12/08/2025: What an absolute nightmare of a service.

29/04/2025: Just had a delivery from Pizza Daddy. We had the fried chicken kebab, chicken tikka kebab, taco fries and a burger. Extremely happy with the food and quality. Fast delivery through Just Eat, and a loyalty card system with Pizza Daddy through just eat! Love loyalty systems! We will definitely buy again, not just because of the loyalty program, but the brilliant food. Thanks Pizza Daddy.

23/07/2025: Walked in a wee bit trolleyed and they were absolutely lovely.

09/06/2025: We got fresh, tasty donuts and nice service.

04/06/2025: Good pub for a few pints, this pubs they are the real pubs good laugh no kids and all friendly because everyone going there is to have a good time only good time isn’t it and a great laughing too the life is short and we don’t know if we still alive tomorrow so enjoy the present that’s the most important, congratulations for your pub and I wish you many years ahead with the some great energy and good vibes in the pub all the best.

13/07/2025: We had a family group of 16 celebrating an 80th birthday here. The setting was lovely, and the service was solid, our single waiter handled the large group with care, was friendly, and got all the orders right, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. We all ordered from the main menu, and while the dishes varied, the general consensus was that the food was average at best. A particular letdown was the “seared lemon sole fillet” which turned out to be just deep-fried fish in batter, more like pub grub than the refined dish the menu description suggested. To her credit, the manager acknowledged our concerns and made adjustments to the bill, which we appreciated. Still, for a venue like this - a 4 start hotel, the kitchen needs to up their game. Nice atmosphere, good service , but the food fell short of the mark.

23/06/2025: Stayed in hotel and foot injury meant I had to stay in to dine one night. Both courses had elements described on the menu missing with no explanation. Veg overcooked. Bland food. Wish I had paid for a taxi into town instead. Staff were good.

20/07/2025: Ordered on just eat as a delivery Had to pay €1 extra because of incorrect display delivery fee Extremely salty to the point it’s not edibles ( would be nice if I did not have to pay the €1 extra and if they ease up on the salt )

19/04/2025: Absolutely loved this place, possible the best satay sauce I’ve had. I’m a big lad and couldn’t finish the portion they gave It’s like they put 3 chickens in there. I don’t live near Blackpool but I will likely consider making this my main Chinese. Very happy

29/06/2025: No triple cheeseburger, as if they’re hard to make laik. No student meal, I’m struggling. Asked for free chicken nuggets, didn’t get them of course. Almost certain there was a man in one of the bins.

30/05/2025: Mi amigo y yo pedimos un McFlurry cada uno y salieron de alguna manera derretidos y esponjosos en lugar de una textura McFlurry normal. Estoy asombrado y nunca volveré otra vez

09/06/2025: AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! If I could give it ZERO I would - absolute disgrace, waited over an hour and a half for food and when it came it was freezing cold. Rang to complain TWICE and the Chinese woman started shouting down the phone calling me a liar and that the food was hot she “remembers”. The food has to be binned the minute it was opened because you would have been sick if you ate it. Refused to refund us and got zero satisfaction! Absolutely avoid at all costs unless you want food poisoning!

21/02/2025: One of my favorite Chineses in cork. Delivery is always super quick and prices are good. Spicy box is amazing.

22/08/2025: Good food but the staff could clear tables a bit more often.

24/07/2025: Was kept waiting on the drivethru for 40 minutes until I honked and she came to tell it would be another 15 minutes. This was in the afternoon.

27/06/2025: Had a lovely stay. Safe, clean, cheap option. The breakfast was pretty basic but it does the job.

25/06/2025: Was here before so far a very good hostel cannot say one bad word called a half hour before arrival and told the staff had a bicycle with me and were a 100 per cent okay gave me storage for my bike and all very welcoming and any time I told them might have to check out a bit earlier than usual were 100 per cent about that too so welcoming and easy going their pizza and pint special is good and it was good very easy going but well managed hostel they know how to pour a good pint and very decent cocktails and great music most nights of the week I would definitely highly recommend BRU BAR AND HOSTEL to anyone 👍

27/06/2024: I visited this place few days ago I ordered wings and they were tooo vinegary and Lamb Rogan Josh was sooo salty plus the food colour they add is worth killing somebody Please visit some other good Indian Food restaurant in cork and you better skip this

25/06/2025: We ordered the sesame honey chicken for takeaway, but unfortunately it was very dry and didn’t seem fresh. We brought it back and asked for a fresh replacement, but sadly received the same dish again. We were disappointed and hope quality will be better next time.

26/08/2025: I brought back a full inedible fish here once to ballincollig, and the manager at the time, she told me I could not get a refund even though I had a receipt - I was told to take a new one or nothing! It was very imbarasing infront of the other costumers. I contacted Dinos HR in November 2023 when this happened, but I got only one reply, and I got no satisfaction. I go out of my way now to go to Bishopstown; they are far superior in every way. August 2025 now and still no Satisfaction.

13/07/2025: Service appalling, food was cold, saw my fish sitting under the heater for at least 6 minutes. Chips cold. All the food was dried out. Not a friendly member of staff to be seen. And no one actually looked up to see who they were serving and nothing else said except for salt and vinegar. I found my whole experience there as distasteful as the food. Will NOT be going again.

30/08/2025: Terrible place, have a look at the raw chips we were served. It was like famine times they were so strict with how many chips each person got it was actually depressing, if you can, avoid this place, and if you can’t be prepared for under cooked chips or being overcharged. The staff just laugh at you for being disgusted at the terrible quality, bear in mind, as they laugh at you, you’re paying to keep them going, and 20 euro for 2 portions of undercooked chips and a three piece of chicken tenders is laughable, support local and all that but when it comes to a place that’s willing to poison you what’s the point, let them close down for poor quality.

02/08/2025: Im a regular enough customer. Went there last night and ordered a breast in a bun and a rebel reily wrap. I had to put my card into the card machine and this morning when I checked my online banking , I saw that I was charged 111.41 e for the food. Now to be fair to the guy working their he had the money ready for me when I called in to explain and he dud say he tried to come out and call.me but I was gone. I told him no probs and these things happen My issue is this. It was he. Who pushed the wrong buttons on the machine, not me. I had to go out of my way to go down to the chipper and yet he was giving.me 100e back and I had to pay the balance owed?? Think.it was about a fiver. I found tjus very disrespectful as charging someone over 100e is a big mistake and as a regular customer I had to.use my time to rectify things. My point being this take away does not value regular customers because if they did ,they would have waved what was owed on the grounds of the inconvenience and hassle that they caused the customer.

18/04/2025: I can't say anything good about this place, first of all it's dirty, I waited more than 40 minutes for my order, the toilet is dirty. I ordered a kebab and ended up with severe poisoning 🤮 , completely ignore this place.
