The best restaurants in Cork

28/09/2026: So I tried breast in a bun meal here. No just no it's not the same as the city centre locations which are fabulous and always has been. This doesn't feel like the same thing at all. Definitely doesn't taste the same. Just no consistency which city centre locations. If you love hillbillies as a treat then slip this.

13/10/2026: We had a great lunch! We were taken care of by Maria, and she was fantastic! She made sure our allergens were respected and was very proactive checking everything for us with dessert as well!

26/09/2026: Can’t speak to the food because we left after waiting more than 20 minutes to get served. Came back to meet my travel partner for a drink and had multiple staff walk past me at the bar. Waited another 20 minutes without either stopping to take an order. Not sure what is happening here but the service is God awful.

25/09/2026: The filling of the sandwich was good and fresh, but the bread itself seemed like it was from the previous day. One of the problems with Subway is that the experience depends a lot on who is serving you. For example, I’ve never had this issue with stale bread at McDonald’s, but it does happen at Subway. Maybe because I bought the sandwich in the morning, I was given bread that had been left over from the previous day?

25/07/2026: Nice staff with healthy food. Definitely recommend

26/10/2026: My daughter just got a delivery. My meal was edible. Just about!! My daughters breast in a bun meal though nearly made her lose a tooth. Not good enough for a chipper thats meant to be one of the "best" in cork. Wouldn't waste hard earned money here again

25/09/2026: One of the best chippers. In cork. The sloppy foleys are the best

29/08/2026: This is going to be my Google review so disappointing we go here every now and again as a treat staff we’re so rude cracking her knuckles as she served us Absolutely shocking experience. We ordered all of our food together, yet it came out in different stages, leaving some of us eating while others were still sitting there waiting. By the time we eventually had everything, half of the food was cold. The chips were like rocks — hard, dry and practically inedible. The onion rings were cold and burnt, and as for the chicken, the photos speak for themselves. After opening it up and seeing what we were served, we certainly weren’t going to eat it. When an entire order is placed together, it’s reasonable to expect the meals to arrive together, hot and properly cooked. Instead, we paid good money for food that was cold, overcooked and extremely disappointing. Most of it was left behind. A complete waste of money and without a doubt one of the worst meals we’ve been served. Definitely won’t be returning to Dinos Ballincollig

25/08/2026: Overall a good shop and I always have a good experience. I come here often and I get the impression that they are understaffed, especially when it’s busy. The food is always nice

02/10/2026: Good coffee and portion size! The baristas sean and sabrina are really nice and chatty!

08/08/2026: Very tasty, but unfortunately it was quite dry. It would be much better with some mayonnaise or another sauce.

22/08/2026: Lovely local family run establishment. Great variety of food and is a general happy family business !!!

03/08/2026: Had a fantastic chicken burger/chips \ mushrooms in the fry ballincollig yesterday. Very enjoyable food. Top class

28/09/2026: I was served by a very friendly Brazilian woman, my food was very good and really well-prepared.

06/08/2026: Very nice but bit much sauce on the breast in a bun

03/09/2026: Served a lemon tart on top of a cremebrule. Kind of ruined both of them. Just became a soggy lemon tart with custard. Tasted good still.

27/06/2026: Got the chocolate cake for my son’s 18th Birthday. Cake was absolutely delicious. They took the order on the phone and followed up for details. On the day it was ready well before time to collect.

30/09/2026: Very polite and friendly staff, the food quality and quality is great as well.

24/09/2026: Best service ever, amazing food and the place is beautiful.

24/10/2026: Got very bad food poisoning after eating a pizza here. Avoid.

02/07/2026: We hade food poisoning all food disgusting, rude owner

15/10/2026: Was an hour late didn’t answer phone when answered the phone didn’t reply to questions but only positive was delivery driver Ali was very nice and made up for bad experience

23/09/2026: Ordered from here and the driver did not show up. They then argued aggressively on the phone lying about delivery. Then they refused to refund the order. It took 3hrs, 3 phone calls, and €45 to receive nothing but anger and denial about their abysmal services. We then went to Dominoes instead and got better food, better service, and actually had our food within 20mins. Will never order from Apache again after this.

18/09/2026: Their pannini keeps getting dearer and dearer honestly they should just make it its own meal deal at this point

29/07/2026: Quick service and the staff was nice and friendly. I asked for a iced tea and the lady was very patient telling me all the flavours and options available and I ordered a white chocolate and raspberry muffim. Delicious!! So gooooood I really recommend it!

19/10/2026: Enjoyed it but busy had a wait for food

18/10/2026: Automation has slowed down service. Restaurant can be dirty. Food temp delivery slow. Food can be cold
