30/08/2025: Usually order coffee, and it’s good. Place conveniently located in Mahon Point shopping center. The biggest problem- the place is becoming intolerably messy with food crumbs, tissues and spills on tables, chairs and floors. Infrequent and ineffective cleaning by staff. I started avoiding the place due to uncleanliness even though I enjoy their coffee.

04/08/2025: Very disappointing visit here today. It was busy but the lady serving us barked "you want food?" And "Here or takeaway" fairly aggressively. I started to tell her what muffins I wanted but when I realised there was a deal (4 for 6, this wasn't made clear), she tutted, rolled her eyes and began transferring the muffins to a bigger box. On top of this, she picked out an incorrect selection. I spotted it as she was boxing but didn't correct her for fear of pissing her off further. Tasty muffins but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired for the price you pay.

17/08/2025: Firecracker was supposed be spicy. But tasted like vegetable and prawn are dipped in sugar syrup. Way too sugary.

08/06/2025: Haven’t had ramen in a while and was impressed today. Despite being busy the food was made quickly and tasted lovely and fresh.

26/08/2025: The worst McDonald's, as always, the order was incomplete. I tried giving it a try a few times and that was my last. I ordered a Chicken Big Mac and it came with some strange cutlet, definitely not chicken.

26/08/2024: Very delicious. Not too sweet or too salty. Just perfect. Friendly stuff.

11/08/2024: I bought a 6 pack of macarons to bring as a gift home. Even after couple of days and a lot of travel, the quality of the macarons is super nice, they are crispy and have great cream filling. I enjoy that they are not so sweet.

30/08/2025: Food was really nice, chips portions good, burgers savage and order came fairly quickly through delivery. Only fault was I ordered 2 cheese pie meals but only received 1 chips, 1 cheese pie and 1 potato pie, tenders pretty small also. We will still order again though

11/06/2025: Since when was the 3 tender meal so small? They gave me three nuggets of a tender IN the small chips bags ? ! And the chips in the big bag meant for the tenders ? Disappoint, payed 10.35€ or something like that for three thumbs of a tender.. abhorrent

24/05/2025: Ordered for collection they said the food would be ready in 5 minutes we got there in 10 and they hadn't even started making it yet, asked for 2 plain burgers and both of them had everything on it

19/08/2025: Place has a great potential, but unfortunately quality of the food you get depends on staff preparing food on given day. My today's order ended up in rubbish bin. Dry, no sauce, no taste, inedible.

27/07/2025: Food is definitely tasty but the prices are crazy. €9 for a chips cheese garlic. €17.50 for a 10 inch pizza, I just can’t support this.

10/04/2025: The Best Hot Chocolate is to be had at this Coffee house. I was offered a mix of Dark and Milk Chocolate that was carefully mixed together which made for a very rewarding and enjoyable Hot Chocolate. Every other Hot Chocolate I have had since then,just tastes like Watery Milk. So Thanks Blue House Coffee for taking the time to make such a Great Hot Chocolate,so from here on in,my Hot Chocolate experience will be reserved for Blue House Coffee.✋️✋️ On top of all that the service is great and there is a lovely community atmosphere.❤️❤️❤️

14/03/2025: We were here at 0800 to get coffee and something to eat before our bus, but they were out of everything except one single pastry. The flat whites only came in regular size, and they were quite small for the cost. I was disappointed after reading the reviews.

15/06/2025: €17 for a Roast chicken dinner and I kid you not it was the worst I’ve ever attempted to eat in my life, I rarely have a complaint and I’ll move on not the end of the world but I was so so disgusted after eating in here the other day, the chicken is literally a breast of chicken fried, and so hard on the outside, not a sliced roasted chicken as you’d expect, I ate the potatoes because I was so hungry at the time and paid so much! I left everything else, I felt proper scammed! Photo is what I walked away and left!

14/02/2025: Very friendly staff and good service but food wasn’t good. Pasta al limone was inedible because it was so bitter and the tiramisu was frozen in the middle. Disappointing.

