21/04/2026: Just stopped by for a bit of lunch and a glass of wine on a road trip with 4 of us. The owner is lovely and food was good. Cosy bar with lovely lights.

25/04/2026: Came here for a meal as the glasson lakehouse restaurant is very poor. Was really impressed got a beautiful Asian salad to start and the rest of the food was just as nice. Lovely selection of wine, staff really nice. Real local family vibe in there. Plenty of noise so you can talk without being listened to. Would come back.

15/05/2026: Beautiful lodge on the edge of a gorgeous lake. Exceptional service across the board, nothing was too difficult. I have Coeliac Disease so need to eat Gluten Free, and this wasn't a problem at all. I could have most of the menu at dinner, and a full Irish GF at breakfast. 2 beers by 9 White Deer in the bar was an added bonus. I can't recommend Wineport Lodge highly enough. Looking forward to a return trip! 10/10.

04/05/2026: Forgotten about at table when there was only 2 or 3 tables being served at 5pm. Plenty of staff there but all seemed to be just walking around. Portions are an absolute disgrace, used to go here a lot but has gone downhill lately with service and food. It's hard enough to part with hard earned money these days, without being made a fool of. Will not be back any more it's just disappointing.

26/04/2026: I would sacrifice my first born to eat like that everyday. Delicious main course and desert didn’t disappoint. A beautiful river view paired with a comforting and considerate staff. Highly recommend, will definitely be dining in again. - Jack Hands down one of the best best places I’ve ever eaten!! Staff were so lovely and accommodating, food was amazing and I think I’ll be dreaming about that cheesecake for the rest of my days. Get used to us because we’ll be back- Grace

24/05/2026: I got into the pub and the music was there. A lovely group playing a nice, smooth and evolving music, bodhrán included. Just great, believe it. As a plus, beef stew was tasty. It is a good place for a chilled talk and some drinks.

29/12/2025: The place is really cute and cosy, such a cosy spot to relax. The service was excellent, we felt very well looked after. The food is absolutely amazing! I loved the fish and chips, full of flavour, and the apple vinaigrette was such a lovely surprise — it went perfectly. The portion was generous and really satisfying.

09/11/2025: We had a fantastic morning coffee here! This is a lovely little cafe to visit, where the staff are very welcoming and helpful; the coffee is also delicious and strong, accompanied by a perfect carrot cake recommended by one of the baristas. There are many different areas in which to sit, each offering a different atmosphere and comfortable vibe. The music was a nice, upbeat addition, and not so loud that it was hard to chat. I noted the premises is dog friendly, which makes sense given the outdoor area. The front of shop is bright and seating is well spaced throughout. The baristas brought the coffees to the table, my flat white was good and strong which was great for early in the day, and good value for €3.70 and the carrot cake with walnuts was top notch for €3.80. They have a wide selection of individual cookies, cakes and other treats on offer, as well as some more filling options.

05/11/2025: The best cappuccino and espresso in Mullingar. The Brazilian asai was nice. Lovely place, an amazing atmosphere and music. I recommended it.
