23/03/2024: Beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are all so lovely and the food is amazing. I've been on a couple of occasions and have tried a few diff dishes and Ive always never been disappointed. Always look forward to returning, Def highly recommend

20/10/2024: Had breakfast here on Saturday morning just gone… got the vegetarian option ( as it sounded so tasty) but asked for a couple of rashers instead of mushrooms.. no problem at all… lovely easy going young fella at the till.. wonderful fresh orange juice… food really tasty, hot and fresh… place was bustling and great atmosphere… really impressed.. well done all 🙌

12/10/2024: Consistently amazing food. The quality, taste and variety makes this one of my favourite places to go out for food in Sligo. The setting and service is brilliant. I'm a frequent visitor and look forward to the next time I'm in.

05/11/2024: Absolutely fantastic hotel - great location, the food is excellent and the people working there are genuinely lovely and really care about customers. Stayed here with my wife and 5 kids for a midweek break. The room was huge with separate bunk beds and TV area. The decour is fresh and up to date. The food in the restaurant was super fresh and so tasty. The breakfast was excellent too with a great selection of hot and cold foods. I felt that we got great value for money for our stay and we are already planning a return visit. The town centre and beach (very safe and easy to access with a buggy) are all walking distance and there are some lovely pubs to shake things up if needed. The hotel is a great gateway to Ballina, Easkey and other areas of interest. The GM Matthew was on hand to welcome people and chat to them which is great to see too - a very approachable and friendly guy who made us feel extremely welcome and valued too. Big thanks to Declan the restaurant manager for his attiveness and great sense of humour too - what a gem! Highly recommend this hotel :)

02/11/2024: I ran in there on my lunch. Ordered the baozi. It was made literally in 3-5 minutes. While I was waiting for my order , I looked around. The atmosphere is 👌 fabulous. Service is 😌 nice. And those baozi are just 👍 great. The baozi was with pork? and cabbage? I think.

14/08/2024: Wonderful sweets in a cute old fashioned shop with super friendly staff! Don't miss when visiting Galway! We loved the rhubarb and custard sweets and the vanilla fudge and nougat for our drive back to Dublin!

09/04/2024: This a lovely shop, lots of sweets and chocolates. The staff are nice. The service is quick. The place is clean. It's easy to find right in the middle of Galway.

09/11/2024: This hotel deserves fives across the board. I've only tried the food so far and it's fabulous! From the presentation to the taste to the reasonable price, it's perfect! Location hits the spot - next to the river in the center of the town. Easy 5 stars.

11/11/2024: This very small cafe doesn't know wether to sell groceries or food - constant draught from the chill cabinet - the late breakfast we had was expensive and very average and much too big - my wife had a plate of food that would have filled two Alaska loggers. Toast was like a rock mushrooms tasteless uncooked bacon - just not great. Would we go back? Definitely not. Would we recommend to anyone? Definitely not. Sorry but just not for us

02/11/2024: A superb little spot hidden away in quiet Collooney. We had fabulous breakfasts from full Irish to a vegetarian delight! Plenty of tasty option whatever dietary needs you have. It is a tiny restaurant, so not great for big groups, but for nice family breakfast- highly recommended.

21/10/2024: Service was quick but abrupt to the point of "Rude" Food was OK, but one pizza was too oily (there was oil on the plate after finishing). Two other pizzas had toppings only in the centre , not all over. The fouth dish was Carbonara and that seemed very good. My daughter could not eat all that was supplied. We might go again, but not for pizza

02/11/2024: I hadn't been at shells for a couple of years. Decided to give it a go for lunch today. Got seated fairly quickly then we were left 15 minutes waiting to order. I had to stand up to grab the attention of someone to take our order. I had Korean chicken & she had goats cheese salad and kids had cowboy burger and calamari and chips. Everyone else was served at the table and my dish never arrived. Waiting staff forgot about me. Once again had to stand up for a few minutes trying to get someones attention to give me my lunch. Korean chicken dish was like a chicken fillet roll from centra on a plate without the bread. The chicken fillet tasted like it went straight from the freezer into the fryer. Beautiful salad leaves destroyed by swamping them in gallons of mayonnaise. Couldn't finish it and feel sick after it. Goats cheese salad didn't come with pecan nuts or orange segments as described and no bread to accompany felt a bit cheap. The Calamari was burnt and the cowboy burger just meat and bread, no sauce. Kids meals looked incredibly unhealthy, no salads or vegetables. This place is a greasy spoon with burgers and chips thrown in the fryer and no real effort. Zero effort and zero customer service gets a Zero review from me.

04/11/2024: Had a lovely evening with my husband, staff were amazing. Young man behind the bar with a moustache is a credit to the establishment, very friendly and makes great cocktails. My husband loved his pints of Guinness and I treated myself to some wonderful cocktails. Will definitely return and try the food soon.

24/03/2024: We just returned from a brief trip. Stayed in the moonlite cruiser. What a trip it was. We were greeted by Michelle who was extremely welcoming and a great person overall giving us great ideas for our stay and being the hostest with the mostest! The location is breathtaking, the comfort was unmatched, the hot tub was so relaxing and the no phone service/WiFi was a massive highlight. Not to forget the animals. We had a lovely time. The only complaint we have is that we couldnt stay there forever. Thank you so much for having us and will be returning for sure!!!