08/02/2025: recently visited Don gregorio, a fresh pasta spot in the city, with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. I ordered the spicy pasta with guanciale, and I was disappointed to find that the dish didn’t include any guanciale at all. The pasta itself was clumped together, likely because it wasn’t loosened enough with sauce, and the sauce lacked flavor. For a restaurant specializing in fresh pasta, this was a letdown. On a positive note, the **mortadella focaccia** was excellent—well-prepared and flavorful. The **coffee and cannoli** were also highlights of the meal, and I’d definitely recommend them. One frustration was missing out on the **ragu special**, which is one of my favorites. I wasn’t informed about it by the staff but overheard the waiter telling other customers. It would have been nice to have been given the same opportunity to try it. Overall, while there were some bright spots, the inconsistency in the food and service left me underwhelmed. I might give it another try in the future, but for now, I’d recommend sticking to the appetizers and desserts.

03/08/2025: I placed a delivery and they took my money never delivered it, said they did and charged me for it and refused to give me a refund. Scammers, would never go here again.

26/06/2025: The pizza was good, but not worth 35 quid you pay for a large size. Delivery was fast, though.

07/08/2025: This please is absolutely amazing, first of all the Man at the door he was talking to customer but he saw us confusing about parking came to us and sorted out the parking so kind 👍secondly I think guests relations staff a Woman was walking towards us we ask her about the please we were looking for she was very happily walked with us to the door and open the door for us just perfect 👌 thirdly the atmosphere inside is really impressive also all staff when they see you giving smile and hello.So we walked to the panorama terrace we ordered our drinks ,pints that my partner drinks were so nice she said and my ice coffee was so good balanced with coffee ice and milk just perfect.İt was so peaceful and quiet we ordered fish and chips and chocolate cake with ice cream then, was absolutely fabulous too ,most importantly staff are really attentive kept coming and asking if we need anything and how’s everything ok? Bathroom are spotless so clean the only thing was bothering me the fragrance in the toilet was good smelling but just so heavy so intensive ,we would back again to discover more in there.Thank you all.

14/07/2025: Tengo un maravilloso regalo de una comida y una visita al cine dentro de este hotel La comida fue genial pero los vinos fueron un problema ya que el vino pedido tuvo que ser cambiado tres veces ya que cada uno de los vinos que figuran en el menú eran un año más jóvenes de lo anunciado a la hora de mostrarnos las botellas. Esto hace la diferencia cuando el rojo es su elección. Eventualmente obtuvimos un vino encantador, pero tienen que ser honestos con el vino. Mi mayor queja fue que como habíamos pasado más de tres horas para la cena y el cine la película en sí era de una hora y 50 minutos nos hicieron pagar por el aparcamiento. Entiendo que este hotel tiene un nuevo gerente pero creo que este tipo de dinero scalping debe ser llamado a cabo. Después de todo gastamos los huesos de 250 euros y en ningún lugar nos informaron que el aparcamiento era extra. Me quejé con el gerente de turno y dijo que era un sistema nuevo en funcionamiento unas semanas y no dude en quejarse, pero nadie se podía hacer

06/06/2025: Cafe is small and seating cramped, decor a bit depressing. Coffee was OK though the cappuccino was very milky . There are better coffee shops around for the same price.

29/05/2025: Very good coffee shop and very good for a morning stop for breakfast and to drink a quality coffee. I really liked the coffee. I am a fan of good coffee and I know what good coffee is and here you have it. My congratulations for transforming this place into a coffee shop of very high quality above average, despite the competition not liking it and trying to say otherwise, but time is the best thing to test the waters.

11/06/2025: I went to the Maxol station in Ballincollig this morning expecting it to open at 6:00 AM, as listed on both Google Maps and their website. I waited outside for 10 minutes, hoping to quickly pick up a few things and fill up my car with petrol. However, when I got closer to the door after 6:00, I noticed a sign stating that they actually open at 6:30 AM. It’s really frustrating and misleading, especially when you’re planning your morning based on the advertised opening hours. Please update your hours online to reflect the correct opening time.
