The Dog & Duck Pub
18/06/2025: Highly recommended! Very attentive and accommodating owner and very friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating with views of the water and mountains. Within walking distance to the campsites.
And, the food was really good! We'll be back!
There's a good pub atmosphere inside, and it's quite quiet outside 😉
02/06/2025: Lovely pub with the friendliest staff and a great atmosphere. Pool table and live music. Lots of sports memorabilia to look at. Pints of Guinness were delicious! They have a pizza menu which is great value and just what you fancy after a few drinks, simple but effective.

20/04/2025: It looked inviting from the outside, but as soon as I entered inside, the sense of approachability diminished when a regular started to act erratic and passive-aggressive with me for no apparent reason; the locals were loud and vulgar; the only positive aspect of the pub was the door leading out.
Avoid this cesspool.

24/05/2025: I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived i was told I had to join a long queue. What is the point of calling in your order. No idea how to run a business.
The food isn’t that good to wait 40 minutes! Rude staff. Would rather go to supermacs.
