Glasson Lakehouse
18/08/2025: The hotel is located next to a popular golf course and is therefore very busy. There are many families with children. The restaurant's offerings are rather limited, and the prices are, in my opinion, far too high. A ribeye steak cost €38.00. You have to walk through the restaurant to get to the outdoor pool in your bathrobe.
17/08/2025: AM ONLY REVIEWING WALK IN SERVICE. Once again came in today and the bar service is absolutely non existent. One person behind the inside and outside bar and very slow servicing. Other customers seemed as agitated as me. For such a fine establishment this very important part is letting it down over and over. Table service was fine.

12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable.

13/04/2025: I visited several pubs in Moate and this was my favorite! The bar keep, Paul, was top notch! He even had candy for my kids! Very kind!

25/05/2025: Love Peader's Bar, staff and customers are always so friendly! Have stopped here twice over the years mainly because they are pet friendly and have a massive beer garden out the back. Can't wait to come back.

12/05/2025: Ferociously overpriced! Over €32 for vegan breakfasts with 2 coffees that weren't filled up! This place looks real cool tbf and the food was good but at that price..? Many other places give you a bit more bang for your buck. Oh and, staff did seem in a bit of a hurry to get on. I get it was busy but...

05/08/2025: I found my experience at Insomnia Mullingar to be quite disappointing. The coffee was served in a mug that was not clean, and the chairs were in a very dirty condition. I regret that I requested coffee to have on-site instead of to take away.

12/08/2025: Gotta love Oscars, it's our goto restaurant in the Midlands. The staff are second to none, there is always a good welcome. In pretty fussy with food and don't mind complaining when something isn't up to scratch, but in 20 odd years of going there in yet to have anything critical to say.
The takeout is just at good as the eat in, but then your missing the relaxing atmosphere.
