26/05/2025: I recommend Garavoguehenstag without hesitation. Yasmina went above and beyond to take the stress out of planning everything from the cowgirl themed activities and dinner to the hotel stay, all of which were excellent. She was patient, pleasant and helpful throughout which meant that all we had to do was arrive and enjoy the experience. We all had a brilliant time

14/08/2025: ⭐ Great food and shakes, but serving size has changed ⭐ I’ve always enjoyed Shake Dog Sligo – tasty burgers, crispy fries, and their milkshakes are rich and delicious. However, I do miss when the milkshakes that came in big stainless steel cups with extra on the side. The new smaller servings feel a bit underwhelming compared to before. Still a good spot for a treat, but I wish they’d bring the old serving style back!

03/05/2025: Had the pleasure of staying in.the double decker bus last night views are Incredible kids loved it got to play with hunter the family dog who led us threw the woods with the kids every where the kids went hunter wasn't far behind wel defo be bk perfect location to get away

14/08/2025: Our room at The Clayton Hotel earlier in the year was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pub had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The only disappointment was the steam room and jacuzzi — unfortunately, neither was hot, which was a letdown as we had been looking forward to using them. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall comfort and cleanliness. Thank you.

12/08/2025: Was such a wonderful location and everything so nice and the staff very welcoming. Beds were nice if a bit over firm to my liking. The separate entryway door to bath and bedroom was an odd thing but fine. Only real complaint was how stuffy the room was especially since the window was child locked and could barely open. I get that it's a safety thing but we were two grown adults would have been nice to have the option to close it. Food was nice especially the main courses though nothing mind blowing and one dish slightly under-seasoned but was still good. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful for the buffet, exactly what we needed that morning. Though could have put a strainer on the scrambled eggs so they weren't so watery at the bottom. We ordered room service late at night which I appreciated was available. The pizza we orders was serviceable but no complaints as just a midnight snack level. They did seem to forget the pizza the first time as they only brought up a single drink then as it was getting a bit longer than expected we called and they said they'd be up in 5 minutes which was slightly longer with two new drinks with half melted ice and the pizza. This isn't really much of a complaint just something we noted and laughed at at the time. All in all a nice stay with good amenities that most will be satisfied with just don't expect anything super mind blowing from anything but the location and buildings.

31/08/2025: Food was shocking chicken overcooked and rubbery. No discount for inedible food. Was told by Danielle the server that the chicken is perfect that’s how they prepare it. Rude staff terrible food. Never again.

31/10/2024: Nice food but don’t believe the out of date menu prices on the website. Manager laughed when I pointed it out and apologised they were too busy to update the website!

14/06/2025: Cafe Victor is a great little spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I spent around €16 on a latte and a delicious homemade quiche, both of which were fresh and full of flavour. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe, making it perfect for a leisurely coffee break or light lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing attentive service without being overbearing. Overall, a nice café to unwind and enjoy good food in a comfortable setting.

24/06/2025: Fast service and delicious food. I had pene carbonara and they were beautiful and creamy. Also had some cesar salad and it was fresh and tasty. Everything was sensibly priced.

29/08/2025: We had a wonderful family dinner here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portion sizes were generous and perfect for sharing, which made it easy for everyone to try different dishes. Some of our favorites were the [prawn salt chilli chiken,miso soup,sushi,], all cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to bring everything we needed, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place for family gatherings. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food and a comfortable dining experience with loved ones.

16/08/2025: We decided to try it because we saw sushi on the menu. It's hard to call them sushi. Spisy bag is not good either. Sweet and sour... There are better Chinese restaurants in town.

25/08/2025: The best pub in Ballymote. The Guinness is amazing, better than what we got living in Dublin! All our Dublin friends and family agree. A beautiful wooden interior with a wonderful fireplace that really adds to the atmosphere. And the staff are superb and so friendly.
