The best restaurants in Cork

28/03/2025: I start my review saying that, misteriously the ice cream machine is always "broken". (You know what I mean) Visibly people that work there hate their job. I don't know how much a person needs to be mistreated at their work environment to be that unninterested in what they do. But that's the feeling I get every time I go to this place. Had better burgers and service at other McDonald's.

19/03/2025: It was my choice because all the others were closed. I ordered without condiments and couldn't eat it because of the spiciness.

08/01/2025: Went there this morning and ordered 15 coffees for the guys in our office. We got at least one of every coffee on the menu. I thought the girl working on her own would be a little flustered with an order that size. But she just laughed and said she had just finished an order for 18 30 minutes earlier. She was absolutely brilliant, chatted and laughed with me while she made them. Got them back to the office and every one of us agreed it was great coffee as usual. I have been going here since it opened a few years ago and always found the coffee to be the best. The triple chocolate muffins are to die for.

07/01/2025: Honestly the coffee is alright. Went in a couple months ago had the worst coffee shop experiences of my life. I went in early morning time probably around 8am, the workers were talking pretty nastily about this poor girl. They were so indulged in their gossip they didn’t even realise I was there for a minute or two. Once I ordered the two immediately started their hate fest again. I was honestly going to walk out without the coffee but was already running late to work. Customer service is so important, I never went back due to how spiteful the two were. I wasn’t going to leave a review until I seen how highly rated it seems to be. Thought people should be aware of this as others seem to have similar experiences.

21/02/2025: One of my favorite Chineses in cork. Delivery is always super quick and prices are good. Spicy box is amazing.

18/03/2025: Wow! What can i say? 5 stars is not enough! Service was impeccable with zero waiting times despite the vast amount of hungry hippos in the shop. The atmosphere felt just like turkey, i could almost hear the waves in the ocean as i walked in, wading my way through the water to the front counter for my scrumptious chicken garlic kebab. Would absolutely recommend this place and it is a MUST-SEE sight in the humble town of Corcaigh. I thank you beyond words for your excellent service and delightful munch.

18/03/2025: Absolutely the best meal I’ve ever had, I had 2 mix doner wrap got it 2 secs after ordering and ive never had anything like it before. Soon as I ate I wanted another, unfortunately my pals wouldn’t let me go back but I would have. P.S. I’m English from London and this is the best place P.S.S don’t listen to the haters go there but only get the mix doner wraps!

07/02/2025: This is the best and nicest Chinese food in the nortside there satay is unreal I always get beef/chicken satay rice and chips. Huge portions and friendly staff. Especially maureen.

20/11/2024: Have gone to this cafe twice now, the food has been fine both times- nothing remarkable. What stands out to me is how unwelcoming the staff can be, specifically a small fella with glasses. I’m not expecting anything extravagant, I work in customer service myself, he just does not seem like he wants to be there at all.

18/03/2025: I have ordered food from here twice and got food poisoning both times!!! Never order from here. The staff are rude and ignorant and have no knowledge of customer service. In the middle of a pandemic, no one had gloves or hairnets or MASKS on. If you’re drunk at 2am and couldn’t care less what you eat this is perfect for you. If you like enjoying your food please don’t waste money in this horrible place.

01/03/2025: Absolutely love this place. Much better lately than the others in Ballincollig. Clean, good tasting food. Fabulous battered sausage & amazing garlic cheese chips! My go to fast food when in Ballincollig. See you soon...again.

13/03/2025: The service was incredibly pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and it really added to the nice atmosphere! I got the wrap of the day (teriyaki chicken wrap) and I devoured it. It was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come here again! 10/10

01/12/2024: Please do not eat Here the food is disgusting... I would make a better pizza in my oven at home... More greece than pizza.. And the cheese , I think they got it in a packet across the road in the shopping centre. My Partner got chicken and chips with a curry sauce.. They. Could not have made the Corey sauce any more Watered down than it was.. my God... And to make it worse , this is my second time going down... I just thought I got a bad pizza the first time......that's a BIG NO

18/01/2025: Went here today for lunch , Ordered a ham and cheese toasted sandwich for my son ,my wife had a toasted special ,neither came with anything else on the plate . I had 2 sausages 2 bacon ,egg and chips ,a cappuccino and Americano,can of coke zero and an apple juice for son for the sum of 42 euro and can safely say I would rather have spent it in fast food restaurant just down the corridor. Prices are scandalous for average and small portions.

18/02/2025: A menudo voy a este McDonald’s y a menudo hay cierta conmoción de gente tirando la puerta del baño ya que no se proporcionan recibos con el código. Los trabajadores se acercan a las personas diciendo que necesitan pedir comida (incluso si están esperando) y que se les pedirá que se vayan si no tienen su comida en un período de tiempo establecido. Por esta razón, los trabajadores se nos han acercado múltiples veces incluso mientras esperamos nuestra comida. Arriba está lleno de adolescentes vapeando y simplemente no es un buen lugar para disfrutar de su comida.

13/01/2025: Visited there several times now and very time we got quality service and food. Red sauce Pasta is exceptional here and we get same taste every time. Hardworking team and especially the person taking orders always look after.

06/04/2025: I Ordered food via the KFC online, and I checked-in, went to the counter and they can't find my order, waited over 30mins. I showed them my email confirmation and payments etc. But still doesn't appear on their system... very bad service. The whole idea of ordering online for pickup is yo save time but it seemed that it takes nearly 1 hour and still don't get served.

04/04/2025: I ordered from uber and gotten half of my order that looked like someone dropped it with no any sauces or letters just a dry chicken uber customer service doesn't exist!!

03/04/2025: Very good food, i noticed many bad reviews mostly about the price being too high, if people complain about it being too much they should go to the local chippers. Very good service and interior.

03/04/2025: Don't know what people complain about food was tops. The stuff was super nice. Deffenitly coming back
