14/11/2024: Wow just what an experience! This place has been open for awhile so I thought I'd finally try it and I feel like I actually had a holiday in Italy, everything down to the last detail was designed to make it feel like you were in Italy especially the music, the food was amazing and everything made from scratch, the coffee was strong and rich and also imported from Italy, I'm very happy with my trip there and the staff were beyond lovely Id highly recommend this place for a taste of something original, Thanks again guys 😊

28/12/2024: We loved our experience at Himalayan Aroma. All the food we ordered was up to the mark. Food: For the starters, we ordered Masala tiger prawns and it was mind-blowing. For the mains, we had Nepali Himalayan Chicken curry. It’s a yogurt based curry was absolutely divine. They do customise the spice level to make it according to your taste buds. We asked for it to be a bit spicy and we loved the flavour. Our server confirmed that they can also make it leas spicy if you’d like. To accompany the curry, we had onion and coriander naan and I would 100% recommend it to complement your curry. At the end we had mango lassi. It was absolutely tasty and flavourful. Service: Our server was really sweet and helped is through the menu. He was quite friendly and the service was fast. It was a really good experience

03/01/2025: Another fantastic family meal at The Old Ship. Food was immaculately prepared and presented, with lovely staff and very reasonably priced. Best pub grub in the town.

19/12/2024: Great atmosphere, great food and service was brilliant. Bernie (our waitress) was really lovely along with the two barmen who served us. My 10 year old nephew even commented on how nice everyone was to him. Good pint of Guinness too!! Would highly recommend.

24/11/2024: I recently visited Victorian Tea Times in Arklow, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a charming, bygone era with the beautiful décor and warm ambiance. The attention to detail is impeccable — from the delicate china to the vintage furnishings, everything perfectly complements the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The tea selection was impressive, and the homemade treats were absolutely delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and you could tell that everything was made with care and love. This is more than just a tea house; it’s an experience that everyone should try at least once. Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or just looking for a unique outing, Victorian Tea Times is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

06/10/2024: Our hostess and assistant helped us with costumes and accessories and used our cameras to take many pictures for us. We were then served tea with a three tiered selection of sandwiches, scones and sweets. All was delicious and they did not rush us. I definitely recommend afternoon tea at Victorian Tea Time.

30/11/2024: Check in was pleasant and professional, we stayed on the top floor where rooms were refurbished. Rooms were fine , wouldn’t call them luxurious but had everything you need and beds were extremely comfortable. It was my birthday and when arriving in my room there was a lovely hand written card wishing me happy birthday and a small box of butler’s chocolates which I thought was amazing and made my day . We eat in the bar on both nights and food was ok but expensive enough ten chunky chips for 5 euro that’s 50 cent per chip which is crazy . Staff in bar were so slow , you ordered a drink and it was always around 15 to 20 mins before you got it but saying that there was one member of staff who was very professional friendly and her service was quick . She asked us after we ordered if we would like water as well as a drink with our food any other time I had to go and get our own . Her name was Karen and when I pointed out to her that she was the first lounge staff whose service was good she thanked us and told us she was only working in the bar two days but had previously worked in the restaurant. I think Karen could teach the rest of the staff there how to serve properly . Storm Bert had hit that weekend so we did not leave the hotel but there was entertainment which we enjoyed . Overall we enjoyed the Arklow hotel and will be back soon and hopefully by then they will have this ladies Karen supervising the other staff and they will all be as good as her

17/11/2024: The harbour bar gave use of the room upstairs for our club meeting and it was absolutely perfect! We were able to use a great room all to ourselves then downstairs for the match and a few pints.

06/05/2024: Called in yesterday on the way back to Dublin and had a fantastic breakfast. The Belly Buster (large Irish breakfast) was delicious, all freshly cooked to order. One negative, sausages were overcooked. Eggs Benedict was very good and 7-year-old thought the Pancake Stack was the best he ever had. Good value, no feelings of being ripped-off for such a quality breakfast. And the staff were friendly and highly efficient. Look forward to returning.
