The best restaurantsof pizza & pasta

08/09/2026: We love eating here. The food is fantastic - fresh, full of flavour and great portion sizes. The service is excellent and the staff are so friendly. Grzegorz and Co. really make an effort to ensure customers are looked after and have a great dining experience.

08/09/2026: I popped in here on Aug 28th to treat my two boys after their first day back at school. There is a large menu by the counter, but they don't want you to stand there and actually look at it- let's just say the chef could not find a mannerly way of asking us to clear the aisle. The 'waitress' offered a small table for.. two. Due to the lovely weather I said we'd try the outside table- well she could not hide her disappointment at having to provide service outside- why have an outside table then? After we'd picked our pizzas I went back inside to drop back the menus. As the waitress was passing by I politely called her attention and said we were all set to order. Keep in mind that the place was mostly empty. She completely ignored me..I mean..Completely. She then walked over to take an order from a couple with a cute baby that had arrived in well after we had. So, no queue system then I guess? A little embarrassed in front of my boys, before things got any worse, I decided to take them home- you learn to read the warning signs over the years. So, in my opinion they don't like to see people with children coming in. If you have family with you I would avoid. Now, maybe there were a series of misunderstandings, as the waitress had gone to the toilet, and maybe she had just forgotten about us. I mean, good people would never view customers as the same as the dirt on their shoes, ..would they? (Can't rate food).

09/09/2026: Beautiful seating area outside perfect for summer days. Fresh delicious pizza. I will say there aren’t many drink options but still an amazing experience regardless

07/09/2026: I went in with an open mind knowing it was french style, but the flavours were overly sweet and it was not the gourmet dish I was expecting. With that said, the place has a lovely ambience and staff were friendly. Go for the pastries, not for the pizza.

27/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas to go. An Italian guy served us, but when we picked up the pizzas, a Spanish guy helped us. I asked him if he needed the receipt to check our order, and he said no. I insisted, and he told me he knew what we’d ordered, so we trusted him. When we got to our picnic spot, they didn’t give us the sauce we’d paid for, nor any napkins. It was only €2 plus a few cents, so we didn’t go back . In any case, always double check your order, even if the server insists he knows what you ordered.

25/06/2026: Gabriel provided outstanding service from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. His recommendations were excellent, and he made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Gabriel! we’ll definitely be back!

13/09/2026: The pizza taste was ordinary, nothing too bad or too good, the same as ceasar salad, but carbonara pasta was a small portion and extreeemely salty 😵‍💫🧂

09/08/2026: Super fun night at The Gallery. The food was just great, service so friendly and wine and vermouth - delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the community spirit. Can't wait to return.

08/08/2026: Good quality local and foreign products, including wines and an amazingly delicious selection of mostly Irish cheese. The owner made us feel very welcome by coming outside to meet us and to tell us more about the products, which then developed into a very nice conversation about all kinds of interesting topics. Overall, an excellent experience!

08/09/2026: Excellent food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The parmesan fries were perfection. The bartender didn't have exactly what wanted but came up with a killer alternative.

06/09/2026: When I got there I thought Boco was the most beautiful sighting I have ever seen. Boco is a British Rail Class 28, also known as the Metropolitan-Vickers Type 2 diesel-electric locomotive. Also I saw Gordon and he looked scared.

10/09/2026: Excellent dinner at a beautiful location/setting. The building and grounds are wonderful. The staff attentive and welcoming. A great way to start our first trip to Ireland. The food was excellent (although my husband would have preferred his Crispy Monkfish Loin to be one solid piece versus slices, he said it was very good tho). Bruchetta app was great-love all the garlic. The linguine pomodoro was excellent, pasta perfectly cooked, flavorful sauce, and the shrimp were evidently grilled and had a wonderful slightly smokey flavor. All around a great experience!

07/09/2026: I think this is the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been too. I was so surprised with the prices being so decent. A restaurant this nice in my country would be super expensive. The service was great, we had a good laugh with our waiter. You can see the pizza man making your meal, it's great. The best tiramisu I've had for a good while! You can visit the ruin behind the restaurant, it's really stunning.

31/08/2026: The food was incredible. Best pizza in Cavan. The atmosphere was lovely. Our waitress Niamh was friendly and attentive throughout and really made the experience that much better! Will definitely be back. 10/10, would recommend

26/08/2026: We used Laguna as our caterers for our wedding. The food was incredible, service from all the staff was unreal and so many of our guests commented on how good the food was. I'd highly recommend Laguna as caterers. Amit was our main contact, and he was always available to answer any queries we had in the lead up to the wedding.

22/08/2026: Was recommended by a friend to try Laguna and was not disappointed! Delighted with our experience here even though the waiter didn’t quite get our order right. For example, one of the dishes we ordered didn’t arrive so they subsequently made it and didn’t charge us for it. The food is tasty and I have no complaints with the good portion sizes. Really liked the okra fries and the chicken vindaloo (super spicy). We ordered quite a lot and actually we ordered a veg mixed grill instead of a meat one by accident! Next time will need to be clearer with the waiter. The staff are really polite and attentive but make sure to get the order right!

12/09/2026: Ordered the Special Seafood Pasta, delicious and pleasantly surprised on the delivery! Our waiter Chris friendly and had us laughing . We have a new cousin across the Atlantic Ocean!

17/09/2026: The person I was with found a hair in their pizza which would have been ok, accidents happen sometimes but obviously not ideal. But the servers didn’t seem very apologetic and another gluten free pizza was sent back less than ten minutes later (speed is great) , but this one looked significantly less well presented. At the end of the day, remaking the pizza with more care and better quality would have been appreciated even if it took a little longer but this one had less cheese and just looked sloppily put together. All the same appreciative that there are gluten free options now in town but the service could be improved. Hot honey dip was very tasty. Pizza was good but just good.

The pizzas here are generously sized, ensuring you get a satisfying meal, and the pricing is incredibly fair, offering amazing value for such quality. I genuinely urge everyone to give this place a try; you'll be so glad you did!

02/09/2026: Absolute gem of a place and food is incredible. Roast chicken pot is a must try. Wonderful location right next to the park and perfect for a pre or post lunch walk.

30/08/2026: Stopped in by chance on the way home from a day out and SO glad we did. Gorgeous gastropub, staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was unreal. Even some live music which was apparently a rare treat! Would fully recommend and will definitely be back.
