19/09/2025: Girl yells on the phone that she thinks that she's the manager, no system in the kitchen, making singular pizza's, half orders are cooling down while they are making other parts of new orders, no one smiles or says thank you, girl at the counter keeps saying 15-20 minutes but they forgot our order.
Gordon Ramsay, help.
15/09/2025: Indian feast . Paneer masala got a good hit. It’s nice and awesome.. highly recommended

16/08/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this café. The breakfast was very tasty, but what really made the visit special was the staff. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. Even though my English is not perfect, one of the staff members explained the menu to me very clearly and patiently, which I truly appreciated. Her effort and kindness made me feel very comfortable. Great service and atmosphere – I would definitely come back!
09/08/2025: The atmosphere was fine. Quiet and busy at times. I got an omellette, which was tasty & filling. The other customers seemed to be eating full irish breakfast, which looked good too. My friend, however, had poached eggs, which came as it was in the picture on a slice of brown bread with toast on the side. Instead of the toast it would have been nicer had the poached eggs come with Avocado and tomatoes which most cafes provide but for this one she would have had to pay an extra €2 on top of the €9.50 she was paying for that which seemed abit steep. No menu, order at the counter.

24/05/2025: I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived i was told I had to join a long queue. What is the point of calling in your order. No idea how to run a business.
The food isn’t that good to wait 40 minutes! Rude staff. Would rather go to supermacs.

Shame they don't sell any non-alcoholic beer (only alco and wine) and if you need a bathroom, you have to go to the restaurant next door.

22/07/2025: Expérience agréable pour un déjeuner à 6. De bon sandwiches, bien que le pain mériterait de gagner en qualité, et de très bonnes pâtisseries. Beaucoup de choix, le tout pour un prix correct.
22/07/2025: Lovely spot in the middle of the town for a coffee pick me up and a slice of cake or bun. It’s v busy but had quite a lot of seating. My son loves the Cornish pasties which make for a lovely breakfast or lunch on the campsite. Coffee is good

23/07/2025: We tried the Spicy Cajun Melt here (two of them!) and really enjoyed it. The sandwich was flavorful, filling, and the ranch dip on the side was delicious. The only thing I’m unsure about is the bread — it tasted good but felt a bit too thick. A slightly thinner and wider slice might suit the filling better.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely come back again!

04/07/2025: Came here looking for breakfast on a trip through Athlone. We managed to make it in the nick of time before they ended breakfast service and we weren’t sure if they would let us order. Jaime was SO kind and took our order, answering questions and giving us recommendations. Our food came out very quickly and coffee was included with our breakfasts. Wish we would’ve taken a photo of our food, but we ate too fast!! Jaime checked on us throughout the meal and was so lovely. 5/5 for friendly service and yummy food. I would highly recommend!!

Usually staff are very friendly and efficient in this cafe. However, Guy who served us this morning seemed disinterested and I had to explain our coffee order a few times and he still got it wrong! 😱
