28/03/2025: Best candy store that we found in Ireland. You step in the door and it's immediately a blast to the past with the glass counter with drawers for them to give you whatever you are looking for by weight, along with all of the oldies / goodies that you haven't seen on a shelf in a while, mixed with some amazing chocolates.
The conversation with the mom / son duo about where we were from and our itinerary was great and they even offered a few tips that altered some of the end plans for the end of our trip and I'm so grateful.
We will definitely return the next time we are in Ireland.

If we have time we will come back to taste the other specialties of the chef with the green apron.

21/04/2025: An excellent place to watch sports, including gaelic sports, which is unusual for Sligo. Also, great for live music. While the staff are friendly and hard working, there is just not enough of them. At times, you could be waiting ages to get served, even at quiet times like a Sunday afternoon.

10/12/2024: This year we chose The Embassy for our Christmas work meal. An excellent choice! We went for the €49 euro Christmas Menu which was excellent value. The service was impeccable. The surroundings were cosy, comfortable and the restaurant had a lovely Christmas feel to it. The complimentary bread and dips are delicious. The food was perfect. The turkey and ham dinner was excellent and there were large dishes of roast vegetables too. We all literally rolled out of the place so full! Looking forward to going back with family. A wonderful night had by all.

22/04/2025: What a beautiful pub! Stopped off whilst drive through the area and so glad we did. We ordered 2 roast dinners, food was beautifully presented, hot and so tasty. The staff, although a young staff team, were so professional, helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend and would return if I was in the area again

21/05/2025: Dated menu, too expensive for what it is. The toilets are falling apart , tap broken since last time I called in as well as toilet dispenser . The drinks menu prices is wrong so we got charged extra.

03/05/2025: The entire family lives the food in bia bao. Every time we return to Sligo we make time to eat there. Whether it's lunch or dinner everything is fresh and tasty.
The staff are always as accommodating as they can be and are particularly friendly with the kids (pre-teen and early teen). On a recent trip they even went next door to the ship to pick up a drink they had sold out of.
It's a small restaurant but really nicely decorated.
Probably the best Asian fusion food I've had in Ireland.
22/04/2025: I am in love with this place, I would highly recommend their duck noodle soup which is what I got, some of the dishes can be quiet sweet but tasty. I have to visited this restaurant many times! Very good service too. 9.5/10

28/04/2025: Lovely little spot. Great iced coffee, yummy cookies and treats. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Fantastic crispy tofu. Good selection of local gourmet food available to take home as well ! Never thought I'd be able to get an nduja sausage in Collooney.
17/04/2025: The hype is real about this place, and the food is as good as you have heard! It's rare that I have lunch in one place and immediately start to wonder when I can come back to try something else because everything on the menu looks amazing!
