Have to say overall good atmosphere great fire on just ladies toilet could do bit upgrade I'm not saying it wasn't clean..

15/05/2025: OK, with fantastic grounds, a stunning lake, a wonderful golf course, restaurant, bar, lobby, outdoor pool, small gym and activities then there is something for everyone. Its grounds were beautiful and just walking around them was relaxation all on its own. The kids have more then enough to keep them happy. And on the last night of our stay we witnessed a stunning full red mood. A superb location lacking only one thing. A shuttle bus to Athlone town maybe twice or three times daily. Because taxies cost between 25 to 35 euros and that makes a shopping visit too expensive. But don't let that take anything away from a wonderful location and a great break, cheers
13/05/2025: We had a lovely anniversary here, really top spot with great attention to detail. Hot tub on the lake was a bonus.

20/04/2025: Lovely meal out today for Easter Sunday, group of 6 of us, food was Amazing, staff very accommodating and friendly and always made sure everything was ok, 10/10 will definitely be back!
17/03/2025: Great Italian restaurant with amazing food and wonderful staff.
Came on a Sunday evening without reservations and while the restaurant was pretty crowded was seated immediately.
Ordered the lasagne (comes with a side salad) and it was very tasty. I would definitely order it again.

18/03/2025: Fraynes! What can we say, best bakery/cafe in Mullingar! Always our first stop when we fly in, and always our last stop on the day we fly out. We also visit almost everyday in between. They serve the best “Full Irish” breakfast and more! Hubby always gets the full Irish & I typically change up my selection. Food never disappoints! Oh, and they also serve the best Cappuccino too!
03/02/2025: Anyone visiting Mullingar needs to visit Fraynes for their breakfast lunch or a beautiful baked in house cake or scone and the best filter coffee in Mullingar
