The best restaurants in Cork

15/04/2025: I got the Prawn Udon. Plenty of prawns but too much sauce. Medium size is a bit on the smaller side. Lady at front- super nice but very busy with online orders, so they were turning customers away at 8.10pm( closing is 9pm). If all your meats are halal you should display it! And the boxes should be the ones you can open on both sides and turn into a plate- but that's just an idea.

14/04/2025: Exceptionally tasty food! I would definitely recommend to others! Very kind staff who provided my kids with free ice cream and a fortune cookie 🥠 ! Calm atmosphere and the guy I spoke to over the phone was very polite

02/02/2025: For the last 3 months since a man called James working there the shop has transformed, so organised extremely well stocked, he’s so helpful nothing he won’t help with , cheery attitude such a positive addition to apple green ☺️

19/01/2025: Food was decent, chips and curry were quite good but chips portion was way too small. People say it’s very cheap but the meal doesn’t include a drink and it was nearly €10 for 3 pieces of chicken and a tiny bit of chips, also the guy serving the food ate one of a customers chips before he served it to him, chicken was very dry but the coating and batter was delicious. Decent substitute to KFC.

29/05/2025: Very good coffee shop and very good for a morning stop for breakfast and to drink a quality coffee. I really liked the coffee. I am a fan of good coffee and I know what good coffee is and here you have it. My congratulations for transforming this place into a coffee shop of very high quality above average, despite the competition not liking it and trying to say otherwise, but time is the best thing to test the waters.

And the cheese , I think they got it in a packet across the road in the shopping centre. My Partner got chicken and chips with a curry sauce.. They. Could not have made the Corey sauce any more Watered down than it was.. my God... And to make it worse , this is my second time going down... I just thought I got a bad pizza the first time......that's a BIG NO

17/07/2024: This full Irish breakfast that is just under €14.00 euros. Everything included in the full Irish traditional Irish breakfast. That is served all day. With prices and quality this restaurant has pushed its priorities to the limit with great satisfaction. The staff were more then happy to assist with the food ordered and  anything else that was required. The menu in this grill restaurant is simple, yet has alot to offer to satisfy your hungry needs, for all foodies. With quality food served in a comfortable spacious indoor seating area. With an interesting and attenative interior. This restaurant will definitely give you top rated quality food at affordable prices. Highly recommend.

13/03/2025: The service was incredibly pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and it really added to the nice atmosphere! I got the wrap of the day (teriyaki chicken wrap) and I devoured it. It was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come here again! 10/10

22/03/2025: Some man wearing the jewellery of a rich widow served me the most worst sandwich I have ever received from this longstanding establishment. The portion of meat and salad were not done according subways guidelines. Better training for staff members and hygiene standards need to be implemented asap

15/05/2025: Have never ever paid so much for a cheese burger, chips and small Pepsi. Price ,€17.60. I will never go here again. It is not worth half the asking price.

24/04/2025: Four star pizza at this stage since 90’ is particularly the pizza the election of Cork people. I live in Cork since 2003 and for me is the best pizza, the dough is made everyday the quality of tomato sauce and good cheese of mozzarella and voila it’s all about this 3 ingredients, because the toppings depend of the person but the important part of the pizza it’s the base, it’s all about the base, and I can say with 99% Four Star Pizza they know how to do very well the dough actually they are specialist’s. They know very well, whatever recipe they use and have is 5 stars and I believe is very well kept, and good dough is half away for success it’s almost impossible go wrong with the pizzas because the good taste and flavour always there.

05/05/2025: I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The girls at the reception were lovely, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. It’s a budget hotel, so don’t expect 5 star service if you’re not paying for it. But honestly, it was perfect for our weekend in Cork, it suited us really well

03/05/2025: Location is ideal, walking distance or short bus ride to everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not the most modern but it was clean and had amenities such as kettle and hair dryer.

23/03/2025: Ordered kappa biriyani..not good,oily food with full of bones and not even a single piece of meat.

09/03/2025: No veg options. When asked if there are samosas or vada pao, he said he will need to prepare and didn’t bother. I guess this place is good for non vegetarians and not suitable for vegetarians

28/05/2025: We visited Masseytown deli in the city. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. There is indoor seating suitable for groups and wheelchairs. Their sandwiches are available for takeout. We noticed that they have a breakfast and brunchenu as well. They have a selection of coffee and drinks. We had the Joel with fries. We had a flat white and water. The ladies were quick and helpful. It is wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking nearby.

13/05/2025: Not as good as it used to be. The cafe literally had no stock. Only sauce available was mayonnaise and one choice of drink and they had ran out of pork. Staff were extremely rude and couldn’t care less. Sandwich took ages to make and barely anyone in the cafe. The waitress also had no gloves on when making it. I asked for a bag and she didn’t even understand cause she had poor English

14/03/2025: We have ordered a variety of stuff from this menu and it has all been really nice! The lady that normally servws us behind the counter is nice to deal with, and there’s never too long of a wait for the food. Super friendly taking orders over the phone too! Likely to be our regular takeaway.

08/03/2025: This is our 4th and last time ordering from Asia Gourmet. I will not talk about taste or flavors as it is subjective matter. The meat in all four dishes /2 with chicken and 2 with pork/ was mixed pieces of fresh and old. Awful. We had that before, but i was optimist that this was one off and they will not do it again. I was wrong. We all feel sick now. Never again.
