The best restaurants in Cork

27/03/2025: I had a really disappointing experience with this restaurant. First, they called to say they didn’t have the item I originally ordered, so I had to pick something else. I ended up ordering the chicken and prawn pad thai, but when it arrived, there were no prawns in it. On top of that, the delivery driver was extremely rude. I was slightly delayed in getting to the door because I couldn’t find my keycard, and he started shouting at me, saying I was taking all day and that he didn’t have time for this. He then threw the food at me and left. This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially when I had already paid for my order. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

24/12/2024: I said that I came to Starbucks yesterday and drank coffee and while drinking it I smelled a bitter and burnt smell in the coffee and now I taste the same burnt coffee. And DAMLA made me a new coffee, it was a coffee without a burnt taste, it was really great, thank you very much. What I mean is, preparing coffee varies from person to person. She know this job. I hope everything goes well.

19/01/2025: Food was decent, chips and curry were quite good but chips portion was way too small. People say it’s very cheap but the meal doesn’t include a drink and it was nearly €10 for 3 pieces of chicken and a tiny bit of chips, also the guy serving the food ate one of a customers chips before he served it to him, chicken was very dry but the coating and batter was delicious. Decent substitute to KFC.

21/03/2025: Absolutely shit , asked for pepperoni pizza , they threw a cheese pizza that was already cooked into the oven and threw 4 pieces of pepperoni onto it. So I got a lovely burned pizza with pepperonis not attached the pizza. And not even to talk about the inside of the place - absolutely muck dirty , so unhygienic. Have to say now honestly of all my years eating pizza - up there with the worst and for that I’ll give it a 0.6/10. Appreciate the rock hard pizza tho lavish 👍

02/02/2025: Quick, professional and kind staff, delicious pizzas and sides, great value for your money. I was pleasantly surprised that they have breakfast menu as well. I'll definitely return again, and I will continue to order online from them as well

13/04/2025: My family & I ate here when we visited Cork. I remember specifically because there was a problem at our hotel & we couldn't dine there so we ate at Abrakebabra instead. Honestly, I never wanted to leave Ireland because we don't have your awesome restaurant over here. I considered it to be Divine Intervention that our hotel's kitchen was out of order thus leading my family your way. The employees were so incredibly nice,but sincerely nice- not fake or merely polite at all. The atmosphere was very warm & inviting. The food & the service was totally incredible. Thank you so much for everything,your hospitality has never been forgotten. I'd seriously visit your beautiful country again mainly to dine here.

29/03/2025: Abrakebabra, the magic trick is to find the meat, good service and looks clean,but may has well ordered a very small naan bread with lettuce and onions because the meat had done a disappearing act. Not worth the money.

09/04/2025: Firstly it’s a 3 star hotel so anyone staying here don’t expect the Hilton and up to date facilities, it is what it is. I Stayed two nights and I found the room to be small, clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and tidy but outdated with some wear and tear evident. There was some sort of leak (radiator) as my carpet was damp on the right hand side of the bed so I could not stand on that side as my foot got wet. I found the staff friendly and helpful and the bathroom was quite nice and updated with a nice walk in shower. There was a small square window which had no cover or curtain so that made me feel a bit exposed and uncomfortable but the other big window in the room had blinds and curtains. The hotel was booked under the consumption it did meals however it was stated in a welcome email (after it was booked) they did not provide meals and only a continental breakfast which was disappointing however there is plenty of eating options around town and nearby restaurants,shops and so on. There is a multi storey car park nearby which is handy for parking and the hotel can offer discount on it. Overall I found the hotel decent with a sense of effort from the staff and environment (trying to do the best they can with what they have).

29/03/2025: The food was good, although the menu says chicken ramen, and what they served me was nothing like ramen, a meaningless name, and to make matters worse, they kicked me out of the establishment 5 minutes after closing time, forcing me to leave the restaurant in the middle of my meal, and offered me a take-away box, even though I arrived at the establishment at 8:20 pm and they only served me the dish at 8:50 pm. Terrible service, I will not be returning.

05/12/2024: Got takeaway but the wonderful atmosphere made me want to eat in next time. Food was perfectly serviceable but was expecting a bit more on the price range.

23/10/2024: Useless, ruse and inefficient is the way this place should be called. Arrived with family and friends at around 3:30 pm on Sunday 20th. A non-irish “guy” looked at us expecting us to say what “we were doing in a restaurant”, we greet and ask a table to “if possible” eat or order coffees. He made the “pleasure” to give us a table in an empty restaurant (maybe 3-4 tables used). 5 minutes later an Irish tall girl with glasses came and said: “just coffees right”😂 geez! Anyway, order some coffees, pizza and went to the bar to order a drink were a short fella full of tattoos with the same stupid attitude. Anyway is the last time we go there for sure, now I understand why always this place is advertising promos on the food😂. Your service is disgusting! 🤮

11/04/2025: Unfortunately I would not recommend this time but will give it another go as I have had pizza from here before and it is better than what I bought today. Bought chips that were anything but fresh; they seem to have been recooked over and over. Also bought a crostini and an arancini and I'm sad to say neither were good. Lovely staff though.
