The best restaurants in Sligo

14/06/2025: Super delicious dinner (1 x sirloin steak, 1 x salmon, 1 Malteser cheesecake), friendly staff, quick service - all around top!

31/05/2025: We are a family of three adults. I’m coeliac ( gluten free) and my daughter has a serious nut allergy. When we arrived, without a reservation, we explained our dietary issues. The lady we spoke with could not have been nicer. “My mother is coeliac and there are no nuts in the kitchen”. She was friendly and warm and very reassuring. A very helpful server showed us to our table and took out order. One GF burger, one burger and one chickpea pea burger. When the meal arrived I was very impressed my burger was delicious. And the waitress told us that all our fries were GF so we could share. If I lived near I would eat here often and try the steak which the table beside us praised highly. It was lovely to eat somewhere that understood our dietary needs so well.

13/08/2025: Have visited for food many times over the years when passing by. Came in for lunch on a Friday this time. Quick, efficient service with wide menu and tasty food at reasonable prices and always has plenty of people eating here.

12/08/2025: Stopped here for dinner. Food was amazing. Staff were great. Very clean.

05/09/2025: I spent an exceptional evening at McLaughlin's Bar - the people, music (trad session), drinks and the venue itself were just amazing! I'll never forget it. 100% recommended! If you're in Sligo it's a MUST. It felt so authentic and I was stunned by the Irish hospitality. Thanks so much to everyone, especially to Myriam :)

03/09/2025: Enjoyed our great dinner at Henry’s this evening. Recommend the turkey and ham or roast beef meals. The dessert was a great finish to our meal. The fish tank was a great bonus to watch!

24/07/2025: The lovely staff who work here and looked after us from greeting us on the door, through to the waitress who brought our food and drinks and gave us recommendations are a credit to this restaurant. Everything was such a lovely experience, great wine, great food and great atmosphere.

19/07/2025: The food was spectacular! We came after closing but they were nice enough to still serve us. The service was excellent. The olives are delicious. And the specialty pasta is a must to order! It is the best pasta dish I have ever had! The noodles tasted homemade, the chicken was cooked perfect, and the flavor was so tasty. I wish I had this restaurant where I live, it would be frequented often.

03/08/2025: Too inconsistent to recommend. Every time I’ve gone, the experience has been different, and not in a good way. I always order the same thing, but there's always something missing from it or something extra in it that I don't want. Attention to detail is poor, or maybe the staff can't hear me over the reggaeton. The food is also NOT fresh. I won't be attempting another visit 😭

02/07/2025: Reasonable accommodation rates and very flexible. Very welcoming and informative. Live music downstairs but this was explained in advance . Would recommend

14/06/2025: WB's Coffee House is a lovely little gem. The atmosphere is calm and cosy, perfect for a quiet break or catching up with someone. The coffee is smooth and well-made, and they’ve got a great selection of cakes and light bites — all fresh and full of flavour. The staff are kind and welcoming, always happy to chat or give a recommendation. You can tell they care about the place and the people coming in. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxed, friendly spot with good coffee, WB’s is definitely worth a visit.

16/07/2025: Nice food, very poor service. Was there last Saturday afternoon 12/07/2025, they took over an hour to bring out two dishes, head waitress walked off in the middle of me saying this to her.
