11/09/2024: The service was absolutely fantastic. Our waitress was extremely helpful and patient with my family (we asked too many questions). She suggested the chicken tenders because they are made in house and they were absolutely amazing! The serving of fries was generous and the side salad was fresh and tasty. My husband had the southern chicken sandwich and said the roll was amazing (as well as the rest of the sandwich). He also enjoyed his minestrone soup but seemed to gravitate back to my chicken tenders and fries every few bites. I would absolutely recommend this place for lunch!

Rich in flavors, wasn’t expecting something similar in a little town like Mullingar.
09/10/2024: Great service, cozy environment. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We had a platter for two that could easily feed 3 or 4 guests.

24/07/2024: I had heard good reports of this place, so when my wife wanted to grab a breakfast before we drove to Clare, I decided to check it out. First impressions were that the place was extremely busy. Luckily we got a table, and were served quite quickly. I went for eggs (poached) and bacon. The service was fast but hugely friendly. The food was lovely, and plenty. We were never rushed. We were checked on frequently to ensure we had everything we wanted. At the end, the bill was very reasonable. Top spot!!

30/09/2024: A short drive from Athlone and well worth it. Busy pub with varied dishes and blackboard specials. Maybe not as much seafood as I had expected but still something for everyone. The Fjord mussels were delicious though.
As I was driving I tried the 0% red wine but not a success. Will stick to soft drinks in the future.

25/10/2024: The outdoor area doubles as bin storage - you will be accompanied by the most unpleasant smells, and also plenty of flies and wasps.
The waitresses are friendly but the place is really poorly managed by an offensive woman.
Everything feels dirty and greasy, especially the tables, chairs and salt and pepper holders.
Food:
The bacon is local and of good quality, however if you visit when busy it will likely be undercooked and if you visit when quiet it will probably be overcooked.
The pizzas are mid quality at best and entirely overpriced.

The staff were absolutely delightful and helped me through when my order was taking ages, when i spoke to the manager she was rude and dismissive. Not the first time i’ve seen her like that…… won’t be coming back. extremely dissatisfied
