30/12/2025: Very cute little coffee shop with wonderful coffee and staff. It’s just around the Mall

07/11/2025: Tried out The Wandering Elk today and it was absolutely amazing 🫎☺️. I had a toasted sandwich with bacon and chicken that was bursting with flavour 😋. It came with a generous serving of nachos and dip on the side which was such a lovely surprise 🌮. The coffee was rich, smooth and perfect for the cool day ☕. The cookie was out of this world, soft and buttery with a gorgeous white chocolate drizzle 🍪🤍. The 2 lady staff members were so friendly and everything came out fresh, hot and full of flavour 😊. Overall The Wandering Elk is a fantastic spot for lunch or coffee and I’ll definitely be back soon ❤️.

04/03/2026: Was always 1 of the very best Supermacs around and just lately it seems to have gone downhill. I understand there's a war going on but the medium meal is gone tiny. (See pic) I got a 5 oz bacon and cheese burger that was inedible. Soaked with grease and put together with no love for food. When I dropped it up and told them, no mention of a replacement or anything to mend the situation. Poor effort and a major pity.

30/11/2025: Fabulous pastries and sausage rolls, however there is a major bottleneck with coffee. Not vey busy in a Sunday morning and still waited almost 10 to get my coffee after paying for it.

22/11/2025: Oh good LORD. Greatest place on earth. Staff are lovely, food is incredible, building is gorgeous and clean. Each item on the menu is delicious and inventive. The place is so clean I could eat off it. And the staff are so unbelievably kind. SUCH good energy and always up for a chat. I could be having the worst day ever and one minute in there, im cured of everything. Im not even glazing. Keep doing whatever you're doing and I look forward to seeing the business continue to grow 😊

26/12/2025: I went in before closing time (apparently today 26th they close at 5:30 and it was before 5) and was told it was takeaway only, which was fine. However, when I asked the staff member at the pastries counter what the items were (the labels were missing), she repeatedly said she didn’t know, turned her back on me, and continued cleaning. I asked if there was anything with lemon. She said no, but when I pointed at a pastry I thought was lemon, she then said “it’s lemon” — without any apology or explanation. I ended up buying it because it looked nice, but honestly I wouldn’t have if it weren’t for her attitude. I work in customer service myself and understand how tiring busy or festive shifts can be, but basic politeness is still part of the job. The pastry looks okay. A bit overpriced for the size, 4.95€ but the service really needs improvement.

12/12/2025: Warm and food well priced, had lunch food was good. Only bad thing need to be more generous on the roast potatoes only had one on my plate.

10/05/2026: I had a great experience at Chef Kebab Kinnegad. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The kebabs were well prepared, with generous portions and good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The place was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience — definitely recommended if you’re looking for good halal food in Kinnegad.

08/05/2026: Brilliant place for a family night out, a treat for your kids, or even just a simple door dash after work. Burgers are excellent chips are nicely seasoned and the milkshakes are top tier. The only reason I give this four stars is the looks of the burgers. They usually look a bit sad. I guess no Instagram pics for the ladies, eh? But I'm not materialistic so I don't mind.

05/05/2026: I orderd a medium mcplant with garlic sauce, (they forget the garlic sauce) Medium fries: the fries was cooked well but the oil taste was really bad. Taste like burned oil. I was a chef, i know the oil wasn't changed for days. But nice people.

28/09/2025: I always visit O'Brien's in Athlone Town Center when in Athlone. The sandwiches are always beautifully made with high quality ingredients. The coffee is great too. This is the best O'Brien's I have been to, always so clean, from the food display to the clearing of the tables. I have always found a clean table to sit at and always enjoy my food. But most of all the staff are amazing, so friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them. At this point they remember my regular order, goats cheese sandwich on gluten free bread with an Americano, I don't even have to ask anymore 😆 well done to the hard working staff.

08/05/2026: We were celebrating today. We choose Old House by an accident. I hope God gives me more accidents like that. Food? Absolutely divine. We had salmon and beef cheek. Salmon, was made to perfection well seasoned and lovely sides. Beef cheek was absolutely mouth watering. Delicious just delicious. For the dessert we had sticky toffee pudding(whoever loves sweet go for it blindly) and chocolate brownie both desserts served with ice cream on the side. Our waiter ( and I do apologise for not remembering the name- truly) was the most kind and cheery person. A true gem to the place. Well done. Will definitely come back and recommend. Good spot in Mullingar to eat, drink and relax! Ps. Unfortunately I only have the picture of the pudding as everything was so good it disappeared faster than I could snap a shot!

07/05/2026: Second time coming back here honestly I had a burger. I believe it was one of those triples horse specials but it was very nice second time had that meat feast the sauce of the pesto was perfect and the cheese was not bad along with the toppings, but the dough on the pizza was literally falling apart and stiff… I do recommend this place but I recommend it with your expense, but it’s not bad. It’s not bad at all. Had a pretty good time. Enjoy when you do, and I hope this review might make some improvements in the future.

01/05/2026: We went in for food this evening Nice looking place clean Got full rack of smoked ribs food looked good but ribs were very dry no real taste bar the bbq sauce on top of ribs Ribs were luke warm when they came out eat as much as i could tolerate! Herself got chicken curry that was also luke warm chicken was dry and cold Only thing that was hot was the chips! The waitress was really friendly when taking or order When paying i was ask by another waitress was everything ok i told her the issues paid her in full She said she would tell the kitchen And was very apologetic

12/10/2025: Hands down, the best Subway Sandwich quality I've had in Ireland. I am a frequent hopper to many Subway branches all over Ireland, from Dublin, Galway, Cork. Eric has never let me down, always excited to visit this Subway branch for the food quality. Eric makes the cleanest Subway Sandwiches I've ever had in Ireland.

19/05/2026: Worst Asian or Chinese food I ever had in my life.. this was a chicken breast, well it was ment to be.. this is chicken out of a packet put in a deep fat fryer.. then they try say it’s a chicken breast and when you say it to them, they put the customer in the wrong.. over 50 euro for this crap.. most tasteless food and ignorant staff you could possibly meet.. never again and I’d ask most people to avoid at all costs
