17/09/2025: Authentic Italian restaurant, owned and managed by an awesome Italian couple. The food, coffee and desserts were great!
17/09/2025: Completely delicious authentic Italian! I really recommend this restaurant! I had the Burrata salad and my other half had the tomato soup. We walked around for a bit and had to come for dessert. The cannolis are divine and cheesecake is supreme!

The Old House

18/09/2025: I was a stranded traveller from Canada dealing with a ridiculous rental car situation and the staff here went above and beyond to help me out with local contacts, good food and good beer. I visited The Old House twice, nothing but good experiences. Its a very classic pub with good food and great Guinness.
12/07/2025: Just popped in as i was passing through. Really nice staff. Food was good except for pepper sauce. Nice atmosphere

A fantastic coffee shop with definitely THE best coffee I've ever tasted. Add in the delicious breakfast and lunch menus, sumptuous homemade desserts, and genuinely nice staff and owners, and you'll not regret spending an hour or two here.
26/08/2025: Lovely place and decor, great food and plenty seating on 2 levels and open air sheltered. Lovely staff, free parking. Can't go wrong.

06/09/2025: Wow 🤩 just had stunning family meal here. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Highly recommended. It is our new favourite place to go when we come to visit my brother and sister in law xx
26/08/2025: What can I say about this place? It’s fabulous. The food was wonderful and the old country atmosphere is what we all come to Ireland for. Some places have and The Old Ship Inn has it. They have a picture tucked away above the transition between eating areas that is a last supper rendition with the queen of Hollywood class Marilyn Monroe flanked by the Hollywood greats of years gone past. You go to this pub for the nostalgia of older Ireland. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Take your time, there is no rush to go anywhere.

28/09/2025: Excellent customer service and excellent food. Very friendly staff.
The dishes were cooked with a great deal of care. The meat was soft and tender, and it felt like each ingredient in the sauce was curated professionally to maximise the overall flavour potential.
It feels like a lot of thought goes into their recipes.
I would say if ordering delivery during busy periods, expect longer than the 45mins the website tells you it will arrive. My guess is that since the food is so popular, the kitchen can get backed up. But if you can wait, it is excellent food.

26/09/2025: Their Shredded Chicken and Chips are the best I've ever had, I'm and incredibly picky eater so I was pleasantly surprised to find I loved their shredded chicken. The staff are lovely and always ask if everything is good, I now go whenever I can!

LoCo Grocer

07/09/2025: Never thought I’d see the day when Arklow served me something that wasn’t beige and deep-fried, but LOCO Grocer has pulled off the impossible. Their avocado toast? Genuinely delicious. In Arklow terms, that’s basically Michelin-starred.
And the chocolate cake… to die for. Which is fitting, because I nearly keeled over from the shock of finding world class cake in Arklow, of all places. If you told me I’d eat something here that didn’t come out of a chip bag or a deli counter, I’d have laughed in your face.
So yeah, hats off to LOCO Grocer. Who knew Arklow’s biggest attraction wouldn’t be the road out of it, but a slice of chocolate cake?
22/08/2025: Fantastic vegan fare!! Was disappointed when I arrived too late the evening before to the Happy Pear. Ran into Fergus the next day who guided me to his daughters restraunt in Arklow, which exceeded my expectations for high quality, whole food, plant based food! Delish!! And Thanx for shouting me lunch Fergus! Definitely one of the highlights of my 2300 km bike tour around Ireland!

11/09/2025: We've travelled in Nepal a few times so we were attracted to this restaurant whilst visiting Arklow. So glad we tried it, fantastic food and service. We should have noted the servers name a really pleasant guy from Nepal. Belated thanks for a very enjoyable evening. We also liked the tables etc. Interesting to note many positive reviews one particularly negative. The negative one certainly not our experience. We will definately visit again if back in Arklow. 02/08/2025: An absolute recommendation for fans of Victorian England and Ireland! A wonderful atmosphere, similar to the series Bridgerton! We received such a wonderfully warm welcome and were so well dressed! The tea and the delicacies arranged on a tiered stand were excellent, and they asked how we were. Thank you so much for the wonderful and warm experience!

11/08/2025: Excellent food, lovely service (the owner, when she found out I was vegetarian, gifted me a bottle of vegan oyster sauce for me to try out at home) and beautiful view of the river as well. It was our first time in Arklow and we'll definitely be eating here next time we visit.

ENJOY ASIAN Restaurant&Take away

16/09/2025: Ate here on one of our nights out in lanzarote and other than some language barrier issues the overall experience was good. Ambience was good and no delays in between services.
Overall we had a nice mixture of starters and mains and all were all well received. Some dishes did come out wrong but were swapped with out issue so a slight language barrier.
I got the duck as my main and it was delicious.
