11/10/2024: We stopped by this bistro for lunch after driving down from Dublin and visiting Sean’s Bar. It was a solid meal—I had the warm prawn and chorizo salad, which was flavorful and filling. My friend had the bisque and cleaned his bowl.
The staff were friendly and quick to help with anything. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
13/09/2024: Overrated and miserable portions - 3 scallops in a starter for €12.95 - pretentious and not good value for money - service cold and rushed

Keep telling them but they obviously don't care. No consistency. Some evenings it is fab and others inedible. Pity...
13/10/2024: Service was very good and food was amazing love the bathroom very clean nice to go for a family dinner quick and so much atmosphere amazing vegetable soup ,garlic bread , steak ,hake ,chocolate brownie . You get rolls on your table when you arrive.Staff are kind and helpful

27/10/2024: I had a lovely night here recently. The staff were really helpful. Its very quiet as it is situation back from the street. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had.

07/10/2024: We had the best time of our vacation the night we visited this pub. As visiting Canadians, we were hoping to make new friends and experience traditional,everyday, Irish culture. That is what we found here. A lively session, games of pool, lots of craic and such a friendly warm welcome. (We didn't eat here)

02/11/2024: Had breakfast bap so good very good produce and asked for extra hot latte and it was exactly right definitely worth a visit and will be back for brekkie again

15/09/2024: Visited here today and found this to be a great cosy spot with nice attentive staff and really lovely food. The young guy behind the bar has a really lovely way with people and has a good awareness of everything going on. The tall waitress with the blonde hair who was serving us was also really lovely.
I had the beef while partner had the hake which were both delicious. The cheesecake on the menu today was divine, best I've had in years.
Would definitely recommend and will be back again
