22/02/2026: The food was lovely. I had the mushroom and then the chicken hot pot. The Chicken hotpot should have vegetables with it.

06/01/2026: Lovely coffee ☕️ Very small cafe but great coffee and small choice of sandwiches but they are also very good. Some nice cakes too.

14/12/2025: My favourite place in town for coffee and a sandwich. It’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go, and the coffee is amazing. It’s become my regular spot and is now part of my daily routine.

14/10/2025: My 1st time there and one of the staff keep glancing at me angrily. Don't know what her issue and when I go to the counter to pay, she intentionally bump into me and give me side eye. I DONT KNOW HER! The food is good,just like any Asian food but the waiter need to keep her attitude to herself! It's rude. T one who wearing the black and red cheongsam or Korean outfits on Friday. That attitude is unnecessary. I come there to eat not to see her poor attitude!!! Need to review this here as it need to be state out as it is what had happened that day!

28/02/2026: Great family run business and polite staff and great food and handy little shop to pick up shopping and a very large car park it's conviently situated in the Castle Connor area on the Ballina to Sligo Road 👍

01/02/2026: Perfect service! The woman at reception noticed I was cold and offered to bring a radiator to our room. Very welcoming, a wonderful experience, and there's parking at the hotel. If we're passing by, we'll definitely stop by again! I also had pasta in a white sauce with mussels and prawns; I highly recommend it! (corrected: I ordered a starter, but feel free to order a full portion)

31/10/2025: we had a meal there today as it was my son's graduation. The waitress was very friendly . my salad was nice but the turkey dinner my son had was just not great with big chunks of veg and mash was a bit dry. my partner asked for a ham sandwich which was very unappetizing and visually just two big triangles of bread wit ham stuffed in the middle. the dinner cost over 18 euro and we just expected a bit better value for money. it wasn't busy there and just thought food is not visually great and could be more appealing.

26/05/2025: I recommend Garavoguehenstag without hesitation. Yasmina went above and beyond to take the stress out of planning everything from the cowgirl themed activities and dinner to the hotel stay, all of which were excellent. She was patient, pleasant and helpful throughout which meant that all we had to do was arrive and enjoy the experience. We all had a brilliant time

03/02/2026: Update - We came again after a year, everything is still perfect 😄 Our family had an absolutely magical two-night stay in this converted double-decker bus nestled in the mountains. What an incredible experience! The kids were beyond thrilled to sleep in a real red bus, and it made the whole trip feel like an adventure. The views from the bus were simply breathtaking – we woke up to stunning mountain scenery every morning. Dermot and Monica were fantastic - super responsive and helpful. They clearly care about their guests' experience. The location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area; there was so much to see and do nearby. It's important to note that this is a glamping experience, so the utilities are basic, as you'd expect. However, the bus itself was well-equipped and warm, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. All the essential facilities were available inside the bus, making it surprisingly convenient. If you're looking for a unique and memorable

05/09/2025: I spent an exceptional evening at McLaughlin's Bar - the people, music (trad session), drinks and the venue itself were just amazing! I'll never forget it. 100% recommended! If you're in Sligo it's a MUST. It felt so authentic and I was stunned by the Irish hospitality. Thanks so much to everyone, especially to Myriam :)

22/02/2026: Went for lunch with my son, daughter and newborn grand children...what fantastic experience from the staff to the character of the pla and of course the food! The menu is extensive and our food was top class

21/02/2026: Lovely find. Delicious food and warm staff. I had the steak sandwich, which was fabulous. Lovely decor in the pub, well kept. Will have to return for a few pints.

30/11/2025: A bunch of work staff were here to celebrate ahead of Christmas. Had to pay a deposit in advance. Night before meal manager called the organizer to say the menu might be limited and the full menu not available. Despite all this we went ahead. Noise deafening from large group behind. However not the restaurants fault. The bread and dips were delicious. No charge. However the food prices were just too much. 22 euro for a chicken tikka masala? It was the only option I felt I had.. the chicken supreme was almost 27 euro and a colleague had it but it was tiny and dry. Disappointing but we had fun ourselves but overall I don’t think I’d go back.

28/10/2025: We went there for a drink without going to the restaurant. The bartender is very professional and friendly, and the pub decor, dating back to 1781, is worth seeing. The Guinness is particularly delicious, and that evening there was a Latin music trio with Felip & the 2 Eddies—the icing on the cake!

11/03/2026: Some of the best food in Sligo! The tofu options are amazing and it's great to see it being used so well. Staff are super friendly and the coffee is great.

08/03/2026: Would have liked to stay longer but there were young children past 8pm sitting at the bar with their parents. I didn't expect kids to be allowed late in a cocktail bar on a Saturday night... kinda ruined the vibe. Otherwise cool spot.

05/02/2026: Vibes and energy were lovely, went form quiet 3 people in pub to a bunch of younger people salsa dancig for about an hour Interesting cocktail menu. Not like menu online
