19/01/2025: I've been looking for this place my whole life! I found it completely by accident, very tasty rolls, big size, super nice staff, they brought me a gift from the establishment, just because they dropped one potato, it was too nice, the atmosphere is super, very clean 10000/10

17/01/2025: Had a gorgeous meal. Risotto and Funghi were beautiful and then came a stunning tiramisu. The staff were so nice made us feel comfortable and we will definitely be back

04/02/2025: My partner and I had heard rave reviews about The Glass Curtain, so we decided to save up and treat ourselves to the tasting menu. While the flavors were undeniably sublime, the portions were, as expected with a tasting menu, quite small. We decided to supplement our meal with the cheese board, but at €26, the "selection" was a tiny sliver of what seemed to be a rather bland cheese. During our meal, an unfortunate incident occurred. We were mistakenly served a dish meant for the table next to us, who had ordered from the main menu. When I alerted a waitress, she acknowledged the error and returned the dish to the kitchen. We then overheard what sounded like the front-of-house staff reprimanding the young waiter who had made the mistake. Ironically, due to this mix-up, the couple at the adjacent table (who were completely unaware of the error) were offered a complimentary glass of wine. In hindsight, perhaps we should have simply kept quiet and enjoyed the extra dish! Overall, the experience was very expensive, costing us €245, and we left feeling unsatisfied.

04/02/2025: THE best restaurant in Cork. I have been here twice and had the tasting menu with wine pairing both times. It’s a wonderful experience. Each dish offers complex but accessible flavours and pairings. Staff are exceptional. A real treat to dine here.

26/01/2025: Dropping my rating to 3 stars. This was my favourite pizza in Cork but the past few times the base of the pizza has been black, particularly on the bottom. Oven needs to be cleaned so the residue doesn’t burn and stick to the bottom. Hope it can be sorted soon.

26/01/2025: Resulta que estábamos en Blarney para besar la piedra y visitar los molinos y paramos aquí para almorzar entre los dos. Teníamos pescado con papas fritas. El pescado estaba delicioso, pero siento que la piel debe eliminarse antes de freír y el aceite debe cambiarse con más frecuencia.

22/01/2025: Right in the center of town, couldn’t ask for a better location. Just a short walk from the wool mill, and blarney castle. The hosts are very kind, the food in the pub downstairs is top notch as are the pints!

03/02/2025: The food at Izz Café is incredible - from the delicious hummus and fresh bread, to the magnificent magloubeh, and of course the wonderful desserts, you are spoiled for choice from start to finish. There is something for everyone, and occasionally seasonal treats like the luxuriously decadent sahlab, if you are lucky enough to get hold of a cup! It’s like a hug in a mug! Your whole experience at Izz Cafe is like being surrounded by family and friends, with the option to learn more about Palestine and the Palestinian people while you eat. If you haven’t yet had a chance to visit, do check it out. But make sure to reserve a table - you can do it online - to make sure you don’t miss out!
