22/07/2025: This restaurant is a hidden jewel! Fantastic food, very generous portions and very friendly and helpful staff. We were a family of 5, there was colouring paper and crayons for the kids and our food was served in a timely manner. The dessert list is one of the most impressive I have seen in a long time and there was something for everyone. What really impressed me was the low sugar/diabetic alternative, which is something you don't see that often in restaurants. 5 🌟👏👏

09/07/2025: Lyons cafe ......as good it gets, tasty, reliable, reasonably priced. Great staff, great buzz highly recommended! We especially enjoyed the chicken, leek and bacon pie followed by the pear and almond dessert, simply sublime!

21/06/2025: This place does not disappoint. We've been here a couple of times the food has been 10/10 with each dish ordered; from soup to salad, dish of the day to vegetarian option. The only problem with visiting Sligo is there are so many tasty eateries to choose from. But do try to check this place out.

16/07/2025: Just had breakfast there and served by a lovely waitress she went out of her way to make my daughter an iced coffee with oat milk, and it was perfect 👌

14/06/2025: The Little Cottage Café is a lovely, down-to-earth spot that feels warm the second you walk in. It’s small, cosy, and has that homely charm like you’re sitting in someone’s kitchen, not a busy café. The decor’s simple but thoughtful, with little touches that make it feel personal, not staged. It’s quiet enough to relax, but still has a nice buzz with locals coming and going. A proper comforting place to have a cuppa and unwind.

12/06/2025: This is a lovely cafe with fantastic cake and baked goods. The lunches looked amazing as they went by me and I'd absolutely return next when I come back to this direction. Thank you to the friendly staff inside.

08/06/2025: Just spent the last few days at this wonderful venue, the Hotel is very welcoming, the rooms are very sizeable with every accessory you might require. The Bar and Restaurant offers excellent dining and refreshments, the staff are extremely friendly and the service first class. The location is spectacular with sea swimming and excellent walks and if you are a golfer only 2 minutes to the first tee on the famous Enniscrone Golf Links. Continued Success and a venue I will certainly return to.

01/06/2025: Absolutely gorgeous! Divine, wholesome, home cooked food. Great portions and fantastic value for money. In times where it's a luxury to eat out,it's nice to still be able to go in somewhere like Muddy Burns and see a menu priced so competitively and fairly. Plenty space for groups with cosier booths and tables for smaller gatherings. Friendly and helpful staff, couldn't fault a thing except that I hadn't discovered this gem of a place before now..I will definitely be back and recommending it to others.

15/07/2025: I’m very happy to leave this review. Jennifer and Theresa were so friendly and helpful. The service was fantastic. I was just driving through Tubbercurry and wanted to have a little breakfast, I found this cozy place so cute and well decorated. They had a nice welcoming sign just outside on the sidewalk advertising that they serve breakfast and various meals throughout the day and I’m so glad I stopped in. The minute I walked through I was greeted with a warm comforting surrounding and soft music playing as I walked through to the dining area there were Jennifer and Theresa very friendly and happy with each other. Clearly happy employees. They were testing a new cupcake that Jennifer had just created, white chocolate with raspberry and pistachio inside as a filling, Theresa was complementing her and telling everyone it was such a great flavor combo I knew from that very moment I had stopped in at the right place for a lovely little breakfast. They immediately acknowledged me with a smile and a happy, hello, and lead me into the dining area where there were a couple tables filled with happy diners. The decor was thoughtful and warm kind of old world comforting. They seated me down next to the window where I could see a gorgeous patio set up for dining with lovely tables and Large umbrellas. Next time I come, I’ll be sure to take advantage of that beautiful garden patio for a meal. But today I focused on the menu in front of me and ended up ordering the American pancakes. I added on à la carte scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I also ordered some coffee with oat milk. Jennifer was such a good server, she came back twice to make sure everything was perfect and if I needed any adjustments, she took care of it so quickly. Before I knew it, my meal had arrived piping hot, and beautifully arranged. I enjoyed it with maple syrup, but they had other options which would be just as Delicious. There was even a tiny little base on the table with a little garden rose in it. The little details of this establishment are so charming and well fought out if I were a traveler and needed overnight accommodation I wouldn’t hesitate to take a room here. I polished my meal off pretty quickly. It was very delicious, in between another young lady came to check on me. I didn’t get her name, but she had beautiful blonde hair and a happy smile, and The fact that she came to check on me, even though she was at my server, added on another layer of true customer service value here. I highly recommend this location for a delicious meal and as there A-frame sign out in the front said they do serve all meals, breakfast lunch, and dinner guarantee you I will be back to try their other menu Offerings in the other times of the day and I recommend you to do the same
