01/02/2026: Food absolutely horriable two kebab meals very cold and so was chips , up getting sick all night and early this morning from it . Noticed none of the workers wearing gloves especially handling the lettuce etc with bare hands . Absolutely disgusting I’ll never be back again . Place needs to be shut down .

31/10/2025: Bossman most generous ting ever init man made best kebabs ever and even asked me was the food good very cheap prices the flies on the windowsill made the atmosphere electric overall i conclude this review to be 5 stars as bossman is my man gyupoutofit bossman

23/03/2026: I ordered a burger .which was not cooked the meat was like rubber. Was complaining and they said that meat is ok cuz he was frying him the time how he usually do. No apology or exchange. Not recommended

24/08/2025: Absolute joke, waited there for 10 mins whilst they served other customers when they finally acknowledge us we were just shouted at that they had no guacamole and then tried to order something else and told to join the back of a queue of people that came in whilst we were waiting, I just stormed out absolute rubbish, don’t even bother with this the lad working there was an absolute disgrace

22/10/2025: Went up to a lady just to ask for directions and the disrespect she gave me actually had me jaw dropped i was shocked I was being spoken to so rudely, no manners and had such a smart mouth she obviously didnt wanna speak with me and had no interest rolling her eyes

10/08/2025: We have ordered a paw patrol cake for our sons 2nd birthday online and it was amazing. It looked exactly like the reference picture and it tasted really nice. Since they closed the office in Tullamore we had to pick up the cake from their shop in Athlone. We got the smallest square cake and it was still huge and quite heavy. It was a chocolate sponge and chocolate cream cake. It wasnt too sweet or tasteless. I wish there is an option to add forest fruits, sour cherries or other fruits. It would elevate the cake so much. Will definitely going to order a cake there again.

10/11/2025: We have loved chef kebab for years . The tikka masala and jalfrezi we got lost night was terrible both went into the bin. Used to be our favourite place whether there is a new chef? tikka masala wasn't even the normal colour it usually is . 30 odd quid into the bin. Won't be getting it again.

01/01/2026: I had a horrible New Year's Eve experience at this place. There weren't enough staff, and 10 minutes before the countdown, there were no drinks for sale. The staff were doing the impossible to serve everyone. It was a disastrous environment. They want to save money on staff and simply advertise a terrible party with no management whatsoever. No cocktails, no álcool. Please don’t make people leave their houses if you not able to give a good experience

21/08/2025: To all the staff in Maisie’s, from the door staff to the bar staff to the glass collectors and cleaners, you made my entire hen weekend an absolute blast. From the Friday night dancing , Saturday day activities upstairs and into Saturday night dancing , you made us feel so welcome. As a hen party you tend to be watching yourselves and trying to separate as a lot of places don’t like seeing a bunch of women coming(I get it) however ye are different… we got waved at and welcomed from the second we got over that bridge! You guys are absolute amazing. Ye are number 1 in Athlone by a country mile and I’ll be recommending this place to everyone and their nana!!!! And also - whoever that Dj was that ye had Friday 15th and Saturday 16th - he’s an absolute superstar on the decks! I can’t wait to come back!! From the Galway Hen ❤️

25/02/2026: A pathetic attempt at a Spice Bag. There's zero veg, there's no chili flakes, most of the chips have no seasoning, and there's very little chicken. The chicken is a mixture of chicken balls and shredded chicken. It was very difficult to distinguish between the chips and the shredded chicken.

23/11/2025: Had a terrible experience with the short security guard here — incredibly rude, unprofessional, and went out of his way to make the visit unpleasant. Completely unacceptable behavior and definitely needs better training in basic respect.

26/11/2025: I used to come here every weekend with the boys and it was a different place. I would get drunk on 7 or 8 vodkas now I’m sober after 10 definitely watered down the pints.

20/11/2025: Nightclub is ok it’s not the best. Full of younger crowd . The main problem with mojos is the djs !! they can’t mix to save themselves soo bad same songs all the time playing.

24/02/2026: Newer owners over the last six months or so. These guys are night and day compared to the lads that ran the place for the last two or three years. The pizzas are absolutely bangin! They make the dough freshly in front of you and are generous with the toppings. Always a tasty pizza! Fish is crispy, fresh and flaky too if you like fish.

21/10/2025: Called in this evening to make an order. I had a look at the menu on the counter and the big menu on the wall. I decided on Meal 1 - Any 8" Pizza + Any Side or Chips + Can which was advertised for €10. I was also going to order 2 dips at €1.50 each. Which would be a total of €13. The person behind the counter told me it would be €15. I queried as to the discrepancy in price and he told me that the deal only included chips and as I had requested wedges it would be a €2 supplement as wedges are expensive. (Sidenote, you can get a 1KG bag of wedges in Dunnes for €1.19) There is a full list of Sides on the menu which included, Garlic Bread, Onion Rings, Chips, Garlic Mushrooms,Potato Wedges, Swiss Cheese Wedges, Cheese Jalapenos, Jalapeno Balls and Chicken Nuggets. The advertised deal in store and on the printed menu state 8" pizza, any side or chips and a can for €10. I cant review the food as I was not going to be ripped off, I said I would get food elsewhere. The store either need to update their advertising or honour the printed deals. Also the price difference on the menu for sides between chips (€3.50) and wedges (€4.50) is only €1 so charging a €2 supplement is very outrgeous.
