13/09/2026: Terrible Quality Control — Horrible Texture & Cold/Stale Food Visited this location for the first time with a friend. While the portion of waffle fries was decent, the rest of the meal was completely inedible. The chicken had a soft, spongy, tofu-like texture—a huge red flag for poor quality meat or bad prep—and my friend noticed her mashed potatoes weren't fresh at all. Shortly after eating, I was hit with awful stomach cramps, gas, and diarrhea. Serving food of this quality is completely unacceptable. I won't be returning and suggest going elsewhere

26/08/2026: Zero stars. If people had any sense they would stop going to this place. The staff are unbelievably bad. Very disorganised and chaotic, can’t get off their phones for two minutes. Unhelpful and uninterested. I had to go and collect my own plate of food again today because it was sitting there for 10 minutes. The young girl handed down one of our meals and then went missing. As another reviewer has pointed out; all they have to do in this place to get paid is clean the tables and hand out the food and they can’t even manage to do that. A bunch of 10-year-olds could do a better job. In fairness to one of the girls she did apologise, but for the price of the food it’s a joke. It costs between €35.00 to €50.00 for two people to eat here, not including any appetisers or desserts, and you have to do absolutely everything yourself; go to the counter to order the food, get your own drinks, get your own cutlery, and now collect your own food as well. If you want a “chicken restaurant” I would encourage people to go to Nandos instead, where the food is equally as good, and they actually take note of what the customers are saying in the reviews

25/09/2026: I have to tell you, the South African release spray, both Cook and Spray, and Cook and Bake are miles ahead of your Schneider Release Spray, which still leaves stuff behind. Wish I could get those in Ireland

22/07/2026: Alice in your cork office showroom is brilliant. Went in today to buy about €100 of stock for our business. Came out spending €800.

24/07/2026: Great place to have Italian pizza.. Warm friendly staff.

08/07/2026: This place looks a bit dirty. The staff are friendly, but what really put me off was that when the girl started making the pizza, after being on her phone, she didn’t wash her hands or wear gloves before touching the dough. Phones carry thousands of bacteria—just think about it, you take them to the bathroom and everywhere else. 😩

08/02/2026: Just this Friday i ordered cod and chips supper brought it home and to say I was shocked would be an understatement the cod was so small was like a fish finger was so over cooked it was literally like leather totally un eatable so dried out from being over cooked it was so dark in colour batter was discussing i just spat it back out chips were only fair peas were taken from a plastic container and heated in a microwave in front of me now to say this place is a chipper is a long stretch by no means is it worthy being called the same as other great ones around and also I nearly died with the price 14.50 the most expensive place iv been to for a fish supper ever and as I said it was like leather so bad do not waste your money

27/09/2026: I was waiting 20 minutes for a donner and chips with a nann and whilest i was waiting all i saw was a kid touching every he could in the kitchen where all the food was. The donner was dry and tasted like it barely passed the fda, the chips were horrible they were with drenched with oil and had a rotten taste, and the nann wasnt a nann at all instead it was a tosted tortilla wrap

28/09/2026: Never seen a subway thats getting worse by the day! Quality of food for something thats supposed to be toasted came out as cold as if it was in the fridge all day and it was opened right after getting the food.. ordered a 6inch with a smarties cookie (which i didnt even get the cookie) also irdered 2 footlongs and 2 portuions of hash browns had to go back to get my second portion of hashbrowns since i only got one and to make things worse the response i got was “sorry new guy in training” even though the poor young fella only made our subs didnt bag it or anything and to top things off our food came with a used glove (which i dont remember asking for)

01/10/2026: I have visited this place on two occasions and, unfortunately, the service from the afternoon waitstaff leaves a lot to be desired. They are extremely rude, ill-mannered, and discriminatory. Without a doubt, a terrible service experience. I would not recommend this place.

22/09/2026: Really disappointing and very basic food quality. I ordered a cake, and it was completely dry and seemed like it had been frozen. I couldn’t even finish it. This was definitely my last time there.

02/10/2026: Went to the Mint Restaurant in the Macau Sporting Club with a group. Was fantastic. Teriffic food and really good prices. The staff were excellent.

18/09/2026: I’ve played here 20+ times… I walked in and the guy on reception asked me for ID. I gave him my drivers licence and he says he can’t find me on the system and I can’t sign up tonight. No explanation. Just “sorry about that” and he walks me to the door. I have no idea how they are running this place. I completely sober and wasn’t rude. Weird. I wonder if I’ll ever go back. Doubt it. Had a grand in my pocket

30/03/2026: We got a takeaway and it was absolutely disgusting. The food was congealed, only warm, and tasted awful. Went straight in the bin. Never Again

28/08/2026: Extremely disappointing , I purchased a tuna sandwich, made in store but located in the fridge. When I got home, I found the white bread to be gone yellow and there was green mould/fungus on the crust. This cannot be allowed to continue by management. Deli staff need to be spoke to by management.

07/04/2026: Absolutely terrible service! All staff extremely slow. Very quiet but to wait for food took ages. Our food got cold till we get it. Kids meal without kids meal box which is very unsual.

31/03/2026: Absolutely dog food, I asked for no tomato and I got tamato, the other wrap was soaking wet, very unhappy, asked for money back and said no

01/11/2026: Absolute trash if it's fish and chips you're after. Soggy fish, soggy chips (and not very many of them). Tartare sauce in packets, and the peas were closer to brown than green.

27/08/2026: The chips were poor quality (I don't know if they were reheated or what caused this issue). Hard and chewy texture, I ended up having to throw the chips away. First time experiencing poor standard of food from Dinos Takeaway. Will not be returning.
