21/11/2024: I went for lunch there yesterday. I have been there before and had a great food. This time ordered chicken breast burger. Top of the bun was dry also chicken breast in it was pretty dry. Felt like it's overcooked... Not to mention the chips. Good idea to boil baby potatoes before fry but this was too much in the water. I swear I had way better chicken burger before from the chipper across the road and half of the price!

19/11/2024: Place was not clean service was slow , would not go back, things have changed so much recently in this restaurant there was a lovely lady manager in this restaurant she seems to be gone . Got to treat your staff better as this restaurant doesn’t

16/11/2024: Decent Italian restaurant. Food is good but nothing to write home about, the bruschetta was sadly made the wrong way, all the ingredients were there but instead of putting the garlic on the bread after toasting the bread, they put it on after the tomato, this makes for drier bread, a lesser end product and ignores the traditional way of making bruschetta. The pizza and lasagna were both nice but the lasagna was way too small ( in the picture only the square covered in cheese is the actual lasagna), it would take you just a few bites to finish it, better put it on the starter menu. The chocolate brownie dessert was really nice and was a good ending to it all. Overall the restaurant was nice, service was friendly and the food was quite good but they can just improve here and there.

29/10/2024: Great hotel! I struggle to fault it. Staff were lovely, rooms were excellent and a tasty breakfast. I believe it also has a gym and pool. Wasn't too expensive either. It's a bit of a drive out of town but staff will call a taxi for you (taxis take cards).

05/10/2024: For a small looking pub on the outside it has plenty of welcome space. The sign on the door outside said live football, horse racing etc and we weren't disappointed as there is a paddy power bookmakers a few doors down. Michelle and Rachel were very welcoming and chatty despite dealing with customers. Highly recommend a visit if your a sports fan or otherwise.

29/08/2024: A busy spot but worth it as the chips were very tasty and will definitely pull in off the M6 for these again

10/07/2024: Very good Italian chipper in Monksland. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. Usually quite busy so can be a little waiting time if you're not ordering over phone. Recommended if in the area

03/11/2024: 44 minutes from the Dublin Airport. This place is a luxury spot for bargain prices. But they do a lot of weddings and are often booked full on weekends. If you are lucky enough to get a room GO. We have been here two times. Huge pool. Fitness center. Wonderful grounds down to the lake. And also right next door to the Belvedere Castle. Easy access to major highway to Dublin. We like to.come here on first and last night in Ireland to decompress. Highly recommended. Luxury. At $150!

02/11/2024: Caffe Nero has always been my most favourite place in Athlone for catching up with friends or studying. My dog really loves this place too. The staff are very helpful and welcoming each time. The staff always accommodate your preferences by creating interesting drinks such as an interesting ‘snickers hot chocolate’ but with hazelnut syrup! (Which I highly recommend). My dog was welcomed with a cup of dog-friendly cream which she loved! Thank you Caffe Nero team for such exceptional service in our little town!!!
