18/03/2026: Their sushi is so good, I could eat their sushi every day and never get tired of it. That goes for most of their food. Staff are friendly and I like the sometimes quiet atmosphere, wish it was closer to home tho.. If you're ever thinking of getting food here, don't think just go do it because this place is 10/10🎀

06/02/2026: Very hit and miss.... food is nice but lazy week day staff let's it down , that big guy in the black jacket is a waste of space and very unprofessional.. took my order, didn't leave the order slip out and proceeded to wander round talking crap to other staff who apparently had nothing to do either, I was on a lunch break so the delay in getting 1 wrap really annoyed me . He is either related to the owner or there for free as I don't know how he gets away with it .

19/02/2026: Booked this place for one night stay. They decided to close the place for the day and we were left on the street. Luckily the radison had a room. Check before you go.

12/03/2026: Absolutely amazing customer service from a young man named Conor . Everyday I come in and he has the nicest attitude and smile that is rare these days . On the ball , great chap Tidy shop and nice atmosphere. 10/10

25/02/2026: Con Bar in Mullingar offers okay food with good service and a nice, lively vibe in the bar. Staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I found the portions to be on the small side for the price—still worth a visit for drinks and casual meet ups. Cash & Card accepted

26/11/2025: It's tasty, it satisfies hunger, but it was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. The fries are very good, though. We ordered the Cuban Turkey.

12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable. Paul & Annie.

20/03/2026: Beautiful fish cakes served with side salad and sliced potatoes. The Dish complemented with a glass of Albarino crisp white wine. Busy, popular spot, definitely will be back

14/03/2026: Really enjoyed the fusion flavours at Left Bank Bistro in Athlone. The Thai chicken and duck dishes were excellent, and the pork belly starter was a standout. Definitely worth a visit.

26/11/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Fatted Calf. The ambiance was beautiful, and lovely background music played softly. The welcome was warm and inviting. The service was attentive, humorous, and never intrusive! The food was divine! The combination of the appetizer with the black pudding croquettes, the scallops, and the various sauces was an explosion of flavor! Thank you! For the main course, the meat was tender and juicy with a delicious chimichurri sauce. Wonderful! The desserts were simply amazing! Our restaurant visit was the highlight of our time here in Athlone!

27/02/2026: Had a snack box meal. Very nice but I cannot understand why when I ask for a drink without ice it still comes with ice. Usually i would go back to counter with it but was so tired after long work day i just drank it.

19/02/2026: Placed a collection order for foods €40.15. It was 4 meals after receiving the food this is what our dressed fries looked like...lazy sloppy no interest

13/12/2025: Stopped here without knowing what to expect. We found and amazing atmosphere, with friendly and fast service. Good was great, generous portions and great selection. Strongly recommend 👌
