07/03/2025: We stopped here because this place has a 4.4 rating on Google maps, which in my mind, is a fairly good rating. The tea cups and tea pot was dirty, two of the breakfasts were incomplete and no communication was made to offer something in it's place, one breakfast did not arrive and I had to ask for it. Food was terrible, my daughters pancakes tasted of old frying oil, the waffles were dry and hard, definitely not freshly made. I found a hair in my eggs.
Just really poor service and very low quality food.

31/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions. There is nothing special about it, same overpriced menu for years. The food is just okay, but the fish and chips, not fresh, all cooked from frozen…. for the best part of 30€ . I can go down the street to the Roma cafe and get freshly home cut and cooked cut chips for way cheaper than here. The atmosphere is so so as all the tables are too close to each others and one has to battle their way through the overcrowded place to get to the bathroom on the first floor 🤢. Absolutely nothing special about this place, the obvious reason why it’s busy is that Mullingar has very limited choice for quality food 🤔

12/05/2025: Ferociously overpriced! Over €32 for vegan breakfasts with 2 coffees that weren't filled up! This place looks real cool tbf and the food was good but at that price..? Many other places give you a bit more bang for your buck. Oh and, staff did seem in a bit of a hurry to get on. I get it was busy but...

31/12/2024: A few minutes drive outside the town ,but also on the A2,A3 bus route 10 mins journey ,had a wonderful and relaxing weekend away ,great value and very clean and spacious rooms .with a very modern bathroom.
22/12/2024: I had a great stay at this hotel a while back where I was well and truly looked after by a staff member named Fiona Brennan whom I'm not sure works in the springs anymore but regardless Fiona made the experience so much more enjoyable and welcoming .
