15/05/2026: Spacious, family rooms, super comfortable bed, very friendly staff, helpful too. I only stayed for one night, big mistake. I will go back very soon.

10/05/2026: Our 1st time to stay in the Radisdon Blu, there for a function. Another super hotel in Athlone, with great service and facilities. The location is also amazing, right on the river, so perfect position. The only negative was the room, although an upgraded one, with an incredible view ( so not really complaining 😉) was a little dated.... could do with a little refresh, that's all. Apart from that I would recommend a stay here as everything else was very good.

05/11/2025: Best pint of Guinness in Moate by a mile. Staff are very friendly and locals are welcoming. A must visit for anyone.

04/05/2026: The gluten free pizza was surprisingly good. Look at my review history; I have eaten in some of the best gluten free pizza places in the world. I was not expecting this. They were also very nice to our baby. Just hope it was very gluten free. Not super convinced it wasn’t flat on the same gluteny oven.

29/03/2026: Stone oven neopolitan pizza with a good amount of fresh ingredients on top. Guy who makes the pizza has the greatest fashion sense!

04/12/2025: I ordered a Veg Biryani for takeaway and received it in no time. As for the food — both the quality and quantity were outstanding. I’ve never had such a good biryani in Ireland before, where quality and quantity come together so perfectly. ( Veg Biriyani🙂)

13/05/2026: Fab food. Lovely coffee. Got pancakes for the kids and they LOVED them. It was very child friendly with a colouring sheet and crayons for the kids and a lollipop for them when we left. I had a vegan option and the flavours were lovely. Very friendly service also. Will be visiting again the next time I am back in Mullingar

12/05/2026: Breakfast all day that tastes like a greasy spoon from back home (US). Buttermilk pancakes are light and delicious, bacon is smoked and yummy. Great spot for a quality bite.

23/04/2026: I used to really like this place, but after today I’m honestly shocked. I ordered takeaway and also bought prawn crackers. Right before handing me my order, a staff member picked up one bag of crackers, said “oh, another one,” and gave me a different (but identical-looking) packet instead. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but when I got home, I discovered there were bugs inside the crackers 🤮🤢 It makes me feel like the staff member was aware of the issue and still chose to give it to me. This is extremely unhygienic and very disrespectful to customers who are paying for their food. After this experience, I won’t be coming back!!!

27/02/2026: Big place, traditional chinese style. Excellent food. Very tasty meals, everything was excellent 👌 we really enjoyed our dinner, shredded chicken with saute sauce and fillet beef with black bean sauce. The service was amazing, very attentive girl, even though it was busy. Definitely recommended, sit in and enjoy.

13/12/2025: The pints are fine and fine are the pints. I popped in to read a book and made some friends along the way. I'm now a full blown alcoholic and I wouldn't change a thing.

13/12/2025: Lovely bar. Spotless. Friendly, polite staff. Well decorated, felt comfortable. Will definitely go there again. Nice smoking area too.

07/12/2025: A very typical Irish pub; the men's restrooms were being renovated, so you had to go outside if you needed to use the toilet. The beer was very good.

28/11/2025: Friendly bar staff and excellent pints of Heineken / Guinness. All at reasonable prices.

29/03/2026: Ordered bacon and cheese fries & boneless hot honey chicken wings. The bacon on the fries was mostly fat and extremely hard/chewy. The hot honey chicken wings came out with buffalo sauce. They were mostly okay.
