11/05/2026: Really enjoyed our breakfast really tasty and packed plate. Cup of tea or coffee all for €12 per person. Being really picky maybe instead of 2 full slices of toast if they were halved so 4 pieces in stead of 2 but that's very picky.
28/04/2026: Had food here today, it was absolutely beautiful. Very irish pub/bar, quiet but a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The young girl serving was a lady and the man at the bar was a gentleman, warm welcoming and chatty. Food was warm and filling. Dessert was gorgeous. Very clean premises. Highly recommend. Thank you.

23/05/2026: Really saddened to have to write this review. Have been eating in this establishment for approx 1 year, once or twice a fortnight. Usually do a walk in and never have a problem. Tonight with the good weather and town being busy I decided to make a booking to be sure. Lady on the phone very accommodating booked myself and my partner in for 6pm. On arrival the venue was half empty, we were then told we couldn’t be seated as we weren’t dressed neat. However it’s a hot sunny day and there are several others around the bar in shorts. Unfortunately we were asked to leave due to shorts.
My partner was really embarrassed and just informed me when we left that I am in fact wearing the exact same shorts I was wearing in the venue a week ago.
Very embarrassing to be turned away like that in a half empty business.
Unfortunately will not be returning and would not recommend.
P.S on reversing out of our parking spot a couple has just entered with the man wearing shorts. They didn’t come back out. Shocking
02/05/2026: Food was so delicious the mushroom risotto was so delectable my goodness I enjoyed it! Paired with the sticky toffee pudding !

11/03/2026: Possibly the best coffee I’ve ever had, and I’m well travelled! Slightly on the pricier side however it’s an artisan coffee shop so to be expected. Great location being a converted bank from 19th century so plenty to keep the eyes busy.

29/05/2026: Great place for a quick meal or dessert in Mullingar. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the service was fast. I particularly enjoyed the ice cream dessert, which was delicious and generously portioned. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would happily visit again. Highly recommended! 🍔🍦😊
20/05/2026: I have visited multiple times..the food is great but the tables are not cleaned... Found customers are cleaning their tables before sitting..very poor cleaning services.. very disappointed with cleanliness...

Look at my review history; I have eaten in some of the best gluten free pizza places in the world.
I was not expecting this.
They were also very nice to our baby.
Just hope it was very gluten free. Not super convinced it wasn’t flat on the same gluteny oven.
29/03/2026: Stone oven neopolitan pizza with a good amount of fresh ingredients on top. Guy who makes the pizza has the greatest fashion sense!

22/06/2026: Popped in with the family for food, after a recommendation from friends, we have fussy eaters, and my god it did not disappoint. The service was top notch, really friendly staff, and quick service. The food was gorgeous 🥰 really generous portions for both adults and kids., and so reasonable! Highly recommend the Athlone to the bone wings delicious! Cocktail menu is a bonus! Definitely will be back.
31/05/2026: Had an absolutey amazing experience on my first visit to Maisies today with my son because he recommended it. From top to bottom, the food, the staff, the drinks, the atmosphere and most importantly the customer service was top quality with a smile. It's a very welcoming place as the manager deserves enormous credit for how he greets people and his hands on approach will surely make Maisies thrive. Would definitely recommend to anybody reading, well done!

15/02/2026: I was in for a meal on saturday the 14th of february.i was treated very badly.staff was very rude.waiting for 45 mins for a starter and came out cold.when we asked why was this handed out cold,and we were spoken too like this didnt matter.i would definetly not recommend this place to no one as its overrated and false advertisment to the public

Food was pretty mediocre! Service was so so!

23/10/2025: Upon arrival, I froze to see grubby tables mot cleared and floors under tables not addressed. I proceeded to the food on offer where 2 rather dirty teatowels lay. I left. Pity because it could be a good place.
05/10/2025: Really tasty, healthy food. We all enjoyed. Lovely staff who are flying around. Would definitely come back. We live in Navan and nothing around us like this. Highly recommend!

08/03/2026: This was a busy spot for Sunday lunch. Had Roast lamb and roast beef and two Thai curries. The Thai curries were too hot, too salty and bore no resemblance to the tastes that one would associate with a Thai curry. The ladies were too reluctant to make a big deal other than point out that it was not good. The lady on the staff said that it was unfortunate and that was it. No attempt to alleviate the situation with a coffee or free dessert, just tough luck that you didn't mention it in time and it could be swapped. This is not the way to win good reviews or build a reputation. In these days of online reviews the dissatisfied customer tells 1000 other people.
