11/03/2026: Delicious cocktails, great food, warm service by a team of pro servers. We ordered the halibut special, ribeye, chips, and fried smoked trumpet mushrooms. This was the best meal we've had in our 3+ weeks in Ireland! Listen to your server's recs. We took his suggestions and found we'd ordered the perfect amount of food! Our plates were clean after we finished, but we didn't leave overly stuffed. He also let us taste a few wines before committing to our choices. Highly recommend but reservations are a must, even during the slower months. Also recommend sitting at the end of the bar if you're a foodie who enjoys watching the chef cook and plate your meal!

08/02/2026: Popped in for a drink and sandwich after hearing great reviews , we were refused service stating we “were after too many” absolutely sober On a Sunday afternoon with shopping bags, all because a man ordered a gin & tonic and not a pint because apparently a sober man never orders a gin as stated by the bar man. Horrified by the way we were treated in our own city. Won’t be returning.

15/03/2026: Best vegan meal I’ve had since Cafe My House with chef Briana Kim. I love when places don’t use meat substitutes, even though I do eat them at home fairly often, and focus instead on the vegetables themselves.

01/03/2026: Absolutely gorgeous. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable service, and every course was delicious. I'll remember those pumpkin ravioli for a long time, I think! Natural wine pairings were well-considered, well-explained and beautifully rounded out the meal. We will be coming back!

06/04/2026: We’ve been at Glass Curtain twice now, including a Valentine’s dinner, and it has been excellent both times. Food is outstanding—every dish feels well thought out and full of flavour. The wine pairing was spot on, and overall the experience felt really special from start to finish. On our Valentine’s visit, we were even surprised with an extra course for Pancake Day, which was a lovely touch. Service is top notch—attentive, professional, and consistent. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a special occasion. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to.

15/03/2026: Absolutely amazing hospitality, grounds and rooms. Drove up and they took care of everything else, offered us tasting of a complimentary locally sourced mead at check in while bringing our entire families luggage from. Everyone was friendly with a smile, kind comment and offers of recommendations if asked for. The bar had a wide and brilliant selection of Irish whiskeys in particular with the rest of their drinks. I can't recommend this hotel any higher, just amazing all around.

04/01/2026: I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area a couple years ago. The food, atmosphere, and service are always 10/10. The food is fresh and flavorful. The saffron cake is truly devine if you’re in the mood for a treat. They have a fair amount of pantry items and coffee to buy and take home as well. Don’t pass this place up! Do make a reservation though, as they get very busy.

20/03/2026: We really liked this spot. Went with our 3 small kids, no hassle with getting a table although space was limited with a buggy. Food was lovely, service slow after we finished main course, so we ended up skipping dessert. Overall nice night.

20/02/2026: The menu is fantastic. Something to suit just about everyone. The staff are great for coming to take the order really quickly. Everything comes out looking and tasting gorgeous. Its a credit to them how long they have sustained the high quality of food and service. And the prices are very reasonable too.

02/04/2026: A charming little café with a super delicious breakfast. It has a bit of a New York coffee shop vibe. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was fantastic.
