08/02/2026: Just this Friday i ordered cod and chips supper brought it home and to say I was shocked would be an understatement the cod was so small was like a fish finger was so over cooked it was literally like leather totally un eatable so dried out from being over cooked it was so dark in colour batter was discussing i just spat it back out chips were only fair peas were taken from a plastic container and heated in a microwave in front of me now to say this place is a chipper is a long stretch by no means is it worthy being called the same as other great ones around and also I nearly died with the price 14.50 the most expensive place iv been to for a fish supper ever and as I said it was like leather so bad do not waste your money

07/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service! All staff extremely slow. Very quiet but to wait for food took ages. Our food got cold till we get it. Kids meal without kids meal box which is very unsual.

25/02/2026: Having heard so .much about the food here we decided to have breakfast. We ordered 2 teas, poached eggs on toast, toast and a granola bowl, €26.50. Two sandwiches for takeaway were €15.80. The cups of tea arrived...we had to ask for milk. The granola bowl was small, but good. The toast was 3 half slices of bread already buttered!! The poached eggs consisted of 2 eggs, 3 half slices of toast, also already buttered and just put on the plate...zero attempt at presentation. For this meagre portion of food, which cost at max €5 to purchase, €26.50 is outrageous, maybe if there had been some attempt at presentation, we had been allowed to butter our own toast and didnt have to ask for, the tiny jug of milk one could say ok, quality food. The sandwiches, if a bit heavy on the mayo, were far superior and better value for money. Will we return? Maybe for a sandwich, but breakfast was ridiculous.

08/07/2026: This place looks a bit dirty. The staff are friendly, but what really put me off was that when the girl started making the pizza, after being on her phone, she didn’t wash her hands or wear gloves before touching the dough. Phones carry thousands of bacteria—just think about it, you take them to the bathroom and everywhere else. 😩

22/06/2026: Your destroyed the shop next door, look I agree it needed To be modernised inside but the fact you covered the marble name of the old shop with a plastic looking daybreak sign and painted it grey. Why do you suck the joy out of our city ?

22/06/2026: Ordered a simple chicken and ham pizza. Just chicken and ham. Two toppings. A mission so straightforward even a 3 year old child could probably manage it. After waiting nearly an hour, my pizza finally was ready but came looking like it had picked up a few hitchhikers along the way. Somehow onions and mushrooms had joined the party completely uninvited. I wasn’t aware Four Star Pizza had a “surprise topping lottery,” but apparently I won. The pizza itself wasn’t bad, but by the time it was ready, I was considering filing a missing persons report. If I’d wanted mushrooms and onions, I’d have ordered mushrooms and onions. Instead, I ordered chicken and ham and got the director’s cut.

17/05/2026: The best pizza we’ve ever had! Absolutely unreal — fresh, flavorful, and always perfectly made. You can really tell they put care into every pizza. Special thanks to the staff as well — super friendly, polite, and always in a great mood. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

10/12/2025: Probably best night club in Cork. 2 Levels with different types of music, third level- smoke bar on top. Very good and very very loud as well.

02/11/2025: Awful experience. We had tickets, but the security refused to let us in for no reason. They said one of us was drunk — which was completely false. The way they spoke to us was rude, aggressive, and humiliating. Pure disrespect and discrimination.

14/11/2025: I came for their sourdough loaf only to be told it is only for sandwiches made there! I used to be able to buy and enjoy this wonderful bread before. Ridiculous!

09/11/2025: I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received at the café. I felt genuinely well looked after, and they were attentive at all times. Because of this, I decided not only to stay for breakfast, but also to remain longer and have lunch there as well. Megan, the waitress, was incredibly attentive, and the young man at the till was very kind to us.

05/05/2026: Delivery service is bad. Constantly forget about your order. Dont answer the phone. Takes nearly 3 hours for delivery if not more. The times I did have food was lovely but customer service not good.

21/06/2026: We order 1 hour ago and we don’t receive the pizza. I’m calling to the restaurant and no answer. As I see I’m not the first one that orders something and there is not pizza and no sign from them. At least some of the managers they have to take responsibility of this kind of situation and return our money back.

21/06/2026: I put the order at 23:09 and now it’s 00:20 them told me at 23:55 my order will be at mine

13/06/2026: Get kebab 3 times a week but just got one there earlier never again couldn’t even eat strangest test ever from it was going to ring put staff don’t care so why bother

12/06/2026: Ordered two pizzas, one pizza only had one of the toppings out of the four on it, and the other had all four toppings but there was about two pieces on there. Sadly didnt notice until i got home.
