizzas to choose from with classics and more quirky choices (black pudding and dark chocolate was a big hit with one of my friends) Solid drink options with craft beer and even a decent non-alcoholic selection. I’d advise booking in advance, especially for weekends because it was jammed when we went on a Saturday night.

16/03/2025: We had such a great experience for bottomless brunch at revolution! Anuka was a phenomenal waitress - we’ve had her several times and she’s always fantastic!

16/02/2025: We had valentines dinner our starter plates (we had the sharing platter ALL FROZEN FOOD)were taken off us while we still had food in our mouths(I found this quite rude)the "expensive glass of wine we handed back as it was worse than aldi and was still charged for it my main course was microwaved as the pasta was so hot it left a burn mark on my finger the focaccia bread was the only nice part of dinner the melted cheese not melted had ta ask to cook it the waitress was not plesant atall quite rude in fact oh and they charge if you have gluten restrictions they charge extra

16/02/2025: Had a fantastic time at Capones Bar & Restaurant in Galway with my friends! We didn’t have a reservation, but luckily, we got a table. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax. We ordered IPA, cocktails, pizza, burger, and pasta, and everything was top-notch. The drinks arrived first—beautifully presented, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. When the food came out, it was hot, fresh, and full of flavor—every dish was cooked to perfection! The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the great experience. We finished our meal with a sundae for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. Overall, an amazing experience! Highly recommend visiting with friends or family. It does get busy in the evening, so booking a table in advance is a good idea. Will definitely be back!

26/01/2025: Definitely recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends as I was just able to nab the last spot at the window bar. Pizzas are generous in size so if you are going solo make a plan for the leftovers if possible!

25/02/2025: Got a order, was wrong driver who was very nice said she would bring it back, then a Polish girl rang asking what was wrong with it, I explained it was wrong and she was so ignorant on the phone, so that's me finished with them

17/03/2025: Myself and 2 friends came here for dinner to celebrate a special occasion on the 15th March. We found the food was pretty good, the salad with the starters honestly could have been much better though. We felt the service was awful, the staff were rude, (especially our server), very disinterested, unfriendly and unpleasant and quite frankly very stuck up and obnoxious. It's a shame as it could have been a lovely experience otherwise! I wouldn't be able to recommend this restaurants to family or friends based on our meal here.

08/03/2025: I'm feeling bad leaving a 1 star but it would have been my review. I mitigate it because it could have been sheer bad luck, but I don't think I'll be back anyway. I had asked for a lemon meringue pie and unfortunately it tasted like gas. I had to fight a bit the waiters to convince them, and they had to bring it to the chef in the back to confirm I wasn't inventing it. They eventually defrosted another one and served it but I'd say overall quite a bad experience. Can't vouch for the coffee.

14/03/2025: We stopped in here because the ambience looked amazing. We had such a great time!! The pizza, thin crust great toppings - just like Napoli!…. the salad- the tiramisu !! Wow… service from the staff was all outstanding. Italian music playing in the background ambience are wonderful! Robert and Alessandro waited on us and made our experience memorable. Would highly recommend!

19/03/2025: We had the pleasure of having Laguna as our caterers for both our Gurdwara wedding and the reception at The Pelligon in Feb 2025, and we couldn't be more impressed with their service. Nitin, our event manager, was fantastic throughout the entire planning stage. His expertise was invaluable, helping us think of and plan for things we might not have anticipated. He was always professional, readily available for a chat, and promptly responded to any queries we had. On the day of our wedding reception, the entire team at Laguna was exceptional. We didn't have to worry about a thing, as we were confident we were in good hands. Everything was set up on time, both at the Gurdwara and The Pelligon. At the Gurdwara, they organized a great buffet system on both sides to avoid long queues, which our guests greatly appreciated. Nitin even brought us a couple of cocktails just before our reception entrance to help settle our nerves—a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the food and service throughout the night. Everything ran smoothly and on time, with no complaints whatsoever. We highly recommend Laguna to anyone looking for top-notch catering services for their special event.

07/02/2025: For some reason Google flagged this review. I hope they tell me why. There is nothing here that goes against their policies. This was an honest and mostly complimentary review. And yes, it was two years ago, but let's have integrity here. The pizza at PI is very good, and the crust is probably the best crust I have had in Dublin. I always get their margherita with extra cheese. I am a white pizza person. So my only gripe is that there is only one white pizza on their menu, and both times I have had their white pizza (a different one back in 2019 and present day) it hasn't been great. One was swimming in balsamic vinegar, and the current one is dry and uneventful. I saw pictures on the TA reviews of a time when they had a pretty good looking white pizza. I hope they bring that one back. I will add one more star once there's a decent white pizza on the menu.
