The best restaurants in Arklow

24/07/2025: A charming place where you can truly feel the Italian atmosphere! The staff is attentive, friendly, and very pleasant. Their lasagna is delicious, like the best in Bologna, but what I loved most was the tomato soup accompanied by delicious focaccia. The cheese tortellini were exquisite and delicate. I'd also add breakfast: a large cappuccino and various types of fragrant and fragrant croissants! To finish, a towering strawberry cheesecake, superb! What can I say: welcome to our most beautiful Italy!!!

25/07/2025: Insanely good food, I had ducks and they were the best I have ever had. The owner is really kind as well and the interior has a nice natural design.

23/07/2025: Genuinely one of the best places I have ever eaten at. I ordered kimchi beef fried rice and it was served so beautifully and the taste reflected this, it was incredibly high quality. I feel like my picture fails to show the portion size; it was large and easily filled me for the rest of the day. The banana fritters were also delightful, the staff going as far as ordering extra bananas when they were out just for us, which is the most amazing service I have ever seen. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff so kind, I recommend going. I know for sure I will be going again! 10/10!

08/07/2025: I’ve been to hundreds of pubs across Ireland and this one has to be the best Irish pub in the world. The owner is the loveliest person to ever exist, gave me one Irish coffee for free. If you are in Arklow you must come here

10/07/2025: We dined beneath sun umbrellas in Loco Grocer's garden this week and what a treat! I chose the Melt and my daughter had a Coronation Chicken sandwich. Both were inventive and the mix of flavours was delicious. Each person who dealt with us was engaging, friendly and very efficient. We'll definitely be back!

11/08/2025: Food: Excellent dinner, fresh, quick beautifully presented & every bite delicious. Pork belly starter, Lamb Confit main & Rhubarb Cheescake highly recommended! Breakfast buffet was simple, but fresh & plentiful. Staff: After 15 years in the hospitality industry, the staff were a high point for me!! Attentive but not intrusive. Friendly but not sycophantic, & knowledgeable of the menu. The entire venue's staff are the same, not just in the Pottery restaurant.

15/04/2025: It was really good fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and got us dressed up quickly. Having taken lots of photos, passing ourselves off as Victorian ladies, we then enjoyed a very nice afternoon tea. All in all it was a really enjoyable afternoon

28/07/2025: We always go to this restaurant nearly every week. And normally have a great experience here. But Saturday the 26th of July we went here as a group of 7. We had booked in and everything. And we waited 1hr and 30mins for starters to come out of the kitchen and an additional 1 hour for mains to come out. very disappointed with the service. And above all anything else we went here for a birthday , brought a cake , which was in perfect condition before bringing it here but no one put it in the fridge and after it sitting out for 3hrs it was completely spilt and inedible. We did try to eat it but was no point, we would be sick if we did. And following on from that we were overcharged by €55 which we only realised after, pen to paper writing things down doesn’t work for big tables, should be a till system that prints a receipt with correct prices. Highly disappointed as we always come here.

24/06/2025: On those frequent, hungry occasions when I find myself craving a burger, Eddie Rocket’s of Parnell Street is always my first stop. The team here is the best; the service is friendly and quick, the food is cooked with touches of grace and perfection, and a fine meal can be had for a reasonable price. I had the pleasure of feasting here with eleven of my good friends, and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long, long time. If you’re going to go for Eddie Rocket’s get to Parnell Street by any means available— it will surely be worth your while.

24/06/2025: Thanks to the machinations of certain Friends in High Places, I recently received Eddie Rocket's vouchers to the tune of three hundred euros. I quickly assembled a troupe and began marching on the place. This "March on Eddie's" proved successful; we quickly found a table for our group (we were twelve in total). We all ordered different meal combos. For my part, I ordered a Manhattan Burger with the Fries and Soda combo. Others ordered milkshakes, which I managed to steal a few sips from. I must say, the milkshakes in Eddie Rocket's are truly malts to mail home about! They were flaked to all our fancies. Our servers were extremely gracious and hospitable, especially the male server who took this photo. We didn't get your name, but you're a saint!
