03/12/2025: Called on for a mid-morning breakfast on a Sunday following a drive from Belfast Port on our way back to County Mayo. Great service and quality food - full Irish with tea and toast. Highly recommended.

Yasmina went above and beyond to take the stress out of planning everything from the cowgirl themed activities and dinner to the hotel stay, all of which were excellent. She was patient, pleasant and helpful throughout which meant that all we had to do was arrive and enjoy the experience. We all had a brilliant time

26/11/2025: We had our wedding Day 2 in The Snug last Friday. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of pub! Keelan went above and beyond - he was so helpful from the initial booking. He made sure everything was on track and we were kept up to date. The Snug is lovely and cosy. Would highly recommend for parties

14/06/2025: Cafe Victor is a great little spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I spent around €16 on a latte and a delicious homemade quiche, both of which were fresh and full of flavour. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe, making it perfect for a leisurely coffee break or light lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing attentive service without being overbearing. Overall, a nice café to unwind and enjoy good food in a comfortable setting.

03/05/2025: Had the pleasure of staying in.the double decker bus last night views are Incredible kids loved it got to play with hunter the family dog who led us threw the woods with the kids every where the kids went hunter wasn't far behind wel defo be bk perfect location to get away

25/03/2025: The hotel was lovely. The staff were great, the room was nice and comfortable and warm. But the tv had only 1 in every 4 station was working.

30/11/2025: This hotel is renowned for its spacious rooms, and local hospitality. From the moment of arrival to departure, Matthew and the team showed a genuine Irish warm welcome. Breakfast menu was very comprehensive and even though it was mid-week in November there was still a lively atmosphere in the bar. The hotel is right beside the Enniscrone Golf Links which continue to grow in popularity as among the best links courses in Europe. And it's a great base for exploring North Mayo and West Sligo.

06/08/2025: For one, internet, CRAP. Rooms were too hot and then we got fans and it was too cold. Beds felt like bricks. Too many mirrors, very creepy. Fridge would overheat when the door is shut, that’s not how a fridge works. Shampoo smells like poop. Ger better brands. Accidentally put body wash in my hair and it was supposed to be shampoo. Change the bottles bro 😛

29/08/2025: We had a wonderful family dinner here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portion sizes were generous and perfect for sharing, which made it easy for everyone to try different dishes. Some of our favorites were the [prawn salt chilli chiken,miso soup,sushi,], all cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to bring everything we needed, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place for family gatherings. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food and a comfortable dining experience with loved ones.

16/08/2025: We decided to try it because we saw sushi on the menu. It's hard to call them sushi. Spisy bag is not good either. Sweet and sour... There are better Chinese restaurants in town.

14/12/2025: Randomly went in for a pint, first time in Sligo. Great no thrills bars, excellent Guinness, friendly locals.

06/10/2025: Brilliant bar with a great atmosphere and very welcoming! Staff were chatty and great fun. The bar around the back is big and good fun! Would definitely recommend.

01/09/2025: As a family we had a wonderful dining experience at Surfs Up Cafe. The food and service was exceptional. So much to choose from the menu, highly recommend the goats cheese salad and fish basket. There is also a specials board with appetising choices, also plenty of choice on the children’s menu nothing to much trouble if you have a fussy eater. Highly recommend the smoothies my daughter had the orange and mango which she thoroughly enjoyed. We sat inside the cafe as it was a rainy day but there is also an outside seating area which would have been lovely to sit out on a sunny day. Plenty of choice for dessert also nanny’s apple tart a firm favourite. Overall I would highly recommend Surfs Up Cafe we will definitely be returning lovely food and friendly and helpful staff.
